About me

i was born here in Kansas City Missouri. but i've always had a high level of wanderlust. early on i had a long involvement with non-profit work. making a living as a fundraiser and using that living to organize and agitate for those issues. the groups were varied but mainly focused on social justice and environmental topics.
after trying, unsuccessfully, to establish a more typical home and family routine i happened upon a commercial driving job. driving a sightseeing tour bus here in KC. that lead eventually to my Over The Road job role. i've recently upgraded to A class, tractor-trailer licence.
i love the constant variation of OTR driving. and i've taken a hobby of shooting pitures of the scenery. i've gotten quite a few pictures that i think are worth sharing. (click here to see; http://s19.photobucket.com/albums/b176/wordwe- aver5/)
but i am also a social creature. and this job requires extended time alone. i might go for weeks talking to no one other …
