Everything happened so fast. we left at 3am

A minute ago we were excited about the possibilities of arriving early in Ifugao. All eight of us on board an L300 van, looking forward to our 2nd visit at Lagawe Ifugao and assess how we can concretely contribute in the work in the orphanage and the ministry of Pastor Jess which he started 30 years ago.

then as we were crossing the intersection of Meralco Avenue and Julio Vargas street, I saw in my pheripheral view a fast approaching taxi. I said, "Uy! Uy! Uy!...." silently said a prayer and closed my eyes.



WHAMMM!!!!!!!!!

it was a major jolt. my feet seemed stuck between the dashboard and the carseat. Then out of no where a policeman appeared and adviced us not to move. I complied, and checked on the others. then I tried moving my toes and was glad that that I can actually move them. I tried to go further and tried to pull out my legs. surprisingly, I was able to pull it out and so I got of my sit and out of the car.

So I took pictures and videos of the incident. I personally attended to police investigators and make sure that they get my version of how things happened. Except for what appeared as a stiff-neck, I came out without a scratch. It was nerve-wracking indeed and but in the end , there are more reasons to be thankful for.

By 10am, 3 of us decided to push through our trip to Ifugao. that too was an exciting time. But that's for another blog
