  OUR LOVE

  A whirlwind so fast
  
  Rushing through my soul
  
  Soaring above the clouds
  
  Shining brighter than the sun
  
  All consuming
  
  The eater of pain
  
  The national carrier of joy
  
  Scary, confusing
  
  Yet all so true
  
  Pure, unspoiled
  
  Attainable but yet so far
  
  Will it burn out?
  
  To nothing but a sizzle
  
  Or will it last
  
  Can we handle something so fast?
  
  Can we survive……..
  
  This hurricane
  
  Over the top
  
  Over the edge
  
  Will we plummet?
  
  Or will we rise
  
  Lost, but found
  
  Alone, but yet not lonely
  
  Can we stand?
  
  An island against the world
  
  Combating, moving forward
  
  To a safe haven…..,
  
  Each others arms
  
  Where we find peace
  
  Can this last
  
  To afraid to fail
  
  To afraid to move forward
  
  And then I look into your eyes
  
  And my mind becomes clear
  
  I see the strength that I need
  
  To move on
  
  To live
  
  To feel
  
  The power of our love.

  told me your dreams for us

  Darkness engulfs me
  And covers my soul
  I'm blinded by hate
  As my faith disappears
  
  I sit in a dark corner
  As the sorrow sinks in
  i'm losing all hope
  Cause i'm falling deeply in
  
  the darkside wants
  To capture my soul
  as helplessness
  Becomes my goal
  
  my spirit with one
  Last attempt
  cries out for a savior
  "Help me" It shouts "Help me"
  
  From the light
  In the darkness you came
  To save my soul
  And kill all the shame

  Everyday I dream of a day
  We can play catch in the yard
  Everyday i dream of a day
  I know you will make me proud
  
  I long to see you
  Take your first steps
  graduate from high school
  And walk down the ilse.
  
  I long to hear you say
  MOMMY I LOVE YOU
  
  It's a pitty it's only a dream
  Cause I'm not ready to hold you yet.
