l THE BEST BANANA
The Brown family had a long history of planting and selling bananas, but nowadays, the competition was so tough that the leader of the family, old Paul Brown had to think a another way to increase the sales rate. After years of searching and lots of experiments, Paul invented the most delicious banana in the world, at the same time it was good-looking. With the promoting of the new product, the sales rate raised rapidly.
The Best Banana, the name of the new product, could be seen everywhere, the television, magazines, newapapers, etc. There were even some saying that it could make people get a longer life. People all wanted to buy such a banana, which could not only be eaten but also as a decoration for its outstanding look.
l A BEAUTIFUL DECORATION
Years and years by, people gradualy regarded banana not so much as a fruit that could be eaten but a beautiful decoration. Then hundres of years later, no one knowed that banana was for eating. It had become a decoratin at home or a Christmas present for friends and families.
Maybe it was hard for us, who still take banana as fruit, to understand, so let’s consult a dictionary what banana is. It was said that banana, a long curved decoration with a thick yellow and soft flesh, that grows on trees in hot countries.
l A MAD MAN
How about the Brown family now? The leader of the family at the time was Tom Brown. He didn’t know banana was a fruit either until he found a handout by his ancestor Paul Brown. It was about how to plant The Best Banana. There’s a sentence caught Tom’s attention, “It will be the most delicious ever exist on the earth.” Tom was confused at first, because he was told banana was a decoration since he was born. Now the inventor of The Best Banana said it was eatable! In order to find out the fact, Tom decided to have a banana. He hesitate for a while to have the first bite, but after it , he found it was delicious, sweet and fragrance.
Consulting his pillow all night long, Tom made his mind to tell the whole world that banana was eatable. He made an ad on the Internet with one sentence,”Banana is a kind of fruit.” At first, people just took it as a joke, but a few weeks later, they came to realize that Tom was serious. Everyone thought Tom got mad. The poor man was sent to psychiatric hospital by his family.
A decoration was eatable? How ridiculous!
