can honestly say I've only ever had flu twice in 42 years....once when I worked in A&E in 91 and then again a few years back when it led to pneumonia....something I don't want to have again......nobody round here seems to have it (that I've heard of anyway)......it will wait til the kids are due to go back to school then strike lol and I'll end up with them off even longer than 7 sodding weeks....yes I'm slowly going gaga with them and the lousy weather isn't helping much......mind you saying that there's a funny glow in the sky today like someone has forgotten to turn the light off..........hope you are feeling even better today and can muster some energy for Lammas tomorrow....take care xxx

i dont really get ill, but i have been since starting at the hospital i gotta build up an immunity to all these yukky bugs everyone comes in with lol. harry hasnt really ever been ill and with this he only had a sore throat for about 3 days so not bad. harry has been home with me all week. I guess at least swine flu has helped me not have to pay such extortionate child care fees, tiring though.

yeah the weather is shtieee i do want to go out today, pref without spending lots of money as i did yesterday. i went out to get an iron, i ended up wiv an iron and a gerbil hmm i had to carryit all home on the bus hehe cage, gerbil,, sawdust, food, mann it weighed a tonn.

wow lammas already.. i cant believe that, working full time makes me just not recognise these things anymore, shame really. they come and go so quickly.

well i work in a hospital it was inevitable really i guess, its not that bad though, aches and pains and stuff like normal cold. not confirmed either. but in the office at the moment apparently they are swabbing people. and two others have gone home. but... the liklihood of most people having some traces of it are v high indeed. doesnt mean that everyone will get it though.
