My Heart
My heart is as deep as the universe and my moods as the stars in the sky.
I see beyond the normal and i feel with a whirlwind of power.
My eyes are like diamonds, reflecting all that passes it's view.
The mirror of the soul transcends through the eyes.
The eyes holds whatever dwells in the heart.
My eyes have seen many tears and joys;
not all was my own or burden to bare, yet i bare them just the same.
Aches and moans fills my groin as pain reaps through my essence.
I am alive; alive and free.
All that I see and all that I feel belongs to me.
My heart is as deep as the universe.
I embrace all I can, taking every breath there is.
I am here for now and I reach to touch the highest star.
I am that I am and I strive to be only me.
So many dos and don'ts, if one try to follow, self would be lost!
Give me rubies and diamonds,
feed me the finest foods as i sip the sweetest wine from your hand,
but most of all touch me from within.
Echoes of laughter are heard deep in the valley, as children play in the street.
The sun is fading, leaving a warm glow upon the earth.
Smiles and tears are all just a part of living, loving and giving of self.
I have had many smiles to shine so very bright.
Some have even lit my path on rainy cloudy days.
Many tears has soaked my bosom in the darkness of the day.
My love flows as deep as a great river.
It has the strength of an old oak.
The wisdom of the owl is at awe, as to the depth of knowledge my love holds.
I give all that I can give.
I love that I love.
Life is but a litlle while,
but in all my living, I DO LIVE!
