Almost Fall!
Howdy again! We survived The Great Geauga County Fair!
Today is September 13th 2007, and once again I am using crutches to get around. I had to have surgery on my left foot again. This time he took the screws out, and had to redue the union on my big toe as it did not fuse the first time. Hopefully there was no permanent damage done to 2nd and 3rd toes from the lack of support of the big toe! This time he put a cast on foot from the get go, andno screws, this time there are 3 wires keeping toes alligned. and they stick out of my foot. It sorta creeps me out, cause foot is swollen and it puts pressure on wire and i can feel exactly where it is in my foot!
Doc Mike at first said it would be another 6 weeks, after surgery last evening, he said he would take them wires out in about 8 weeks!
Gonna be a long year! -
Seasons of life!
Hello! Well summer is upon us, it is 83 degrees here in NorthEast Ohio today. And it seams I will spend another 3 weeks on crutches. What a wasted summer this is starting to be. I keep trying to remember that when it is all over that my feet will (hopefully)be pain free!
I hope all my fellow horse people are getting to enjoy their horse much more than I am! I am going to try and get the 2 of mine that are cart broke back into the cart at least, so they are doing something other than standing in the round pen or barn.

Easter Sunday!
Howdy everyone! Well, it is Easter Sunday, there is close to 2 feet of snow in my front yard. The funny thing, at Christmas, it was warm and sunny-no snow! The wonders of North-east Ohio! I wonder what Fire Works would look like with a foot of snow on the ground? Easy on the ham and chocolate today!
