Some clients don't require a sitter for extended periods of time; they just need someone to walk their pets while they're busy at work. I can do that for them. I love playing with pets, also. They need attention while their owners are gone. If clients need someone to watch their animals overnight or for longer than one night, I provide that service as well. Do you drop by the client's home or watch the animals at your own home? Pamela Feola: Whatever arrangement best suits the client's needs. Pets can become very stressed when they're removed from their environments; in those cases, I'm happy to drop by the client's residence to take care of the pets. My home is also open for clients who would rather take their pets somewhere more personal than a kennel. How is business these days? Pamela Feola: Business is great. I started Doggie Mom Pet Service in May of 2009, which makes this month our one-year anniversary. In that time, I've doubled my clientele, which is very exciting.
