Change is often said to be a word that is so hard to give birth to, for years nations, heroes, icons and men of great character have struggled with this particular word trying so hard to make people accept change and to draft a route that will ensure a peaceful prosperous future for not only our great grandchildren but for those that will come after tens of generations have come and gone by. looking at the current game of chairs going on between the members of the august house and our anti-corruption commission it is quite evident that we may be able to speak the word but very few of us can actually stand tall and say proudly that they practice change and want nothing but the best for our future and the future of those yet to come..

I personally am afraid for the child that i will bring to this world especially if he/she is to live within these borders where the ladder has been chopped in the middle by those at the top. I fear for my little one for at this rate we might not have a country but a few plots owned by a few individuals who may decide to take a chartered plane to the Bahamas after having sold our resources leaving us to lynch one another as the Rwandese did not too long ago and the grim pictures we saw right here just five years ago..

A friend of mine once said we should not blame the politicians for we put them there, but who am i not to blame them when year in year out i vote but never see my candidate anywhere, is it just me or are there others who feel the same way about these votes? if indeed i were to put someone in there it would be myself, but then again what do you do when you go to Mars and find that they use Hydrogen instead of oxygen for survival?

I wish someone could answer these questions for me but until then i think am going to close my eyes and pray that one day i may wake up and find truth and accountability lying by the door and then maybe i can mail them to our leaders as a Christmas present............
