Issues with Phyu Sayadaw Bhaddanta Narapati’s Death

Posted in Asia with tags Assasination, Buddhism, Buddhist Monks, Burma, excommunication, Mecchadihtti Than Shwe, Monk Death on November 27, 2009 by buffalohair

With the increased secret arrests of Buddhists monks all over Burma I find it more than coincidental that a prominent monk ends up dead. This event raises my eyebrows to say the very least since assassination are commonplace and they come in a wide variety of sources including biological. Car wrecks, suicides, diseases of every sort and the tried and true “disappearances” go unchallenged. Families who make waves simply vanish, provided they are not well known.

Gen. Than Shwe’s Roadmap to Disciplined Democracy is nothing more than a journey on a vicious circle of deception. In a show of defiance he has quietly continues collecting men, women and children then locking them away. The notion he had Phyu Sayadaw Bhaddanta Narapati killed is a very viable possibility. With government agencies at his beckoned call a coroner would only be writing his death sentence if he revealed the true nature of the monk’s death. True to form there would be an intentional leak verifying the junta’s participation in this act of barbarism to show the world he was not fearful of the consequences of excommunication. From all indicators Than Shwe would win another psychological victory against the west since the west’s response would be another impotent gasp and angry letter repudiation. Theoretically of course.

Clearly Than Shwe wants to set up a “sweet deal” with the US and the free world just like his chums in North Korea have. With the growing concern over Burma’s burgeoning nuclear ambitions Than Shwe has stacked the deck and the west is playing with marked cards. The west’s dismal failure in dealing with North Korea and its continued atrocitious human rights issues has all but neutralized his fear of reprisal. Now in plain sight he continues to murder the ethnic minorities throughout the country while kidnapping kids for sexual favors and soldiers in his enslaved military. The world had become enablers while pandering to the illusion of hope.

With a xenophobic dictator who does not trust his closet aids and generals you have to wonder what Phyu Sayadaw Bhaddanta Narapati said in private that may have ushered his execution. Other people faded into obscurity or simply died of freak accidents or diseases when they posed a threat to the junta even his close friends. Knowing his demise is near has placed a sense of urgency in his quest for absolutely loyal generals to protect his family from the inevitable consequences when he is dead. Hiding his fear by lashing out against the opposition has also revealed his soft underbelly. Sadly there is nothing he can do to alter his personal destiny and the consequences for his actions against Buddhism. What the free world could not accomplish since Than Shwe took control of Burma will be done in a twinkling of an eye for his time is near. Wonder why his astrologer did not warn him about that?

While rumors fly about the possible release of Aung San Suu Kyi and the political prisoners the junta continues its arrests and secret incarcerations. Murder and rape continue as the secret war on ethnic minorities continues with greater zeal than ever. The junta stepped up its campaign of *kidnapping children for military service. In fact reports have identified 112 children in Pegu Division alone where parents had the courage to report this heinous crime.

Children were literally taken of the streets by soldiers on their way home from schools or anywhere in public with regard for their families. Insiders tell of threats to death by soldiers to grieving parents and in some cases the parents were murdered to eliminate witnesses. For the parents who’ve held their ground and reported these crimes as well as the International Labour Organization (ILO) in Rangoon City, their fates are still pending. According to a report in the Irrawaddy they could not make contact with officials of the ILO. Knowing how the junta works there is no doubt reporting parents as well as the ILO will soon face harsh penalties for lodging concerns for the whereabouts of their kids.

Enter the United Nations Security Council Working Group on Children and Armed Conflict (SCWG) and their feel good report (October) on the junta’s progress in screening children from their ranks. Either the United Nations is totally incompetent or they are sugar coating the reality of the juntas use of kids in the military for nothing could be further than the truth. Likened to nothing more than a photo-op moment or theatrical performance, a hand full of children have been “discovered” in the ranks of the military. They were released to parents with great fanfare while thousands of child soldiers go undetected by the rest of the world. The junta’s façade of morality and reform is nothing more than a great lie.

Child soldiers have defected from all regions within Burma telling of sexual abuse by officers and soldiers. Other kids have identified chemical and biological weaponry they were forced to handle on numerous military actions throughout the ethnic regions. These courageous children told in great detail how the children were kidnapped and forced into the military or their parents would be killed. Some witnessed their parents being butchered alive by troops in order to keep the kids loyal to the junta. Since they are slaves for all intents and purposes of the military they were used to clear out mine fields so as not to expend the lives of Burman soldiers. Like calves to slaughter children have become the grease that lubes the military with cheap labor and suicide missions for they are expendable. I still remember how several generals joked about the abundance of orphaned children after Cyclone Nargis and the bounty of “child recruits”. Young girls were used as sexual favors and in many cases their mutilated bodies were left in the jungles to rot or sold into Thailand’s burgeoning sex slave markets. It was purely disgusting to learn the “cute” boys would be the favor of officers for sexual use while the strong and fit were used to sweep minefields and work in the most hazardous duties within the military. And this is the regime we the free world want to vindicate and qualify as a legitimate government in the 2010 election.

Talk is cheap as the world conducts summits and sends their politicians on “fact finding” missions to “discover” what is actually happening in Burma. With over 500,000 refugees around the world it is obvious to me there are plenty of eye witness accounts these politicians could have listened to. I personally find all these feel good missions useless as the world panders to Than Shwe’s distractions while he buys time for the bogus election. It should be clear that the fate of Burma rests within the people and not from the impotent outside world. The media that is owned by the corporations who continue to sideline sanctions has failed the Burmese people time and time again. Politicians only offer more rhetoric and lip service as Burma continues to live in its personal hell. The fact Than Shwe fudged the figures of oil and gas profits is a clear indicator he has been laundering money for all the foreign corporations who continue to do business in Burma. They in turn report a grossly smaller figure to their respective nations while pocketing billions and possible trillions in laundered profits.

With the new axiom of money over morality the child soldier issues are paltry at best since it stands in the way of the corporate bottom line. China, Korea, USA, England and France enjoy profits from the exploitation of Burma in spite of “sanctions”. The list of corporations invested in Burma read like a who’s who in Than Shwe’s money laundering operation. This also opens up a can of worms about all world wide corporate ventures where they buy off tin horn dictators. How many other countries are laundering profits for these international corporations? I venture to say most of them since continent after continent where these corporate thugs are doing business are engaged in some type of suppression of the indigenous populations. Africa and the America’s are engaged in a secret war against ethnic minorities with blood being spilled as of this writing. We should not forget China’s continued assault on their indigenous populations. And where is the media though all this, making nice with tyranny and spreading lies about the ethnic minorities who are crying for help.

Let Burma be a lesson not learned by so called civilized nations for they are about to taste a new type of tyranny called globalization and the colonization of the planet. In all earnest man can not stop this cycle of greed for this is a part of prophecy and it was meant to be. Nature will have the final say while the intangible aspects of our reality come into focus as this cycle comes to a close and this is inevitable as well. Like they say, it is darkest before the dawn and we’ve entered the darkest period in world history, the new world order.

    Swine Shwe Flu

The Swine Shwe Flu raged across Sri Lanka this week as Gen, Than Shwe of Burma darkened the halls of Buddhist temples this week in spite of the fact he was excommunicated from the faith. Possibly the Sri Lanka government was not aware of the caustic situation with Buddhism within Burma. But knowing Burmese refugees were treated like animals with reports of them being burned by cigarettes by Sri Lankan authorities it’s unlikely. With Sri Lankan authorities embracing Than Shwe it’s all too apparent this government was infected with the Swine Shwe Flu.

Unchecked this disease has infected the once honorable ranks of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and from all indications the *US delegation has shown signs of this disease. Cambodia will soon succumb to this virus since their leadership has embraced Thaksin Shinawattra the fugitive from justice who betrayed Thailand for corporate money. Thaksin is posterior smooching chums of Than Shwe and has disgraced the role of Prime Minister during his tenure in Thailand. You would think Cambodia learned her lesion over the Pol Pot fiasco. Small wonder they will soon feel the wrath of their decision by repeating the mistakes of the past.

With the US dropping the most basic conditions of reconciliation within Burma (Release of Aung San Suu Kyi, Release of all political prisoners, Review bogus constitution) these so called progressive meetings are totally worthless. In fact these talks are nothing more than a photo op moment to appease the G*D’s of greed and corruption. The face of international corporatism better know as globalization is beginning to emerge in Asia as their leadership panders to the lucrative desires of industries and stock holder, not China or the US as reported. Their citizens will soon enjoy living in additional tyranny as Asia spirals out of control. Sadly these events will only foster revolts across the Asian landscape crippling the economies as Swine Shwe Flu spreads across budding democracies. China is on the brink of revolution in spite of all the feel good reports about her economy. With natural disasters already spreading throughout China’s landscape it’s only a matter of time and like dominos the rest of Asia will follow suite. This is a given and there is no altering what will soon come to pass.

In visions it was said western businessmen will be dragged through the streets by angry mobs of the suppressed while impotent western governments looked on with horror. It will be a direct reflection of what is happening today in Angola with the Chinese population since they are under siege as of this writing. The mainstream media called the perpetrators of this siege the mafia but they fail to mention how the Chinese turned the indigenous population of Angola into second class citizens. The Uyghur people of Turkestan have suffered a similar intrusion by China and have revolted. Though the media has stopped reporting the news about the Uyghur their suppression continues. The Falun Gong continues to be used as cattle for harvest for organ “donations” as well as filling the ranks of China’s Gulag System. We’ve all but forgotten about the plight of the Tibetan people in favor of cheaper prices for flawed Chinese goods. How far beyond stupid is that?

The magnitude of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s posturing of economy over human rights is only beginning to show its ugly head. As you well know, it was her hopelessly corrupt husband Bill who gave American industries to China as well as widening the trade deficit. The media has failed to report what the indigenous populations of Haiti thought when Bill and the UN marched into their country with more World Trade rhetoric and 10 more international industries. The people likened this to “more sweat shops” since it was the textile industry that has encroached on this nation. Africa lay in ruins and the positive press from this beleaguered continent does not reflect the views of the vast majority of the populations. It’s all about the money and international corporate greed as natural resources are stolen.

Barrick Gold, with their personal army, murders African citizens with the blessings of corporations and the tin horn dictators with barely a peep from the press. With good reason too, Barrick is one of the largest contributors of Bill Clinton’s “non profit” organization. It is money laundering at its best. Ironically Barrick has laid siege in both North and South America through it’s subsidiaries as well. Other mining interest have followed suite as Indigenous people throughout Central and South America are murdered in secrecy to steal their tribal land. With the mainstream media owned part and parcel by international corporations it is obvious all of mankind is under siege as a hand full of criminals colonize the planet through the corrupt politicians they have purchased around the world.

We made our bed and now we will lay in the cesspool of international corporate greed. Our ambivalence to the cries of the people of Burma will be rewarded since we failed to stop the spread of the Swine Shwe Flu in Asia. Sadly and most predictably we’ve planted the seed of war around the world and this will also come to pass as pandemonium spreads across the globe. What international corporations thought was a fat hog to slice will be a Pandora’s Box they never bargained for. Cutting off the nose to spite their face or simply biting of the hand of the ones who fed them, corporatists languish in the lap of luxury but will discover their axiom of greed was woefully miscalculated. Factors in their equation that have been forgotten or ignored will come back to haunt them as the dark side of the Swine Shwe Flu takes its toll.

Room at the top of this elaborate pyramid scheme will be scarce as the true culprits rise above all their one time allies and partners in crime. And it will be the in fighting of the greedy that will ultimately be their demise. There is no room at the top for everyone who has sold their nations for the corporate dollar as the betrayers become the betrayed. A kingdom founded on lies will perish from the very lies they fostered but nature will have the final say in this equation. There is no dollar figure that will stop the wave of disasters that have already begun across the globe. Money will become worthless as economies falter in the wake of these crumbling empires and this will occur in a matter of days according to visions. We will soon reach the pinnacle of greed via a new world order as mankind arrives at the gates of tyranny.

Enter the intangible aspects of life modern man has ignored and you will soon discover these intangible factors will far outweigh what we thought was important. The corporate bottom line will be replaced with the need to find drinking water, sustenance and shelter. Like the thieves in the night nature is already counting coup while politicians and corporatists find a way to glean a handsome profit by pending natural disasters. Nothing man can muster will alter the course of nature’s wrath. It is simply stupid to consider that buying “carbon credits” will save anything in nature but it will assist in someone’s corporate bottom line. How can mankind buy their way into environmental solvency in the first place? Please explain the science of moving pollution to third world nations. Aren’t we still on the same planet? What is gained by this other than finding cheaper labor with no environmental restrictions? We are still polluting the Earth and that is the bottom line. In any event, it will be nature that will have the final say in the destiny of mankind and that was prophecies by the survivors of the last Ice Age thousands of years ago. Like the old ones say, “The greedy will die of starvation in their sleep while using a sack of pinto beans as a pillow”

The latest plague to hit the planet is the Swine Shwe Flu. This will be the death nil of the contemporary era for there is no cure other than death.

    Aung San Suu Kyi picture

With news *Daw Aung San Suu Kyi may be released to organize her party for the pending election by Senior Burmese Diplomat Min Lwin, I am both happy and fearful. The last assassination attempt on Aung San Suu Kyi made by the junta on May of 2003 is a grim reminder of what the junta is capable of. The need for tight security should be on everybody’s roster if her release comes to pass. Fact is she should have security provided by an international contingent of security experts since I’m fearful the junta will try to have her whacked again. We must not forget the Burmese military’s involvement in the fateful assassination attempt of May 2003, notably Lt. Col. Than Han, Chairman of the Shwe Bo District Peace and Development Council who directed the massacre on May 25th. Over 100 top NLD officials were beaten to death on that fateful day. Fortunately Aung San Suu Kyi survived this attack, to the chagrin of Than Shwe.

Smiling Lt Col Than Han during assasination attempt
The photo to the right shows Lt Col Than Han smiling during the massacre and assassination attempt of May 30th 2003

The release of the political prisoners is also on the agenda according to reports and this is also a welcome piece of news. But again, I am very guarded since the junta is not known for doing anything truly humanitarian. Their lives would be in danger as well since they would be in the public sector and subject to assassination as well. With gangs on the streets of Burma funded and supported by the junta “civilians” would have free reign to execute assassinations while keeping the junta’s hands clean. Is this a trick to get Aung San Suu Kyi out in the public sector then killed by some civilian loyal to the junta? Or is Than Shwe truly turning a new leaf? One thing is for certain, we must be vigilant regardless of what is said for the lives of Aung San Suu Kyi and the political prisoners are in the balance.

With her and the political prisoners release the next area of discord would be the Constitution of 2008 since it is inherently flawed and totally unconstitutional. What guarantee’s are there that the junta will relinquish power if they loose the elections in 2010? The fact they lost in 1990 then arrested the winners is a grim reminder of what can be expected if and when the NLD wins again. Credibility is a commodity that is in very short supply within the ranks of the elite class that has enslaved Burma. It’s ironic that word of a possible release has not stopped the arrests and incarcerations of opposition. Tortures continue on all political prisoners in Insein and other prisons around the country. Ethnic groups continue to flee by the droves as the Burmese Army continues their 4 cuts campaign as well as their genocide program.

Is this latest news just another ploy to buy more time for the junta as they prepare for this rigged election? Or are both Aung San Suu Kyi and the political prisoners simply a bargaining chip to extort money from the USA? If they are bargaining chips their lives will always be in jeopardy and true democracy will never come to pass. Only time will tell as we enter into a new phase as Burma spins towards 2010. On the other hand, what if Than Shwe actually decided to alter the course of destiny? If that were the case he would secure his place in the afterlife as well as that of his generals provided it was sincere. When it was all said and done and Than Shwe was sincere in altering Burma’s destiny I would be the first to give him accolades. I would write a piece that would honor his decision to allow Burma to live and be prosperous once again. But until then, I will continue to observe the activities within Burma with a judicious and skeptical eye.

    Shwe Dance photo

It would appear that the only beneficiary to all these meetings in Burma will be the caterers. With Daw Aung San Suu Kyi still under house arrest, political prisoners continue to be tortured and increased secret arrests of monks and opposition go unreported. Not much has changed in fact things only got worse according to insiders. On the bright side Than Shwe succeeded in buying critically needed time and fostered pseudo legitimacy for his bogus 2010 Election and regime. The shine of US diplomacy has lost its luster in the public’s eye as another round of Gambari’esk meetings fill news feeds with more false hope. Burma and her patriots remain in bondage. The fact *Kurt Campbell and Scot Marciel will hopefully visit Daw Aung Suu Kyi and opposition leaders separate from the junta delegates nullifies the purpose of the meeting in the first place.

U.S. politicians were sweet talking mass murderers while rescuing John “The Fraud” Yettaw, the man who torpedoed Suu Kyi’s legitimate bid for freedom. There is much speculation about the junta’s true role in this caper. There are eye witnesses to suggest much of the Olympic swimming escapade was fabricated but that’s another story. In the meantime the onslaught continues. The **Free Burma Rangers have reported scores (1,500) of Internally Displaced People (IDP) fleeing into the jungles living only on ancient skills in the latest round of eugenics. Nursing wounds sustained in the numerous attacks, these helpless people have been forced to scavenge in the jungle for sustenance and shelter while keeping vigil for junta death squads. The jungles are peppered with anti personnel mines and field amputations are common place for Free Burma Ranger Surgical Teams. But let’s forget that part and pretend the junta is a legitimate entity in the grad scheme of things. We might as well forgive Hitler’s holocaust and the millions of innocent people who also perished under the watchful of the world’s greatest nations.

The world media has been artificially mum about the continued onslaught of the Karen and other ethnic groups. Feel good political hog wash has filled the air waves with distortions and blatant lies. First hand information from the Free Burma Rangers painted a completely different picture gleaned from the pallet of human suffering. To be a journalist in Burma is to type with the keyboard in front of you and a gun barrel pressed to the back of your head. There are other courageous journalists and news groups though. They share many of the same risks as the Rangers. Only they don’t perform field surgeries with night vision gear behind enemy lines.

With an arsenal of advanced and chemical weaponry, (provided by China, India and North Korea), men of Burmese Army Light Infantry Battalion (LI:) 599, Infantry Battalion (I:) 73 and IB 39 have intensified ethnic cleansing operations. Between October 9-10 mortars rained down in the Nwa Lay Ko, Giblayta and Saw Poe Ta regions as Burmese troops shot their way into the lives of villagers. As we fawned over well intended yet futile misguided engagements death reigned as villagers cried out to an ambivalent world. The bottom line is this, without Aung San Suu Kyi and her delegation at the table with all players, including Than Shwe, there is no legitimacy to the dialogue. The junta does not reflect the will of the Burmese people, not by a long shot. If the world honored the will of the people back in 1990 Than Shwe would have been hanging out in Paris with his wife and a couple retired generals. But alas, it would appear the free world is just as full of green house gasses as the mindless 2008 Constitution, the cornerstone of the 2010 Election.

Than Shwe has murdered his way into Burmese politics violating every tenet of human rights imaginable in his reign. The free world has done nothing but offer sanctions to “most” industries while coddling others who skirt the international mandate. Filled with feel good speeches and broken promises after the election of 1990 the Burmese people take words from the west with a grain of salt but still keep just an inkling of hope. Apparently so does the junta and cohort Kim Jong II of North Korea who already cashed in on the Gullible’s Travel’s of neophyte western diplomacy.

Than Shwe’s astrologers are struggling to plot a new course with the least amount of tribulation but it’s impossible and they know it. The excommunication of Than Shwe and his military has placed him in a new light. Actually this exposed him for what he actually is and it is not Buddhist. Than Shwe is a traitor to his nation and has betrayed the core tenets of his mission as a general, to protect and defend the people of Burma. Religion was only a tool of manipulation and his presents in pagodas have been met with deadly results. Following the path of evil will glean rewards that will last an eternity. By perverting a sacred dogma such as Buddhism he has cursed himself as well as all who chose to follow him into the caldron of retribution.

Than Shwe knows he lied to everybody around him, even his wife. He seeks out soothsayers so they can help him find his path as well as buy him time in their sacred incantations and spells. It is his astrologers who are actually at the reigns of power in Burma and Than Shwe is only their disciple. They know Uncle Than’s days are numbered and are also poised with anticipation for his demise. It is almost laughable that Than Shwe does not have magic of his own and has to borrow it. He draws magic from other dubious sources as well but none of his magic is actually his. And there is no way he can reinvent and mold any religion to justify what he has done to the people of Burma. One thing is for certain; Than Shwe will not be alone and he will share his misery with his staunches supporters whence they cross onto the other side. And they better bring their asbestos toe shoes.

Posted in Asia with tags 2010 Election, Burma, Burmanization, Constitutional Referendum, Than Shwe on October 19, 2009 by buffalohair

Constitution of MyanmarReading Than Shwe’s latest literary disaster, *The Constitution of 2008, you must ask yourself, how far beyond stupid is that? Filled with double speak and thinly veiled power points where the junta retains power it’s as worthless as the new money Than Shwe has begun printing. There is no constitution since it simply gives ultimate power to the junta, pardons or gives amnesty to murders, rapist and criminals against humanity. It’s a get out of jail free card for the most reprehensibly criminally corrupt group of people in Burma’s history. It also whitewashes the industries who’ve continued to violate the international sanctions that were imposed.

The fact he chose to push the ballot initiative at the peak of disaster, Cyclone Nargis, while using extortion and threats of death should have been an eye opener for the world. Forced to reveal who they were and how they voted, the citizens of Burma had few choices. The Constitutional Referendum was gun barrel politics at its best. It was the launch pad for the bogus 2010 Election and it bought worthless dialogue that gleaned no results other than buying Than Shwe the critical time he needed. Like the greatest show on earth, Than Shwe set the stage for yet another academy award winning performance.

Ah but not all is well in Camelot and like a train wreck in slow motion Than Shwe is loosing his magic as generals wait for his ultimate demise. Word is out that Papa Than is going to hand the scepter of power to his kid to the chagrin of his generals. Sadly once Than Shwe dies his reign and spell is finished. With factions at serious odds with one another the issue of his son taking power becomes a non issue with a single gun shot to the head. None of his generals will go for a punk kid dictator, democracy or no democracy. It would not be surprising another constitution suddenly sprang up the day after Than died. It would also become open season on his family and they would be sitting ducks. The names of people who flaunted their association with Than Shwe adorn many hit lists and that’s an understatement. The ones with the longest knives will win the day when vendetta echoes through the ranks. Major divisions between the officer and soldier are terminal at best. With desertions at an all time high it is clear loyalty has become a novelty.

Its open season on NLD members, opposition and monk these days as the junta’s kangaroo courts dole out prison terms equal to death sentences underneath the worlds noses. Rape and genocide continue unabated throughout the ethnic regions. The mass exodus of refugees to centers along the Bangladesh, Thai and Chinese borders should be an indicator. Camps are filling beyond capacity in many regions and shortages of food and medication are rampant. But its business as usual as the world panders to empty gestures, fruitless words and jumps through hoops while Than Shwe quietly commits genocide. The new constitution does not address “Burmanization”. That’s the systematic process by soldiers of raping ethnic woman under Than Shwe’s Moto, “Leave Your Blood”. The constitution does not include ethnic groups. The 2010 Election is nothing more than a stage act and the constitution is just a pointless script filled with rhetoric and contradictions. Generals have the final say lock, stock and tomahawk.

    Shwe Stew

Gen. Than Shwe of Burma has bought time from a metaphysical point of view for many years. He has depended on his astrologers to guide him through life as he reigned in Burma. The move from Rangoon to Naypydaw was under the direction of his astrologers as well as a host of other critical decisions he has made. Time and time again he would follow the guidance of mystics to secure his position of power in Burma. Sacrifices ranged from human to monetary and the list is endless. The magic or medicine, as I call it, is very real and within my tradition It’s common knowledge. But all good things must come to an end and for Than Shwe his number is up from a paranormal point of view. Time to pay your tab Than Shwe.

The signs of his demise are everywhere within Burmese traditions. The blood spilled at three Pagodas was a very critical sign since he tainted these sacred places with his Midis Touch. But the frosting on the cake was when he finally got tossed out of the Buddhist faith as well as his merry band of thugs. The funny part of all this is the fact he used metaphysical means to secure his power but his mystics failed to warn him about the eventual consequences. Nothing is free and there is a price that must be paid. Offerings are nothing more than interest and not payment in full like so many people think. One only borrows time when on Earth. If payment is not paid in full while on Earth, collection agents will be waiting on the “other side”.

Within all dogmas the laws that govern retribution do not waver though the traditions may be completely different. The outcome is always the same, we reap what we sow. The law that govern physics, for every action there is a opposite and complete reaction, is the same universal law. On the streets they say, “What comes around goes around”. Everything comes full circle as we complete the cycles we’ve created. There is no avoiding our eventuality and we must face what we’ve done at some point in life or on the other side. Death is not a reprieve by any means. I know first hand since I had a near death experience. And like Than Shwe I was a stubborn person who did not want to change my ways. But after I was shown the true reality of our existence, I was a believer and there was no way I would ever walk the path of ego and material lusting again. Believe me, I was no cherry on the streets and I’ll be first to admit it. Been there, done that by every stretch of the imagination, capice? Maybe that’s why I can spot political scams a mile away because they are just street crimes but on a grand scale.

Than Shwe is by no means the only person of power who has bought time on Earth. World leaders have dabbled in the metaphysical since time immemorial. Jean Dickson, Edgar Cayce, Ruth Montgomery and many more have received leaders over the years so it’s not just a Than Shwe thing. It’s odd in a way that tribal people would hold fast the knowledge of the supernatural as the main body of societies label it all poppycock. To kings, rulers and presidents the paranormal is something very real to them. As a former bodyguard I watched as my clients would resort to metaphysical means to secure big bucks business deals. And they were movers and shakers. They did not think it was all poppycock and they were bazillionaires while skeptics struggled to find a parking place at the employment office.

At the time I could give a flying crappola what they believed in, I just wanted my pay. Actually, I was being tormented by spirits who just did not like how I was running my ship. Booze and other sundry delights were the only way I could stop them from bugging me especially when I was being less than savory. To this day I still wonder why I was sent back to Earth when there were more deserving people. I was just an angry person with a chip on my shoulder who hated everything except cash, platinum or gold. Being kicked around for the color of my skin when I was a poop butt kid had a lot to do with it I wager.

In any event now we find Generalissimo Than Shwe of Burma who has dabbled in the supernatural. He tapped into the universal powers, making medicine and borrowing time before his demise. Apparently he had no regard for others including his immediate family for when he is finally dead his spell will be broken leaving everyone else holding the bag. Sadly for Than Shwe even in death he will have a major debt to repay and there is no way he can barter his way out of it. Though he fully embraced the world of mysticism he ignored or refused to recognize the most important rules of engagement. He chose to use the medicine without any intention of paying back what he has taken. Nothing is free, even if he skips out on his bill. His debt will follow him to the other side where there is no deal making. That is why it is so important to make amends on Earth before one dies. Oh well, he will soon figure that part out and here is where it gets fun.

One evening I was approached by spirits who accused me of helping Than Shwe. I told them that he was not my favorite person but they insisted I was helping him. I tried to explain my mission but to no avail. Then one spirit told me they wanted him to enter the afterlife without making amends because they were waiting for him. Payment was due and under the terms of his contract he had a debt to settle. This is when spirits filled my bedroom and told what they were going to do to him. From playing around with his entrails to watching his family die horrific deaths Than Shwe was going to enjoy a harvest from the seeds he planted on Earth. But the most impressive thing I was shown was this giant vat. That’s when one of these angry spirits told me Than Shwe was going to be boiled in the blood of his victims for an eternity. I made light of this revelation on my radio show and suggested he pack some onions, garlic and shrimp paste since he was going to be on the menu.

They said his fate would be shared by all who aided him whence they died as well. Their eternity has already been scripted and their fates etched in stone. They may have killed innocent people but the people died once. Gen. Than Shwe and his pals would suffer and die continuously for an eternity. Than Shwe made a very bad business deal since life on Earth was nothing more than a blink of an eye. Life on the other side is forever. Seems the crook was outsmarted by sharper crooks. Everyone who followed the Pied Piper of Burma would also be added to the menu as they boiled for an eternity in the vat of their victim’s blood. All those shiny medals, all those weapons of war and all those hidden bank accounts around the world would be meaningless. He would be a babe in hell striped of everything he once possessed. But on the bright side, he’ll not be alone.

Than Shwe was correct when he said he would not be intimidated by the outside world and he does not have to. But it’s the afterlife he and his crew have everything to be concerned about. I know where he is going and it is befitting that he will be tortured for an eternity. He and his buddies will enjoy everything they dished out on Earth and there is nothing they can do about it. There really is something he could do but his ego will not allow for reasoning. When he is gone from Earth his generals and all who sided with him would have a window of opportunity if they chose to. But like Than Shwe, they will be stubborn I would assume. So my advice to them is, pack some onions, garlic and some shrimp paste because you are going to join Than Shwe in the stew of everlasting suffering, believe it or not. Don’t matter to me since now I can see those spirits point, they don’t want me to disrupt the party and the warm reception they have been preparing for you. And I don’t want to be a party pooper. Bon Appetite.

General Mecchadihtti Than Shwe, A Condemned Man

    Shwe death

With the *All Burma Monks Alliance declaration of the excommunication of Than Shwe, his generals and all soldiers who ally themselves with him at least Than shwe will not be alone in the afterlife. Compounded by what’s been called the Curse of the Three Pagoda’s even his soothsayer’s stand powerless. In fact, his astrologers share the dubious honor of excommunication as Pattanikujjana, (the refusal of accepting offerings by this group of people by turning their bowls over), reigns throughout Burma and the world.

In effect the Tatmadaw, (Burmese Military) has become an enemy of Buddhism severing the only link with Burma as a nation. They are no better than the colonizers who enslaved this nation in the past. But in all reality Buddhism was nothing more than a tool to control the masses. I am still haunted by the rape and butchery of a 5 year old girl whose body was then place in a Buddhist temple like some kind of sacrifice or offering. This is not Buddhism and is more reflective of the rituals performed by followers of Kali, The Dark Mother. So in some convoluted way Than Shwe made it official who he and his legions really are because they surely are not Buddhist, never was and never will. And now they all share Than Shwe’s eternity of unspeakable hells in the afterlife.

Though Than Shwe and his motley crew of thugs, rapists and murders went through the motions of being Buddhist they were only fooling themselves. There are no secrets within the confines of the spirit world and the truth is known by every type of being that walks on the other side. Some are almost rabid with excitement in anticipation of Generalissimo Supermo Mecchadihtti Than Shwe’s arrival and have prepared a very “warm” reception whence he arrives. His revered Tatmadaw also are in for the surprise of their new eternity whence they cross over. Every one of them will have their own personal receptions to look forward to. If they forgot exactly who they murdered, that is not a problem for they will soon be reminded. The spirits of the afterlife have pulled all the stops in preparation of their arrival.
Every nuance of their conduct has been recorded. No details have been overlooked or ignored and soon they will cry out in agony but it will not be short lived as in the case of their innocent victims. They will exist suffering in pain and agony exactly like the people they killed but it will last for an eternity. I see their journey in my visions and I hear the spirits as they giggle with excitement with a hint of revenge in their voices. They say, “We are waiting for you Than Shwe for death is inevitable”. Like the old street adage goes, you can run but you can’t hide and one day soon Than Shwe will scream out in pain as his body is ripped apart over and over again while spirits play with his entrails laughing at his cries for mercy, forever. His crew will face their own horror as their fallow cries go unanswered as they reap what they have sown on Earth for an eternity. Now that they are excommunicated from the Buddhist faith they will be less than alone in the afterlife. They will enjoy their own personal hells for they condemned themselves in the high court of humanity. It is a befitting fate since the universal law of retribution is just and always gets their man. And Kali, The Dark Mother, will be waiting.

    Why I Fight For Burma
Posted in Reflets Sombres with tags Burma, genocide, Holocaust, Humanity, Native American on October 8, 2009 by buffalohair

    Me

    Mingalaba!

    I’ve been asked why
I’ve decided to take a stand for the peop...le of Burma. I pondered this
question for a moment then I explained exactly why.

    A little over 150
years ago my people along with the rest of the Indigenous population of
the United States of America were under siege. With the pseudo
religious axiom of Manifest Destiny the US Government declared war on
us allowing for the wholesale murder of our sovereign nations. From the
land of the Lenapi, Lakota, Cheyenne, Apache and a multitude of other
noble tribes we were hunted down like animals.

    We were hunted down,
tortured raped and murdered in the secret holocaust that killed
millions of my brothers and sister in this hellish bloodbath. Children
were raped and cut to ribbons while pregnant women had babies carved
out of their bellies while U.S. Soldiers laughed and joked. Civilians
were offered rewards for our scalps while soldiers paraded through
their towns with human body parts ornamenting their ponies and
uniforms. And the media pumped the papers full of lies to fostered
support for the genocide of those “pesky savages”.

    Lusting for the
funny yellow medal that makes the white man crazy, soldiers under the
stewardship of General George Armstrong Custer they invaded tribal land
that was promised by treaties. The Black Hills became a killing field
as well as the rest of Indian Country. Screams of agony echoed
throughout the land while anyone who could carry a rifle shot innocent
men women and children in their slept, as they ate or hunted. Even on
territory promised to tribes in the waning years of the holocaust such
as Oklahoma the land was opened up to settlers in the most criminal
acts of land theft in U.S. history. People were murdered in clod blood
by settlers who brought wagons and built farms and communities with no
    regard for treaties.

    Rivers ran with the
blood of my people as the land grab continued. Manifest Destiny was
their divine right to take what they wanted even though the land was
promised to us. Eventually many of our nations ceased to exist and
their histories ripped from history books. They could not take away our
oral tradition and we remember what they have done to us and the myriad
of tribes that disappeared from the face of this Earth. All that
remained of these tribes were names in a subdivision street or ally.
The countryside was filled with mass graves where the Cavalry buried
our slaughtered people, out of sight and out of mine. Many events were
never recorded or the facts skewed to justify our demise.

    The once bountiful
buffalo was all but exterminated in part to destroy our food supply and
to introduce their tasteless fat laden cow from English cattle barons.
Herds used to span as far as the eye could see. Eye witness accounts
told of trains stopped for over a day as herds many miles wild and
untold miles long would cross the railroad track. Photos of these so
called great buffalo hunters sitting on gigantic piles of carcasses
adorn museums to this day. Speaking about the railroad, people would
ride the train and take pot shots for sport at Indians who were simply
watching the locomotive roll through they land. People would wager who
would shoot the most “savages” on a trip killing fathers, mothers and
    children in their wake.

    To add insult to
injury we were victims of biological warfare with cholera infested
blankets that were distributed to our people on the paltry reservations
they finally gave us. The locations were wind driven with no game or a
means to survive the cold bitter months. Rancid and putrefied food was
distributed to us while greedy brokers kept the good. And the whole
world looked on with ambivalence and distain as the media masters
pumped out lies after lies with their tabloids raising even more
negative press against us. Only after the advent of the 20th Century
did the U.S. Government stop a program of rewarding people with $900
for Indian skulls robbed from our graves Government anthropologists
were feverishly trying to prove we were sub human. This is only a tiny
glimpse of the stories that abound with much more gruesome tales of
genocide, betrayal and survival against all odds. All that remains is a
fraction of the Indigenous populations who once lived on this land. The
few buffalo that survived are relegated to ranches never to roam the
    plains again.

    My uncle once told
me that we are related to the coyote since no matter how hard the white
man tried to kill us off we still returned. The shooting has stopped
for the most part. We are relegated to reservations and in many cases
still struggle to survive. But we are still here, witnesses to mans
greed and the wholesale slaughter of innocent men women and children.
It was one of the greatest acts of genocide in world history. From the
tip of Alaska to the tip of South America untold millions of Natives
were slaughtered in cold blood by Europeans hunting for gold, land and
a multitude of natural resources. In the south the genocide continues
throughout Central and South America for gold, oil and other natural
resources. So I guess I should feel fortunate living in relative
safety, but I’m not so inclined.

    When I first met a
Karen villager I was curious about their culture so I queried through
my interpreter Madam Butterfly. I was taken back by what I heard
because it was a carbon copy of what happened to our people in the
Americas. The ghoulish and barbaric details brought tears to my eyes
because I saw my own relations in these soft spoken tribal people. I
was introduced to the political exiles that spent their young years in
Insein prison. They were tortured and beaten to till they did not move
on a daily basis for the crime of wanting freedom and democracy. An
elder told me an ancient story about 7 fabled brothers within their
Asian tradition. Then I was told that I and all the Natives of the
Americas were descendants of the eldest brother, (Shaun htoi Gam). It
was a very intriguing yet humbling story.

    As I looked into the
eyes of their children I could see my cousins, nieces and my beloved
sister who I used to call the Chinaman because of her pronounced Asian
features. That’s when I decided to take up this cause and make the
world aware of the atrocities that befell these innocent and kind
people. The eldest brother has come back home to help his people.

    A lot of water has
passed under the bridge of life and I’ve traveled many miles since that
fateful day. With a wealth of resources including intelligence and
advanced technology at my disposal I’ve taken up the cause with a
vengeance. Whether they are Kachin, Mon, Karen, Wa, Rvwang or the
multitude of tribes who face extinction they are my people. I will
utilize my resources in both Asia and the free world to accomplish the
common goal, freedom from bondage. I have many aces up my sleeve and
some spooky little friends who are already in the trenches fighting for
Burma’s democracy. One day I will be drinking tea at a quaint little
café with my brother Myo Thein in Rangoon City. Daw Aung San Suu Kyi
will be dedicating a new hospital down the street. I can smell the nga
pi wafting in the air now.

    Shwe and Prisoners

The “Big Three” Russia, China and India joined ranks with the world in demanding Daw Aung Suu Kyi and political prisoners be released. At the same time the junta sent a liaison (Aung Kyi) to open discussions with Aung Suu Kyi as well. In a perfect world this would be wonderful news but since it’s not, I refrain from to much jubilation. Call me the eternal skeptic but over the years I’ve become very jaded by potentially promising events. There is no question having the Big Three onboard with the rest of the world has raised the stakes indeed.

Speculation abounds as to the direction Than Shwe may choose to go at this juncture. Ham strung by alliances with ethnic ceasefire groups China has grown distant causing alarm within the ranks of Burma’s generals. India, with growing investments in Burma and the UK, also finds themselves in a precarious position. Then there is Mother Russia’s involvement in the junta’s nuclear program and other technologies. Personally I don’t really think Putin and the boys care one way or the other. Russia does not have the Achilles Tendon of corporate interests like the other two nations. And they could give a flying crappola about what anyone thinks. But none the less they are onboard and that’s a good thing.

Will Than Shwe alienate himself from his staunches allies, only time will tell. But if he uses the chemical weaponry he is placing along the Chinese border at this time he might discover exactly how entrenched these ethnic groups are with China. Not so optimistic about the situation along her border, China has already begun to build refugee centers. They will need decontamination equipment as well. Growing U.S. investments within China’s borders have also skewed the works do to the growing dependence on western technology and consumers. Public opinion and the consumer dollar have become a concern. Allying themselves with a dictator who uses rape, torture and genocide has become an issue never before considered. This fact has also given rise for concerns of India’s investments and involvement in Burma.

The notion the 2010 Election was legitimate by any stretch of the word was ridicules from the onset. Using the new constitution as a back drop for the election only magnified the absurdity of this sham election as a whole. I still ask why the original election results of 1990 were not honored by the rest of the world in the first place. The John William Yettaw debacle and the continued internment of Daw Aung Suu Kyi only placed Burma under the microscope. The worldwide outrage was unprecedented and it was not just from diplomatic circles. A campaign by democracy groups renewed aware of Burma’s plight and bore fruit since Burma has become a household word throughout the globe. The general public has plied out her inner most secrets evolving more outrage and more questions like never before. Politicians find themselves walking on egg shells around their electorate as an educated public asks why. And to the dismay of the Big Three, it opened a Pandora’s Box in their back yards that will not be closed any time soon. If Than Shwe orchestrated the Yettaw incident he only shot himself in the foot and fostered what many believe is the beginning of the end.

Are we being duped by yet another elaborate scheme to stall until the election? Time is the task master at this juncture, there is no question. Only when Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and the political prisoners are released and open dialogue is established with Aung San Suu Kyi at the table will I be convinced real steps are being made. Anything else will be just another fraud for there is no compromise. Aung San Suu Kyi must be at all high level meetings for them to be valid by any stretch of the word. The final nail in Than Shwe’s coffin of credibility will be if he chooses to move the 2010 Election to December of 09. With a track record of not honoring election results, what’s the point anyway?

The ball is in Than Shwe’s court and he has a golden opportunity to change the course of Burma’s history in a good and prosperous way. He could show face and bring back honor to this beleaguered nation. But if he chooses to continue this game of deception and death his will plunge Burma into a financial black hole like they never seen before because it’s all about the money Paisan. Than Shwe and his government has become a liability for his allies in the grand scheme of things and that’s the long and the short of it. With death at Than Shwe’s door his reign will soon come to a close. No matter how many times he shuffles his generals around the next leadership will more than likely opt for a more progressive Burma anyway.

I sit at the news desk skeptical as ever though a little bit more hopeful. But I’m not about to break out the tea leaf salad as of yet. Actions speak louder than words and so far people are still being systematically arrested and murdered in advance of the election. Aung San Suu Kyi and her crew are still locked up. Than Shwe is going to visit the regions hit by Cyclone Nargis this week. Is this another photo op to make him look like a humanitarian? If he opens up the coffers, actually helps all the homeless people and my sources verify it, I’ll be impressed. Until then, I will sit in the sidelines and observe the festivities with a discerning eye. And sitting in the bleachers with me will be Russia, China and India.
