Have We Forgotten Tribal politics aside the situation in Concho is a very human crisis. On one side there is a tribal governor who consistently ignored many of his own constituents. On the other side are the elderly who took a major hit by Darrel Flyingman over the course of his tenure. In the case of my village the elderly were left to fend for themselves since funding for their only hot meal a day stopped. Other types of aid were also canceled with little or no notice as well. I personally know this for a fact since I was supporting some of my people in the interim on the assumption assistance would eventually come to my relations. I also funded meals for my elders with the same assumption. The only response to our needy from Flyingman was the sound of Gary Owen echoing across the grasslands.
Eventually the proverbial well went dry as the economy assisted in draining my finances. Sadly no assistance ever came to my relations. Homes that were scheduled for repair were simply stopped. Tarps remained on roofs to keep the rain and snow out during the harsh Oklahoma winters. I’ve witnessed with my own eyes as my family struggled to find the basics to feed our nieces and nephews while trying to make ends meet. I would do all I could to ease the suffering but the magnitude of neglect my people had to endure was overwhelming and beyond my financial capability. I still felt guilty for not being able to contribute more especially when I look into the faces those chubby cheek babies.
Why did these human beings have to endure such ambivalence while others lived in the lap of luxury? How could anyone be so callous as to simply ignore people from their own tribe? At the very least the US Cavalry gave the people flour and grease to weather the winter months. It boggles the imagination to think that someone could be so cruel to their own people. The politics behind such tyranny simply does not fit into this equation for we all are descendants of survivors of genocide. But what is most striking about this event is the over riding fact the US government has encroached on the sovereignty of this nation. Flyingman managed to side with outsiders in an attempt to regain control so he could finish robbing the coffers of the tribe. In a correction to the previous news report it was not the US Supreme Court Justice who granted Flyingman access to tribal funds and business. It was other usual government entities who willfully ignored the will and the traditions of the people by their obvious support of Flyingman. Is Flyingman a traitor to his people? That is up to the folks back in Oklahoma to decide but it is obvious he chose to use the power of the US Government to force his will on these humble people at the expense of tribal sovereignty. Invoking the powers of the federal government over tribal law can be viewed as treason in many opinions. My relations call him Veho.
The issue that needs addressing is this nation’s sovereignty as well as the sovereignty of all tribes. Flyingman opened up a can of worms with his total disregard for the will of his people. Are we to expect the feds to march into any rez when there is an election that booted a corrupt politician? Frankly the USA has shown itself to be poor stewards of the ballot box with the Iraq’s hopelessly corrupt politicians which the US backed. President Zelaya of Honduras was ousted from power with little more than an impotent condemnation. It should be noted he was a favorite of the Indigenous people over industrialists who robbed land from the natives and murdered their chiefs. Burma is another classic failure of the US to recognize the duly elected officials in the case of Daw Aung Suu Kyi. Now this beleaguered nation is about to have another election regardless of the fact the people voted for democracy overwhelmingly. The US simply became an enabler of a corrupt military dictator (Gen. Than Shwe) who continues to murder the ethnic minorities within his nation. Gen. Than Shwe is Asia’s version of Gen. George Armstrong Custer for his soldiers rape and murder ethnics at their leisure while the free world looks on. Dare I mention that these villagers are being murdered for the natural resources that lay on their tribal land? To the joy of international corporations I might add. Sounds familiar eh.
With a multitude of articles promoting a new policy dealing with the Indigenous population of America I fear that ultimately sovereignty will be on the chopping block in the near future. Just so you know, with the arrival of the new world order we all will loose our sovereignty regardless of treaties and national boundaries. Under the guidelines of these economic unions that are popping up around the world there is a clause that allows any nation or industry to go into sovereign soil and glean natural resources. The European Union and our NAFTA are to the benefit of international corporations not the nations who subscribe to this global initiative. The Indigenous populations are of absolutely no concern. Globalization is colonization and as we all know the Indigenous populations of the America’s were colonized hundreds of years ago. We are told that we must forgive the history of the past and to move forward but it is hard to forgive when we are still under siege.
Flyingman is only a microcosm of the cancer that is raging around the America’s and the world. Traditional people are placed in a position of ridicule in some cases while others are simply overlooked and live in abject poverty. Tribal officials drive around in Town Cars and Navigators while their electorates scrounge for spare change to buy Duct Tape. Those are the lucky ones since throughout Central and South America tribal people are murdered if they stand in the way of corrupt politicians. Africa is another holocaust in motion. It’s a pandemic of greed that has changed the landscape not only in Indian Country but around the world. And if for one second you believe that world politics is of no concern to Indian Country you are sorely mistaken. The culture of greed is a global initiative and we as Indigenous people and our sovereignty are on the chopping block.

MAYBE YOU CAN HELP ME WITH MY SENIORS August 04, 2007 8:53 AM
MAYBE YOU CAN HELP ME WITH MY SENIORS
As many of you know, I hale from a little village called Hammon Oklahoma. It’s also called “The Red Moon Agency” a sub-agency of the Darlington Agency, and named after Chief Red Moon. My people are very traditional in every sense of the word. We call this “The Last Stronghold” for we are still under attack in many ways.. It’s the dark side of tribal existence and I know other fellow Native’s know what I’m talking about, it’s our sad secret.
But there are innocent victims of this war of attrition and ambivalence and that’s the 40 or so senior citizens of my village. Well, to cut to the chase, I’ve been personally paying for all my seniors’ meals for the last 6 months. I adopted all the elderly of my village. So they are all my grandmothers and grandfathers. Somehow in the matrix of politics our center has been without funding and my elders have gone without their daily meals. In most cases these elderly people only get one hot meal a day since our village is so impoverished.
I only discovered this situation when my aunt, who is on a walker, was making her way to another relatives home one day. I asked my aunty why she was “strolling” down the street. She would not tell me at first but then she broke down and told me. You have to realize these elderly people are a very proud people. In fact, they are the direct descendants of the survivors of the Sand Creek Massacre, conducted by Chivington and ultimately the Washita Massacre conducted by Custer who was sent to finish us off. Sadly Chief Black Kettle was finally killed and so were most of my ancestors.
My aunt was ashamed to tell me that they have not received hot meals for months. And that all our elderly were going from house to house getting meals. That was for the fortunate ones who were not invalid and bed ridden. I could not understand why she was ashamed to tell me though. So to retain their dignity, I adopted all our seniors and have been paying out of pocket for the last 6 months. Well, I’ve tapped into my production development funds now and I simply can’t afford to pay much more, so I need your help.
Since the Senior Center in Hammon is a multi-racial one. I’ve decided to adopt the non-Natives who depend on these hot meals as well. Why?? That’s a no brainer eh. The non-Natives are the descendants of the good White folks at Fort Supply and other places who hide my people from Custer’s troops who were scouring the countryside executing the stragglers. Remember “knits make lice” and Custer cutting out babies from the mothers womb? It was a most brutal part of history that does not seem to make all the history books. Custer also executed White people who harbored any Natives, another piece of dark history. It might not be a big disaster but to us, “It’s our Holocaust”. If it were not for these beautiful White folks who truly were heroes in our eyes, we would not be here. So I must honor them and their ancestors as well.
I’ve contacted the City Manager of Hammon, Shirley Walker, a very nice and caring non-Native woman. I told her of my plan to generate funding for the Senior Center in our village since this is in her jurisdiction. She told me she has the tax info for others who would adopt our elderly, the “502. Whatever”
So if you can, give me a hand with this situation.
I named the fund after my family:
WHITE EAGLE-BULLCOMING UP SENIORS FUND
BOX 218
HAMMON, OKLAHOMA
73650
ATTENTION:
SHIRLEY WALKER, City Manager
580.473.2281
Just tell Shirley you heard about it from “That Big Injun Dude”
Believe me, she will know who you’re talking about since I champion many other causes for my people.
It’s not a big village but it’s all I have and to us it’s a catastrophe of cataclysmic proportions. We love and honor our seniors and basically, our village is very impoverished. And well, my people look to me for solutions and this is what I came up with. I just don’t have enough money to pull it off anymore or I would not ask you in the first place. Maybe after I win an Oscar I’ll have the dough-ray-me, but for now its commode cheese and green beans for this film maker.

Nothing like getting a call from home only to discover that corruption has taken a nasty toll on your elders. That is what happened with me the other day when my cousin called and described what I thought to be the most reprehensible act of government meddling in tribal affairs. Imagine having an election where clearly a person was voted out of office only to discover the Supreme Court has decided to side with the looser. In this case the person was hopelessly corrupt, Darryl Flyingman of the Southern Cheyenne Arapaho Nation.
I know first hand about all the lack of care for my elders for this person canceled hot meals for the elderly as well as other critical aid for my clan as well as our village. This was the case across our rez as this person played favorites at the expense of our elderly and the suffering. I personally was paying for meals for my elders since the tribal government had ignored my village on more than one occasion. My other cousin with a big family was constantly denied aid and assistance for his kids forcing him to scrounge to survive. But on our own rez? Flyingman along with his select crew always pointed aid in the other direction. It was unbelievable that my cuz would be forced to come up with proof he was a tribal member by people he was blood related to. This was nothing more than an excuse not to give him aid.
What really torques my shorts is the fact this Flyingman refused to relinquish his position as chief even though the tribe voted him out of office. My elders went down to Concho Oklahoma to complain when they were forced to turn around at Cherokee. It is unclear if they were forced off the tribal bus or that they were told to turn around. The news is just breaking as of this writing and I was just informed that Dennis Banks, Russell Means and the Crazy Dog Society from Lame Deer were heading down later this morning in a show of solidarity for our plight. With CNN heading down as well I hope the issue of sovereignty is addressed since I believe the Supreme Court over stepped its authority. And if they get away with this they will pull the same crappola on other reservations.
One thing is for certain, there will be a peaceful demonstration held at Concho today (Nov 20) and the world wide press will be there to cover this event. Senior citizens from my village will be there so I can only pray they will not be ruffed up by this corrupt and morally bankrupt politician and his goons. Hopefully with the press there things will not go violent hurting my elders. But what was the Supreme Court thinking anyway? With what authority did they have to cancel legal election results from a sovereign nation? Truly this is an abuse of the bench and should raise some major questions about the ethics of the court. It’s been long since rumored that Flyingman had this federal judge in his pocket for quite some time.
Is this change we can depend on or more of the same old crappola from the non Native community? Why is it that the government would rather do business with corrupt and shady criminals rather than the traditional folks in the first place? This is more common than not in Indian Country and maybe this will offer more focus on the plight of us and other tribal nations across the US. Canada shares in this travesty as well I might add. The have’s continue to have while the have not’s continue to live in abject poverty. The outside world makes nice with examples from people who have all the loot saying all is well in Indian Country when in actuality it is not. There is greed and abject poverty on many nations and it is perpetrated by corrupt officials such as Flyingman. At least this dark secret of tribal life is out in the open now. But to be fair, not all tribes suffer this kind of corruption and there are honest and moral chiefs who actually do the bidding of their respective nations. Sadly this is not the case on my rez though.
With regard to “Turkey Day” my cousin had a more appropriate title for the coming holiday, he simply calls it, “Dog Day” since we will theoretically eat dog again for the holiday season since tribal funds were squandered leaving our village with only the dogs on the streets to munch on. Thanks Giving? Forget about it since what do we have to be thankful for? A US Government who sides with corruption? Oh boy. In any event I will have a blow by blow accounting from my people later on today. Hopefully peace will rein on my rez but truthfully I fear things will get much worse before they get any better. Hey Obama, how about fighting for human rights here in Oklahoma?

Don Brown Picture
As astronomers and star gazers watched the waning moments of the spectacular Leonid meteor shower at about 12 midnight November 17th the sky was ablaze as an *asteroid of some kind flew into Earths atmosphere. Then it exploded shaking the earth and turning the night into day according to witnesses. In its wake it left a twisting electric-blue cloud that was still visible at dawn 6 hours after the explosion. The phenomenon was witnessed in a tri state area including Colorado, Utah and Idaho. It was estimated the explosion was the equivalent of 1 kiloton of TNT according to members of the scientific community.
While all this was going on, I was in my jammies snuggled up next to my dog, Bear. So if that asteroid decided to make its way all the way down to the Earth I would have pulverized and blasted me to smithereens. 1 kiloton of TNT would have disrupted traffic on the Hollywood Freeway and left many Los Angelinos in the same boat as I if it landed in an urban setting. After all that’s about 1,000 tons of TNT, the equivalent of a small nuclear bomb. In any event contact with the Earth would have devastated any community on the planet.
Makes one wonder about those inscriptions etched on stones across the globe by the ancients. Medieval art has already portrayed shooting stars and alien ships in the skies over Europe. Oral traditions speak of fire from the skies during the time of change. Some people keep saying that it’s the end of the Earth but from a traditional point of view, it’s only the end of a cycle. There is no question that all dogmas speak of a variety of ways the Earth will change. For my people the change will come in a variety of ways since the elements of the four directions would be leading the way. The fire in the sky routine will be an added attraction as mankind witness’s events never known to exist from a scientific perspective. In reality science will soon discover how primitive our science really is. Maybe if the Europeans did not burn down the libraries of the Maya destroying millions of codices they would have gained more knowledge of the cosmos. Possibly they would have known what lay in store for humanity. Then again, maybe they did and that is why select groups are Japan 1803hording wealth and building underground shelters around the planet.
There is no one event that will alter man’s destiny but a multitude of events and they will vary in their magnitude and ferocity. Some will undoubtedly be catastrophic events with international overtones while others will simply destroy regions within nations. For all intents and purposes the media and politicians will have to concede that something is afoot that is completely out of man’s control. The Earth is poised for radical change on many plains. With heightened volcanic activity along a 40,000 mile long crack in the Earths crusty it is obvious Ma Earth has plans that do not coincide with man’s agenda. And there is no price tag man can place to alter the totality of change we will soon undergo in the coming years. It’s a foolish notion at best that mankind can buy their way out of the cycle of change though.
As for the fire ball in the western skies it has raised more questions than answers as researchers try to discover exactly what it was as well as explain the ring of smoke that lingered in the morning sky. Apparently no one saw it coming and that was a bit worrisome. But now scientists are trying to configure it’s trajectory to determine where the debris field might be. Let the games begin as we enter into a new phase of Earth Changes and personally I am glad. Change is overdue since mankind has lost sight of what was really important in life. Greed and material lusting has turned nations into petty Oligarchy’s writhe with hatred and deception.
Whether I survive the changes or not is of no consequence to me for I know where I will go whence I leave this plain. I will continue my journey when I am free from the bonds of this world for life is but a moment in the grand scheme of things. The meek shall inherit the Earth they say. What an adventure it will be to forge a new beginning for mankind though. It will be like resetting the proverbial clock for humanity. For those who believe it will be the end of the Earth I don’t know what to tell you other than possibly it will be the end of the Earth, for you anyway. In the meantime I will sit with my cousin on our lawn chairs sipping ice tea and eating moose meat jerky while gazing at the stars hoping to catch a glimpse of the greatest show on Earth, the time of change.

While rumors fly about the possible release of Aung San Suu Kyi and the political prisoners the junta continues its arrests and secret incarcerations. Murder and rape continue as the secret war on ethnic minorities continues with greater zeal than ever. The junta stepped up its campaign of *kidnapping children for military service. In fact reports have identified 112 children in Pegu Division alone where parents had the courage to report this heinous crime.
Children were literally taken of the streets by soldiers on their way home from schools or anywhere in public with regard for their families. Insiders tell of threats to death by soldiers to grieving parents and in some cases the parents were murdered to eliminate witnesses. For the parents who’ve held their ground and reported these crimes as well as the International Labour Organization (ILO) in Rangoon City, their fates are still pending. According to a report in the Irrawaddy they could not make contact with officials of the ILO. Knowing how the junta works there is no doubt reporting parents as well as the ILO will soon face harsh penalties for lodging concerns for the whereabouts of their kids.
Enter the United Nations Security Council Working Group on Children and Armed Conflict (SCWG) and their feel good report (October) on the junta’s progress in screening children from their ranks. Either the United Nations is totally incompetent or they are sugar coating the reality of the juntas use of kids in the military for nothing could be further than the truth. Likened to nothing more than a photo-op moment or theatrical performance, a hand full of children have been “discovered” in the ranks of the military. They were released to parents with great fanfare while thousands of child soldiers go undetected by the rest of the world. The junta’s façade of morality and reform is nothing more than a great lie.
Child soldiers have defected from all regions within Burma telling of sexual abuse by officers and soldiers. Other kids have identified chemical and biological weaponry they were forced to handle on numerous military actions throughout the ethnic regions. These courageous children told in great detail how the children were kidnapped and forced into the military or their parents would be killed. Some witnessed their parents being butchered alive by troops in order to keep the kids loyal to the junta. Since they are slaves for all intents and purposes of the military they were used to clear out mine fields so as not to expend the lives of Burman soldiers. Like calves to slaughter children have become the grease that lubes the military with cheap labor and suicide missions for they are expendable. I still remember how several generals joked about the abundance of orphaned children after Cyclone Nargis and the bounty of “child recruits”. Young girls were used as sexual favors and in many cases their mutilated bodies were left in the jungles to rot or sold into Thailand’s burgeoning sex slave markets. It was purely disgusting to learn the “cute” boys would be the favor of officers for sexual use while the strong and fit were used to sweep minefields and work in the most hazardous duties within the military. And this is the regime we the free world want to vindicate and qualify as a legitimate government in the 2010 election.
Talk is cheap as the world conducts summits and sends their politicians on “fact finding” missions to “discover” what is actually happening in Burma. With over 500,000 refugees around the world it is obvious to me there are plenty of eye witness accounts these politicians could have listened to. I personally find all these feel good missions useless as the world panders to Than Shwe’s distractions while he buys time for the bogus election. It should be clear that the fate of Burma rests within the people and not from the impotent outside world. The media that is owned by the corporations who continue to sideline sanctions has failed the Burmese people time and time again. Politicians only offer more rhetoric and lip service as Burma continues to live in its personal hell. The fact Than Shwe fudged the figures of oil and gas profits is a clear indicator he has been laundering money for all the foreign corporations who continue to do business in Burma. They in turn report a grossly smaller figure to their respective nations while pocketing billions and possible trillions in laundered profits.
With the new axiom of money over morality the child soldier issues are paltry at best since it stands in the way of the corporate bottom line. China, Korea, USA, England and France enjoy profits from the exploitation of Burma in spite of “sanctions”. The list of corporations invested in Burma read like a who’s who in Than Shwe’s money laundering operation. This also opens up a can of worms about all world wide corporate ventures where they buy off tin horn dictators. How many other countries are laundering profits for these international corporations? I venture to say most of them since continent after continent where these corporate thugs are doing business are engaged in some type of suppression of the indigenous populations. Africa and the America’s are engaged in a secret war against ethnic minorities with blood being spilled as of this writing. We should not forget China’s continued assault on their indigenous populations. And where is the media though all this, making nice with tyranny and spreading lies about the ethnic minorities who are crying for help.
Let Burma be a lesson not learned by so called civilized nations for they are about to taste a new type of tyranny called globalization and the colonization of the planet. In all earnest man can not stop this cycle of greed for this is a part of prophecy and it was meant to be. Nature will have the final say while the intangible aspects of our reality come into focus as this cycle comes to a close and this is inevitable as well. Like they say, it is darkest before the dawn and we’ve entered the darkest period in world history, the new world order.

Swine Shwe Flu
The Swine Shwe Flu raged across Sri Lanka this week as Gen, Than Shwe of Burma darkened the halls of Buddhist temples this week in spite of the fact he was excommunicated from the faith. Possibly the Sri Lanka government was not aware of the caustic situation with Buddhism within Burma. But knowing Burmese refugees were treated like animals with reports of them being burned by cigarettes by Sri Lankan authorities it’s unlikely. With Sri Lankan authorities embracing Than Shwe it’s all too apparent this government was infected with the Swine Shwe Flu.
Unchecked this disease has infected the once honorable ranks of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and from all indications the *US delegation has shown signs of this disease. Cambodia will soon succumb to this virus since their leadership has embraced Thaksin Shinawattra the fugitive from justice who betrayed Thailand for corporate money. Thaksin is posterior smooching chums of Than Shwe and has disgraced the role of Prime Minister during his tenure in Thailand. You would think Cambodia learned her lesion over the Pol Pot fiasco. Small wonder they will soon feel the wrath of their decision by repeating the mistakes of the past.
With the US dropping the most basic conditions of reconciliation within Burma (Release of Aung San Suu Kyi, Release of all political prisoners, Review bogus constitution) these so called progressive meetings are totally worthless. In fact these talks are nothing more than a photo op moment to appease the G*D’s of greed and corruption. The face of international corporatism better know as globalization is beginning to emerge in Asia as their leadership panders to the lucrative desires of industries and stock holder, not China or the US as reported. Their citizens will soon enjoy living in additional tyranny as Asia spirals out of control. Sadly these events will only foster revolts across the Asian landscape crippling the economies as Swine Shwe Flu spreads across budding democracies. China is on the brink of revolution in spite of all the feel good reports about her economy. With natural disasters already spreading throughout China’s landscape it’s only a matter of time and like dominos the rest of Asia will follow suite. This is a given and there is no altering what will soon come to pass.
In visions it was said western businessmen will be dragged through the streets by angry mobs of the suppressed while impotent western governments looked on with horror. It will be a direct reflection of what is happening today in Angola with the Chinese population since they are under siege as of this writing. The mainstream media called the perpetrators of this siege the mafia but they fail to mention how the Chinese turned the indigenous population of Angola into second class citizens. The Uyghur people of Turkestan have suffered a similar intrusion by China and have revolted. Though the media has stopped reporting the news about the Uyghur their suppression continues. The Falun Gong continues to be used as cattle for harvest for organ “donations” as well as filling the ranks of China’s Gulag System. We’ve all but forgotten about the plight of the Tibetan people in favor of cheaper prices for flawed Chinese goods. How far beyond stupid is that?
The magnitude of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s posturing of economy over human rights is only beginning to show its ugly head. As you well know, it was her hopelessly corrupt husband Bill who gave American industries to China as well as widening the trade deficit. The media has failed to report what the indigenous populations of Haiti thought when Bill and the UN marched into their country with more World Trade rhetoric and 10 more international industries. The people likened this to “more sweat shops” since it was the textile industry that has encroached on this nation. Africa lay in ruins and the positive press from this beleaguered continent does not reflect the views of the vast majority of the populations. It’s all about the money and international corporate greed as natural resources are stolen.
Barrick Gold, with their personal army, murders African citizens with the blessings of corporations and the tin horn dictators with barely a peep from the press. With good reason too, Barrick is one of the largest contributors of Bill Clinton’s “non profit” organization. It is money laundering at its best. Ironically Barrick has laid siege in both North and South America through it’s subsidiaries as well. Other mining interest have followed suite as Indigenous people throughout Central and South America are murdered in secrecy to steal their tribal land. With the mainstream media owned part and parcel by international corporations it is obvious all of mankind is under siege as a hand full of criminals colonize the planet through the corrupt politicians they have purchased around the world.
We made our bed and now we will lay in the cesspool of international corporate greed. Our ambivalence to the cries of the people of Burma will be rewarded since we failed to stop the spread of the Swine Shwe Flu in Asia. Sadly and most predictably we’ve planted the seed of war around the world and this will also come to pass as pandemonium spreads across the globe. What international corporations thought was a fat hog to slice will be a Pandora’s Box they never bargained for. Cutting off the nose to spite their face or simply biting of the hand of the ones who fed them, corporatists languish in the lap of luxury but will discover their axiom of greed was woefully miscalculated. Factors in their equation that have been forgotten or ignored will come back to haunt them as the dark side of the Swine Shwe Flu takes its toll.
Room at the top of this elaborate pyramid scheme will be scarce as the true culprits rise above all their one time allies and partners in crime. And it will be the in fighting of the greedy that will ultimately be their demise. There is no room at the top for everyone who has sold their nations for the corporate dollar as the betrayers become the betrayed. A kingdom founded on lies will perish from the very lies they fostered but nature will have the final say in this equation. There is no dollar figure that will stop the wave of disasters that have already begun across the globe. Money will become worthless as economies falter in the wake of these crumbling empires and this will occur in a matter of days according to visions. We will soon reach the pinnacle of greed via a new world order as mankind arrives at the gates of tyranny.
Enter the intangible aspects of life modern man has ignored and you will soon discover these intangible factors will far outweigh what we thought was important. The corporate bottom line will be replaced with the need to find drinking water, sustenance and shelter. Like the thieves in the night nature is already counting coup while politicians and corporatists find a way to glean a handsome profit by pending natural disasters. Nothing man can muster will alter the course of nature’s wrath. It is simply stupid to consider that buying “carbon credits” will save anything in nature but it will assist in someone’s corporate bottom line. How can mankind buy their way into environmental solvency in the first place? Please explain the science of moving pollution to third world nations. Aren’t we still on the same planet? What is gained by this other than finding cheaper labor with no environmental restrictions? We are still polluting the Earth and that is the bottom line. In any event, it will be nature that will have the final say in the destiny of mankind and that was prophecies by the survivors of the last Ice Age thousands of years ago. Like the old ones say, “The greedy will die of starvation in their sleep while using a sack of pinto beans as a pillow”
The latest plague to hit the planet is the Swine Shwe Flu. This will be the death nil of the contemporary era for there is no cure other than death.

With news *Daw Aung San Suu Kyi may be released to organize her party for the pending election by Senior Burmese Diplomat Min Lwin, I am both happy and fearful. The last assassination attempt on Aung San Suu Kyi made by the junta on May of 2003 is a grim reminder of what the junta is capable of. The need for tight security should be on everybody’s roster if her release comes to pass. Fact is she should have security provided by an international contingent of security experts since I’m fearful the junta will try to have her whacked again. We must not forget the Burmese military’s involvement in the fateful assassination attempt of May 2003, notably Lt. Col. Than Han, Chairman of the Shwe Bo District Peace and Development Council who directed the massacre on May 25th. Over 100 top NLD officials were beaten to death on that fateful day. Fortunately Aung San Suu Kyi survived this attack, to the chagrin of Than Shwe.

The photo to the right shows Lt Col Than Han smiling during the massacre and assassination attempt of May 30th 2003
The release of the political prisoners is also on the agenda according to reports and this is also a welcome piece of news. But again, I am very guarded since the junta is not known for doing anything truly humanitarian. Their lives would be in danger as well since they would be in the public sector and subject to assassination as well. With gangs on the streets of Burma funded and supported by the junta “civilians” would have free reign to execute assassinations while keeping the junta’s hands clean. Is this a trick to get Aung San Suu Kyi out in the public sector then killed by some civilian loyal to the junta? Or is Than Shwe truly turning a new leaf? One thing is for certain, we must be vigilant regardless of what is said for the lives of Aung San Suu Kyi and the political prisoners are in the balance.
With her and the political prisoners release the next area of discord would be the Constitution of 2008 since it is inherently flawed and totally unconstitutional. What guarantee’s are there that the junta will relinquish power if they loose the elections in 2010? The fact they lost in 1990 then arrested the winners is a grim reminder of what can be expected if and when the NLD wins again. Credibility is a commodity that is in very short supply within the ranks of the elite class that has enslaved Burma. It’s ironic that word of a possible release has not stopped the arrests and incarcerations of opposition. Tortures continue on all political prisoners in Insein and other prisons around the country. Ethnic groups continue to flee by the droves as the Burmese Army continues their 4 cuts campaign as well as their genocide program.
Is this latest news just another ploy to buy more time for the junta as they prepare for this rigged election? Or are both Aung San Suu Kyi and the political prisoners simply a bargaining chip to extort money from the USA? If they are bargaining chips their lives will always be in jeopardy and true democracy will never come to pass. Only time will tell as we enter into a new phase as Burma spins towards 2010. On the other hand, what if Than Shwe actually decided to alter the course of destiny? If that were the case he would secure his place in the afterlife as well as that of his generals provided it was sincere. When it was all said and done and Than Shwe was sincere in altering Burma’s destiny I would be the first to give him accolades. I would write a piece that would honor his decision to allow Burma to live and be prosperous once again. But until then, I will continue to observe the activities within Burma with a judicious and skeptical eye.

It would appear that the only beneficiary to all these meetings in Burma will be the caterers. With Daw Aung San Suu Kyi still under house arrest, political prisoners continue to be tortured and increased secret arrests of monks and opposition go unreported. Not much has changed in fact things only got worse according to insiders. On the bright side Than Shwe succeeded in buying critically needed time and fostered pseudo legitimacy for his bogus 2010 Election and regime. The shine of US diplomacy has lost its luster in the public’s eye as another round of Gambari’esk meetings fill news feeds with more false hope. Burma and her patriots remain in bondage. The fact *Kurt Campbell and Scot Marciel will hopefully visit Daw Aung Suu Kyi and opposition leaders separate from the junta delegates nullifies the purpose of the meeting in the first place.
U.S. politicians were sweet talking mass murderers while rescuing John “The Fraud” Yettaw, the man who torpedoed Suu Kyi’s legitimate bid for freedom. There is much speculation about the junta’s true role in this caper. There are eye witnesses to suggest much of the Olympic swimming escapade was fabricated but that’s another story. In the meantime the onslaught continues. The **Free Burma Rangers have reported scores (1,500) of Internally Displaced People (IDP) fleeing into the jungles living only on ancient skills in the latest round of eugenics. Nursing wounds sustained in the numerous attacks, these helpless people have been forced to scavenge in the jungle for sustenance and shelter while keeping vigil for junta death squads. The jungles are peppered with anti personnel mines and field amputations are common place for Free Burma Ranger Surgical Teams. But let’s forget that part and pretend the junta is a legitimate entity in the grad scheme of things. We might as well forgive Hitler’s holocaust and the millions of innocent people who also perished under the watchful of the world’s greatest nations.
The world media has been artificially mum about the continued onslaught of the Karen and other ethnic groups. Feel good political hog wash has filled the air waves with distortions and blatant lies. First hand information from the Free Burma Rangers painted a completely different picture gleaned from the pallet of human suffering. To be a journalist in Burma is to type with the keyboard in front of you and a gun barrel pressed to the back of your head. There are other courageous journalists and news groups though. They share many of the same risks as the Rangers. Only they don’t perform field surgeries with night vision gear behind enemy lines.
With an arsenal of advanced and chemical weaponry, (provided by China, India and North Korea), men of Burmese Army Light Infantry Battalion (LI
599, Infantry Battalion (I
73 and IB 39 have intensified ethnic cleansing operations. Between October 9-10 mortars rained down in the Nwa Lay Ko, Giblayta and Saw Poe Ta regions as Burmese troops shot their way into the lives of villagers. As we fawned over well intended yet futile misguided engagements death reigned as villagers cried out to an ambivalent world. The bottom line is this, without Aung San Suu Kyi and her delegation at the table with all players, including Than Shwe, there is no legitimacy to the dialogue. The junta does not reflect the will of the Burmese people, not by a long shot. If the world honored the will of the people back in 1990 Than Shwe would have been hanging out in Paris with his wife and a couple retired generals. But alas, it would appear the free world is just as full of green house gasses as the mindless 2008 Constitution, the cornerstone of the 2010 Election.
Than Shwe has murdered his way into Burmese politics violating every tenet of human rights imaginable in his reign. The free world has done nothing but offer sanctions to “most” industries while coddling others who skirt the international mandate. Filled with feel good speeches and broken promises after the election of 1990 the Burmese people take words from the west with a grain of salt but still keep just an inkling of hope. Apparently so does the junta and cohort Kim Jong II of North Korea who already cashed in on the Gullible’s Travel’s of neophyte western diplomacy.
Than Shwe’s astrologers are struggling to plot a new course with the least amount of tribulation but it’s impossible and they know it. The excommunication of Than Shwe and his military has placed him in a new light. Actually this exposed him for what he actually is and it is not Buddhist. Than Shwe is a traitor to his nation and has betrayed the core tenets of his mission as a general, to protect and defend the people of Burma. Religion was only a tool of manipulation and his presents in pagodas have been met with deadly results. Following the path of evil will glean rewards that will last an eternity. By perverting a sacred dogma such as Buddhism he has cursed himself as well as all who chose to follow him into the caldron of retribution.
Than Shwe knows he lied to everybody around him, even his wife. He seeks out soothsayers so they can help him find his path as well as buy him time in their sacred incantations and spells. It is his astrologers who are actually at the reigns of power in Burma and Than Shwe is only their disciple. They know Uncle Than’s days are numbered and are also poised with anticipation for his demise. It is almost laughable that Than Shwe does not have magic of his own and has to borrow it. He draws magic from other dubious sources as well but none of his magic is actually his. And there is no way he can reinvent and mold any religion to justify what he has done to the people of Burma. One thing is for certain; Than Shwe will not be alone and he will share his misery with his staunches supporters whence they cross onto the other side. And they better bring their asbestos toe shoes.

Burma’s UNconstitution
Posted in Asia with tags 2010 Election, Burma, Burmanization, Constitutional Referendum, Than Shwe on October 19, 2009 by buffalohair
Constitution of MyanmarReading Than Shwe’s latest literary disaster, *The Constitution of 2008, you must ask yourself, how far beyond stupid is that? Filled with double speak and thinly veiled power points where the junta retains power it’s as worthless as the new money Than Shwe has begun printing. There is no constitution since it simply gives ultimate power to the junta, pardons or gives amnesty to murders, rapist and criminals against humanity. It’s a get out of jail free card for the most reprehensibly criminally corrupt group of people in Burma’s history. It also whitewashes the industries who’ve continued to violate the international sanctions that were imposed.
The fact he chose to push the ballot initiative at the peak of disaster, Cyclone Nargis, while using extortion and threats of death should have been an eye opener for the world. Forced to reveal who they were and how they voted, the citizens of Burma had few choices. The Constitutional Referendum was gun barrel politics at its best. It was the launch pad for the bogus 2010 Election and it bought worthless dialogue that gleaned no results other than buying Than Shwe the critical time he needed. Like the greatest show on earth, Than Shwe set the stage for yet another academy award winning performance.
Ah but not all is well in Camelot and like a train wreck in slow motion Than Shwe is loosing his magic as generals wait for his ultimate demise. Word is out that Papa Than is going to hand the scepter of power to his kid to the chagrin of his generals. Sadly once Than Shwe dies his reign and spell is finished. With factions at serious odds with one another the issue of his son taking power becomes a non issue with a single gun shot to the head. None of his generals will go for a punk kid dictator, democracy or no democracy. It would not be surprising another constitution suddenly sprang up the day after Than died. It would also become open season on his family and they would be sitting ducks. The names of people who flaunted their association with Than Shwe adorn many hit lists and that’s an understatement. The ones with the longest knives will win the day when vendetta echoes through the ranks. Major divisions between the officer and soldier are terminal at best. With desertions at an all time high it is clear loyalty has become a novelty.
Its open season on NLD members, opposition and monk these days as the junta’s kangaroo courts dole out prison terms equal to death sentences underneath the worlds noses. Rape and genocide continue unabated throughout the ethnic regions. The mass exodus of refugees to centers along the Bangladesh, Thai and Chinese borders should be an indicator. Camps are filling beyond capacity in many regions and shortages of food and medication are rampant. But its business as usual as the world panders to empty gestures, fruitless words and jumps through hoops while Than Shwe quietly commits genocide. The new constitution does not address “Burmanization”. That’s the systematic process by soldiers of raping ethnic woman under Than Shwe’s Moto, “Leave Your Blood”. The constitution does not include ethnic groups. The 2010 Election is nothing more than a stage act and the constitution is just a pointless script filled with rhetoric and contradictions. Generals have the final say lock, stock and tomahawk.

Buffalohair: President Steve Wynn, I Wish
President Steve Wynn, I Wish
Posted in America's with tags Bail-Out, economy, Gov. Jennifer Granholm, Steve Wynn, TARP on October 13, 2009 by buffalohair
Prez Steve copy
By now it should be clear we have the wrong people running our government. From the Democratic to the Republican Party, we the voting public have been ripped off and ripped off big time. What this country needed last election was someone with real leadership qualities capable of pulling us out of this economical slump. Ideally this person would already have a successful tract record of solid accomplishments in the world of finance. What America needed was a class act with a vision, a real commander and chief not a neophyte chair folding community organizer.
Enter Steve Wynn, self made billionaire real-estate and entertainment maven who established a new standard of excellence in resorts and entertainment venues around the world. From dirt to diamonds Wynn built a billion dollar empire with elegance, grace and shrewd business savvy in this highly competitive market. Well versed and educated, Steve also does not need a teleprompter and this was exemplified in a debate with *Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm. In a spirited conversation she tried to put words in his mouth in a convoluted attempt to show face. He held his ground and put the lackluster governor in her place. It was a precious moment, bravo Steve. This is leadership and a thing called moxie, something that has gone out of style within our political circus. He did not have a czar to advise him and he did it his way.
In a time when the economy was faltering in the worst Steve Wynn would have been the logical choice for president. With moxie, class and keen business savoir faire Wynn would have been a winner for the people of this nation. Without mincing words he pointed out some hard facts about our downwardly spiraling economy and the lack of leadership.
“The priorities of the administration should have been more directly focused on job creation from the day of the inauguration forward”, further Wynn said, “If the government had used its power to restrain its tax collection, they would have given everybody who runs small businesses, large businesses, a chance to hire more people,”
As we all should realize by now the government feed the top of the pyramid rather than the bottom with TARP and the Bail-Out fiasco with more to come. The people voted for positive change in an effort to save their jobs and homes but were fed a bill of goods by self serving politicians who only worried about their retirement accounts. They got the cash and we got the crumbs. We are still losing jobs and homes in record number while Wall Street breaches the 10,000 mark. And the projection for next year is the continued downward spiral, for us anyway.
But what really struck home with me was this final quote from Steve Wynn,
“Government has never increased the standard of living of one single human being in civilization’s history.”
He was absolutely right on the money. Unchecked government has always managed to victimize their populous throughout history. It was this victimization that gave birth to America in the first place if you will recall. Remember the mad King George of England, his taxation without representation and the victimization of the American colonists? History has a way of reel its ugly head and now we are the victims of a government who caters to business while leaving the electorates to fend for them selves. Like it or not Steve Wynn called a spade a spade and called it like it is, bada bing, bada bang, bada boom.

Buffalohair: Shock Doctrine and Globalization
Shock Doctrine and Globalization

Titanic Economical Collapse
Titanic Economical Collapse
Like the thieves in the night international corporations and select world leader have almost completed the Globalization or Colonization of the planet. All that remains is the transfer of wealth and the introducing of a new currency to make the deal done. China or India will most likely buy the Chunnel as Tony and Gordie sells off the remainder of England’s assets while whoring their nation. Obama has almost completely crimpled America’s economy in an obvious act of *Disaster Capitalism. Soon he will offer a global solution to “save” America and the free world in this transparent scheme to usher in the New World Order. Funny how US highways are up for sale and eventually we will be paying tolls to foreign owned roads on once sovereign US soil. Did you notice that most of the infrastructure work is being done on NAFTA routes? China owns the US Navel Air Base in Long Beach California as well as our Panama Cannel and this is only the tip of the ice berg or did you bother to pay attention? We were stabbed in the back by our own politicians. Ah, but who cares anyway.
The Nobel Foundation managed to show their recent metamorphosis into a political body as well as their corporate agenda. Credibility has become a non issue since much of the media is controlled by corporate thugs. With the axiom of “If one hears a lie long enough they will begin to think it’s true” the propaganda machine has contaminated the world of journalism. The current administration is in the process of offering censorship disguised as protection from cyber attacks with provisions for the president to shut down the web at his leisure. Obama (Bush 3) quietly extended some of the most reprehensible executive orders passed by GW Bush including the unconstitutional PATRIOT ACT. All of which promote spying on American’s. The Department of Homeland Security has become the Schutz Staffle of the contemporary era as our government wages war on the Constitution of the United States of America and the American people. Makes you wonder if the assault on FOX Network was a precursor to full blown government censorship. Again, who cares?
But on the bright side corporations will have free reign as the planet is converted into economic blocks or unions. Imagine, a hand full of people have taken over the world. The healthcare debacle was only a distraction and smoke screen as the country fights over a few billion dollars. 10’s trillions of future taxpayer dollars are being whisked away without a peep. It’s funny how the media neglected to mention the cloak and dagger deals made at the G20 Summit while we cry about health care and other mind sop. The only salvation will be the Earth itself and I’m betting on this wild card. Without Ma Earths help we have no chance of altering this trend towards corporate fascism.
If you did not notice, the stock market breached 10,000 on the NASDAQ while foreclosures continued with zeal as more American’s lost homes and jobs. TARP and the Bail-Out only helped corporations and the investments of an absolute minority, members of Congress and the House of Representatives just to mention a few. Chris Dodd should be in jail not in government for the AIG scandal as well as its architect Tim Geitner. The same families who hit the jackpot in 1929 will be the ones who hit the lottery of corruption again. After all, the money went somewhere when the market crashed. The marked increase in billionaires in the last year should also be an indicator as to who the real culprits are. Not surprising, approximately 50% of the new bazillionaires are from the USA, go figure.
When the ball finally drops it will be the little people from the US, Canada and Europe whose leaders are part of the scam of the 21st century that will loose. America and the UK has already been terminally wounded by their own leadership, there is no question. Oh well, I’m bored with this subject since no one pays attention, they only believe rhetoric and feel good speeches. Such is life and the end of democracy. But this was all a part of prophecy as the Pied Piper takes civilization down the path of ruin and corporate fascism, it’s our destiny. Globalization is corporate fascism, like it or not. To bad, so sad eh.
The colonization is all but complete at this juncture. All that is needed now is an official proclamation and that is just around the corner. We will be so shocked at the loss of our economy we will leap into the arms of the devil himself to save our IPod’s. Like poetry in motion this will be the Shock Doctrine at its best. Corporate thugs made Benito Mussolini proud.
“Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power”……Benito Mussolini
