DAILY NUTRITIONAL NEEDS
A human body needs energy and it will depend up on the type of physical activities. We have to plan the nutrition carefully of our energy to maintain and balance the nutritional needs daily according to our body.
Dietary Reference Intake (DRI)
It is a nutrition method proposal to measure the nutritional needs from the Institute of Medicine (IOM) and projected for the health professionals.
Nutrient mandatory for normal body functioning, that can’t be synthesized either by the body at all, or in amounts sufficient for fine health (for e.g. niacin, choline [clustered within the B-complex vitamins]). It will be acquired from a dietary basis.
Categories of daily nutrition includes
2. Dietary minerals
3. Essential amino acids
4. Essential fatty acids.
Notes: H2O and O2 are also necessary for our healthy life and body.
Different species have very different essential nutrients
For e.g. the mammals amalgamate their own ascorbic acid, and hence not yet measured an essential nutrient for such species but it will measured as an essential nutrient for one who needs an external sources of vitamin C.
Contemporary recommendations for the nutritional needs daily:
The current DRI recommendation is collected of:
• Estimated Average Requirements (EAR)
Anticipated to satisfy the needs of 50% of the people
• Recommended Dietary Allowances (RDA)
The daily nutritional needs based by DRI level of a nutrient measured enough by the Food and Nutrition Board to meet the needs of almost all (97–98%) healthy individuals
Intended on the EAR and in the region of 20% higher than the EAR
Used to conclude the Recommended Daily Value (RDV) which is written on food labels in the Canada, U.S
• Adequate Intake (AI)
The amount established is a bit less confidently held to be ample for everyone in the demographic group.
• Tolerable upper intake levels (UL)
To be prudence against by excess of eating the nutrients daily (like vitamin C) in bulky amounts that can be injurious
Vitamins and minerals recommended for the nutritional needs for daily
Nutrient EAR RDA/AI UL Unit Sources
Vitamin A 625 900 3000 µg Carrot, pumpkin

Nutrition Needs Special Attention
There is no difference of nutritional requirements for both sexes until 9 years old. But after that it will be differ. Once we batter the puberty needs will be diverge for both sexes that’s women need some more calories than men.
What do we need to do for our nutritional needs daily?
First of all we have to calculate the needs and keep an eye on DRI to balance of nutritional needs to according to our body.
