Fathers Day
I cryed this morning when my daughter called me and wished me a happy fathers day. For my children it has always just been another day, because their father left us when they were quite young. Fathers day to us was visiting Grandpa and letting him know that he means the world to all of us. But this morning when my 18 yr old daughter called and wished me a happy fathers day i asked her why is she saying that when im not her father. She told me " Mom you have always been both a mother and a father to us all, when dad left us you were always there for us and we will always love you and respect you for that. " So now as I sit here trying to type this thru my tears i would like to wish all the Fathers and SIngle Mothers raising their own a very Happy Fathers Day!!

Missing Love
To old to be looking, To old to be finding, To insecure to try again. To restless without someone to love. Seeing couples out in public holding hands and smiling. Remembering when i felt that feeling, Wishing i could feel that feeling just once more. Wondering if i ever will.
