Pilipinas, bansang minamahal.

hayyyyyy
We have to start living as a people of substance -- valuing the those that are eternal and not the temporal

Money is not the answer to everything...it cant buy you happiness, peace of mind, sleep, contentment, etc...Totoo, we need money to live but it should not be our main pursuit kasi nga we will only leave them behind.

hahaha..i read somewhere..
nd ko matandaan kung tama ba..pero it goes something like this...
people who say that money can't buy happiness...
dont know where to shop...lol!
pero in all seriousness, happiness is a state of mind...as my proffesor in lit would say..
thus, whatever predicament we're in, happiness will always be a choice we have to make and will highly depend on how we see our lives..

Masyadong malawak ang issung iyan.......maraming masasagasaan kung iisa-isahin mo but the first thing that enters my mind is this....
But i would like to think na iilan lang ang mga yan. They are what i call the "noisy one" in a society, those that still practice the good values of yesteryears are those the silent one who live with contentment with the simpliest happiness in life.
I have this discussion some days ago with a taxi driver, who's been abroad for years, then later found his wife to be having some illicit affairs, neglecting the affairs of the kids. He has this mentallity that most spouses whose other halves works abroad has the tendency to do such things. This logic doesn't just come from this person only but as I am always fond of talking, i found out that this is a majority way of thinking to people of his kind. I think, this is a chain reaction due to the poor economic status of our country. What the taxi driver experience is a chain reaction actually all pointing to a root cause...poverty. Because of desperation, the adult tend to forget the value formation in the kids which is i think the most important thing in building a cleaner and stronger society.
Ang pamumuhay ng disente, walang halaga yan. Sino nga ba ang hindi gustong yumaman and experience good life, but one can be satisfied with just tuyo as ulam and be grateful to what he has. Nasa tao talaga yan, nasa puso...
