About Iron Maiden Fan Site

Iron Maiden have been around for over 25 years now, with various different band line-ups over the quarter of a century (not decade, cheers drummerboy). From the beginnings of the band with Clive Burr on Drums, Paul DiAnno on Vocals, with Steve Harris on Bass (the only member to have remained in the band from the beginning) the band has evolved many times throught the years, from their first two albums, 'Iron Maiden' and 'Killers', to the Bruce Dickinson era, ('The Number of the Beast' to 'Live at Donnington') to the Blaze Bailley era (The X Factor and Virtual XI) to the modern and possibly greatest times (Brave New World, Rock in Rio, Dance of Death, Death on the Road, and the latest album, A Matter of Life and Death), with Bruce Dickinson back on vocals, Janick Gers, Dave Murray and Adrian Smith on Guitars, Steve Harris on Bass and Nicko McBrain on Drums, Iron Maiden have been a dominant force in Metal, and with the latest album, have proved they are not finished yet.
