FriendFinder makes connecting even easier!
29 April 2008 - Netlog came up with some finetunings and a little rearrangement in the friends section. We joined the 'Invite' and 'Discover' sections together. Now they form one large section designed to deal with your friends on all levels.
From now on, you can also sort your friends by their birth dates. This is one more criterion that will help you in managing your friends list efficiently. More will come soon!

Hooray for Netlog!
25 April 2008 - Netlog is one year old! During that year the number of our users tripled, we came from 8 to 19 languages and the crew grew up from 15 to 40 people!
Netlog brought about a lot of new and improved features like logs, events, chat, brands and music. The list is endless and much more is coming! We invite you to post your wishes for Netlog in the Netlog clan. The authors of the 5 coolest wishes will be rewarded with 100 credits!

28 March 2008 - The management page of your profile has been slightly modified. Besides being able to add what you are looking for in Netlog, you can now also share information about your love life! Got a major crush on one of your Netlog buddies but can't find a way to tell him/her about your feelings? Or are you married to the most incredible man/woman and you want to share that with everyone? Add that in your profile!

Netlog applications
21 March 2008 - Netlog launched the application platform. The first running application is from Last.fm, which allows Netlog users to access Last.fm's music library directly from their own Netlog page. Install the Last.fm application now. Soon, there will be more cool applications available on Netlog!

Netlog Toolbar
19 March 2008 - Using Internet Explorer? Netlog has a great new feature: Netlog Toolbar! The Toolbar enables you to keep track of the activity on your Netlog account: visitors on your profile, your notifications or received private messages... Shouts for friends
6 March 2008 - Since we've launched it on Monday this feature proved very successful. It allows you to post shouts among your friends only. This means that you can share your shouts with your friends without letting the rest of the world know! Edit your layout to put your shoutbox on your profile and add the shout icon on your shortcuts. You are all set to go. You really cannot miss it! Fun! Fun! Fun!

Create your own skins!
3 March 2008 - Many of you have been asking for it... Your own skins ! Now, with Netlog's new Skin Creator, you will be able to customize and tailor the skins exactly the way you want! You can choose your own fonts, color combination and headers with your pics! Spice up your skin!

3 March 2008 - Now you can also add photos, videos and web pages to your blog messages. And you can edit all your pictures at once! Make sure you surf to your Shortcuts. With the Shouts shortcuts you can easily view the latest shouts of your friends. You can also add those shouts to your profile page. Looking for a certain brand? On the Explore page you'll find a handy overview!

New feature: brand pages!
11 February 2008 - Maybe you have already noticed that your friends have been divided into friends and brands. Netlog has recently introduced brand pages, and you will be able to choose for yourself which brands to become friends with. On your profile page, next to your friends, you will see a separate block with your favorite brands. Soon, you will also be able to find the brands easily in Explore, but for now they can be found under the general user profiles. Netlog has selected international and local brands, that already have a profile. Some brands have already taken on the challenge of pimping their pages and posting exclusive videos, widgets, pictures, blogs, ... Go check it out!

11 February 2008 - This goes to all the people who are head over hills in love. Netlog wants to celebrate Valentine's Day! On the skin pages, you can now select the Valentine skin for your profile. Happy Valentine's Day!

New Music Tool!
7 February 2008 - All you music fanatics: listen up! Netlog developers have a new Music Tool ready for you.
What's new about it? You can easily login with another nickname, you see right away the songs that were tracked and you can pause the tracking (in case you are listening to songs you don't want to be seen on your profile).
Now also Mac users can download the tool - with the new functions. Install it now and tell us what you think of it!

Time Zones
18 January 2008 - Up to now Netlog was using one time zone: Central European Time. There are people from all over the world on Netlog and we thought it would be great to make the system more flexible for all of them. From now on, you can change your time zone. Just go to your profile basic data form and choose the right one. Have fun!

Changes in the Code of Conduct
17 January 2008 - Netlog is a multicultural and therefore a multilingual community. Nevertheless, the whole platform is divided into
separate languages. We feel that this better reflects the cultural background of our members.This is why we have introduced an alteration into our Code of Conduct. From now on, officially, only the main language of Netlog should be used, so Netlog can maintain its safety standards. Please rereview the Code of Conduct in order to be up-to-date with the new regulations.

New look!
14 January 2008 - In the past months, Netlog has changed a lot. The new look reflects the changes in the structure of the site. We're sure that Netlog is a lot more user-friendly now, and we hope that you'll feel at home soon. Most of the changes resulted from your feedback, and you can read more about it here. Of course, you can also find the answers to your questions in the FAQ. If you have any comments or suggestions, you are more than welcome to share them at the official Netlog clan.
