Netlog invites my mail contacts without me requesting it!

We would like you to know that we respect your privacy and we never do anything without your consent. During our registration procedure, you are offered the possibility to import your contacts from other services in order to make it easier for you to invite your friends and show them how great Netlog is. Then you can choose whether you want to invite them or not.
In case you choose to send an invitation, it will be followed by two reminders. After the second reminder no more messages will be sent to any of those contacts, unless another member invites your contacts as well.
Any person that was sent an invitation can resign from receiving further mails from Netlog at any moment by clicking the link at the bottom of the message and blocking his or her e-mail address from our list.
You can cancel your invitations by going to Friends > Pending > By e-mail. No further mail invitations will be sent on your behalf. Additionally, if you decide that you want to stop using Netlog and delete your account, no further invitations will be sent to your friends.
