  Our older sites, such as Redbox (Belgium, market leader for Dutch speaking community), Coolbox (Belgium, market leader for French speaking community) and Xobox (Switzerland, market leader for German speaking community) have been completely converted to the Netlog platform and brand name. Bingbox and Gentebox will start forwarding to Netlog in the next days.
  
  We're also introducing a friendslog feature, allowing members to keep track of their friends' activity on Netlog. At a single glance you can check out the pictures, blogs, videos and comments posted by your friends. You'll also see their new friendships and be notified of birthdays.
  
  The music section is also revamped, with more focus on bands and artists, and the ability to become a fan of your favorite artist.
  
  Soon we'll be introducing more exciting features on Netlog such as an Events section. Enjoy!

• Red Herring Top 100 Europe

  Red Herring today announced that INCROWD, the publishing company behind Facebox, is a recipient of Red Herring 100 Europe, an award given to the top 100 private technology companies based in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region each year. Red Herring’s lists of top private companies are an important part of the company’s tradition of identifying new and innovative technology companies and entrepreneurs. Companies like Google, eBay and Skype were spotted in their early days by Red Herring editors, and touted as leaders that would change the way we live and work.
  INCROWD is the only Belgian company selected for the Red Herring award this year.

• Facebox launched in Romanian

  Facebox plans to cover every language spoken on the European continent and is now one step closer to that goal. Today we are happy to announce the launch of the Romanian version of Facebox. Thumbs up for Anca, our beloved Romanian community manager.

• Facebox France in Google Zeitgeist

  Google reports that "facebox" is one of the ten most requested search terms in France (January 2007). As in many other European countries, Facebox also entered the Top 50 of the most popular web sites in France.

• More free photos

  This week we've upgraded the number of free pictures a member can upload from 5 to 15 (on the English version of Facebox).

• 10,000,000 members

  This weekend we'll surpass the 10-million-member mark! These days we're counting 150,000 new members per day. Whilst initially people joined because they knew "someone" who's on Facebox, we notice that more and more users are joining because a lot or even all of their friends, relatives or schoolmates are using Facebox on a daily basis.

  For about two weeks now we're running a survey to get audited insight in our member base. We're cooperating with the leading European e-research agency InSites. So far we've gathered over 82.000 qualified respondents throughout Europe. We'll be publishing some of the remarkable results regularly on this blog.

  As we all use Macs at Incrowd, the Photo Booth application has provided the Tech Unit with some hilarious photos. Most of them are on the test version of Facebox, which is only available for team members.

  We are happy to announce the soft launch of the Italian version of Facebox. Italians are now automatically redirected to this distribution. Italians living in other countries, can visit it.facebox.com. Thumbs up for Alessandro and Iolanda, the Italian community managers (CMs).
