Blog / Should you give unconditionally all the time?
Sunday, 8 April 2012 at 23:04
At the gym reading - it takes my mind off the physical discomfort!
Out pops a bit from the book - I read it twice - about 'social economy'. It suggests any interaction between people, individually or in a group, family, friends and colleagues is based on a notion of fairness and reciprocity.
Ok, so I'm familiar with the Law of Attraction, Abundance, Random Acts of Kindness, Tough Love and what have you.
But in more enduring interactions is it right to expect some element of reciprocity - it doesn't have to be equal - but should it be there in some way or another?
