After an accomplished career as a commercial real estate broker and developer in Seattle, Washington, David Zarett has shifted his focus to sustainable design and building a strong foundation in philanthropy and volunteerism. David Zarett began his career as a commercial real estate broker in Los Angeles, California. In 1992 David Zarett relocated to Seattle and formed Zarett Properties, a self-owned development firm. Among Zarett Properties’ countless endeavors, the three-year conversion of the former Diamond Ice & Storage Co. plant and the 2007 sale of the Cobalt Building for $20 million has cemented David Zarett’s firm as an major player in the Pacific Northwest real estate development community. Despite his success David Zarett remains grounded and feels a personal responsibility to give back to his community.
