thankful, happy, struggling!
I appreciate the supportive comments fellow netloggers have sent me...I'm applying for a new freelance writing job today...the last one paid almost nothing, but it did establish me as a professional writer with samples...it's a lonely life, being a writer, but I would not change a thing. Being creative is what makes me happy.
As the saying goes, if it weren't for the rocks in the bed, the stream would have no song. -

Yesterday I got my first freelance writing assignment, so I am psyched...this opens the door to a lot of opportunities and makes it possible for me to say, I am a writer, which I have known for years but is now more real.
To any writers out there who want to be published, I say, keep on learning, applying for jobs, perfecting your skills, it will happen! -

hello again world, I have a job interview...I know a good job is around the corner...I do hate being at loose ends! I am not self-disciplined enough to stay busy...so I need that outside push, a schedule, to keep me on the straight and narrow.

it's evening now, I had a good day---being without a job can get a person down, but I know something will come of all my applications...freelance writing and editing does not pay well, at least not yet...

today I shared a bit more personal info, I'm getting the hang of this new site...it has its limitations but I can network, find people with similar interests...I've recently moved to Phoenix but plan to return to the Denver area before too long...can't wait for my first book to be published, It's gratifying.
