My Live Performances on National Danish TV – Videos!

My dear friends!
In January this year I had the pleasure of getting exposure on THE TWO BIGGEST National Danish TV Channels in PRIME TIME, in two of THE MOST viewed TV Shows in Denmark, - and I am SO PROUD of that!

On January 23rd + 24th 2009. I appeared in the Danish version of “American Idol”, here in DK called ‘The X-Factor Show’ on DR1, the oldest National TV Channel in DK an THE MOST WATCHED TV SHOW. They even made a very funny and creative promotion video, (like a commercial for a TV-Shop), - of me, promoting my new CD, as well as my first one. They told me I got THE LONGEST appearence anyone ever got on that show! And getting a commercial on that channel is not anything you could even buy for money, since they don’t do commercials at all!

On January 26th 2009 I was on a very popular National Danish TV2 Talkshow called ‘Good Evening Denmark’, with a live interview and where I ended the show by singing one of my own songs ‘I Go On Dreaming’ live, to my backing tracks recorded in Nashville. This was a first time for me, and I was very honoured, that I was invited to be on this show. It was real fun too!

PS. No….I didn’t make it to the finals!...The judges told me I was TOO HAPPY to take it seriously! But I sure got the exposure I hoped for, so now, finally my home country (Denmark) know I am here…weather they like me or not! And that was my primary goal.

Sure, it would have been wonderful, and great fun, to have moved on, into the finals, but we all know, they mostly want 15 year old kids for that (at least in DK they do). So I AM REAL HAPPY and PROUD, that out of 5000 participants for the audition, I was selected, and I got my 5 minutes of fame!....on National TV, in primetime, in THE most successful and viewed TV Show in DK!

MY NEW CD: "I Go On Dreaming"

My dear friends in music!
I am SO HAPPY AND THRILLED to tell you that my new CD is now in production and will be ready for release by the end of August!...and I can't wait to share it with all of you and the rest of the world.

I have updated my website with some information about the new CD and the songs on it, if you care to read about it. I will soon be posting the Lyrics in my 'Friends & Fans Clan', like I did with my old songs.

My Dream – My Fairytale - & My New Dreams

Is it possible to go to Nashville Tennessee and, - just for the fun of it, as a ‘once-in-a-lifetime experience’ , - record two of your own songs in a professional studio, - and before you know it you ‘end up’ on the Top of the Charts in countries all over the world? And four years later you even release your 2nd CD!?....

Well that is what I have done now! Sounds like a Fairytale hu? Well I am from Denmark, the oldest kingdom in the world and the homeland of the famous Poet and Faitytalewriter Hans Christian Andersen....so maybe I’m about to transform from an ugly duckling to a swan? Anything IS possible I guess, if you do something with passion and from your heart, like my Dream-Come-True-project and my story that I’m about to share with you here. I hope my story will inspire other people to follow their own heart and dreams, no matter how ‘stupid it may sound’ to others.

So here is my ‘Fairytale’ and Dream, as it has happened. Below this, I will tell you about my new and future dreams, if you care to read that too....and maybe even help me forward?

In August 2004 my husband and I was going to Nashville Tennessee on vacation, since he was to attend a Steelguitar class. As I have been singing in various bands most of my life, but never got a good recording of my singing, I suddenly got the ‘crazy idea’: Is it possible to get a session in a professional studio in Nashville and just record a couple of my own songs, just for the fun of it, to see what it would be like and hear the result? A week before we left for Nashville, I had a deal with Mike Headrick in his wonderful Mikron Recording Studio, just outside of Nashville. I found one of my old songs (Magic Music) to be worthy for the session and wrote a brand new song called ‘Little Old Women’ just before we left. I had NO idea what to expect in the studio and only brought two very bad homerecordings with me, for the band to listen to. But these guys in the studio, boy they are PROs!!!! They understood what I wanted and the experience was THE MOST FANTASTIC THING for me! To hear MY OWN SONGS coming to live and sound like a dream, just like I wanted! NOTHING comparres to THAT! So on the way home in the airplane, I wrote my next song...called ‘How Come I Care’ – about the experience and the meeting with Mike Headrick, who already then seemed like a good old friend.

A week after we got home, we bought the next trip to Nashville, for six months later. This was something I needed to try again! Two months after we got home I had written six new songs, for my next recording session in January 2005.

In January 2005 I recorded six new songs of my own. This time I was so much better preparred with what I brought with me, what I wanted and what they would expect from me in the studio. The experience was FANTASTIC once again, and so was the result. My producer Mike Headrick, and his wife Teri, liked my songs so much, that they suggested to put one of them on a promotion / compilation CD to DJs / Radio Stations. Boy was I proud of that! I now had 8 songs recorded, that I was SO proud of and wanted to share with the world. Too few for a whole CD though.....so the idea started to form in my head....I need four more songs...then I could try and publish a CD! I had NO idea how....but somehow!?

In August 2005 my very first song (‘It’s Buying Time Again’) was released on Country Discovery Records Compilation CD! And MUCH to my surprise and exitement, the sweet Country DJs seemed to love it! WOW! They all played MY song! ALL over the world! In fact they played it so much, that I even ended up on Worldwide Charts as ‘Most Played Country Mainstream Artist’ and in Europe on the ECMA Charts for Most Played Country Songs – with only that ONE song released! I have to say that THIS was a HUGE inspiration for me, to move on and do more songs! WOW! Think about it....there are thousands of great artists out there and MILLIONS of great songs to play....and they played MY SONG! Some of them, even over and over again! So....

In September 2005 I went back to the studio, for the third time, to record the last four songs, so I would then have 12 songs, all in all, and enough for a whole CD. This was to finish my Dream-Come-True-Project and (like the other two times in the studio), I cried my eyes out over the fantastic experience it was to record my own songs. This time I cried even more, since this would probably be my last time there, and I felt so grateful that I had been so blessed to make my dreams come true like this.
The Themesong for my debut album, (‘A Dream Come True’), says it all....and listening to the lyrics of it, I may have had a preminition, that this might not be the end after all, but only the start!?:

“This it it! – This is new! – It’s the dream of my life coming true! - It’s the songs from my heart! – It’s the ending....or is it the start?”

So now I had 12 songs recorded and I knew NOTHING about making, publishing or promoting a CD, what so ever! ...But I don’t really ‘know how to write music’ either and that never stopped me, so...!

On November 18th 2005 my debut CD (‘A Dream Come True’) was ready for release and I couldn’t WAIT to share it with the world!. Lucky for me (or was it clever?...probably both!) I had started to keeping tracks of all the spins / DJs / radiostations who played my first song on the compilation CD from my studio. Checking playlists on the internet and thanking DJs became a new daily exitement for me. I celebrated my first 100 spins, 200 spins and 300 spins jubilee before the end of the year, and always thinking that ‘it would end soon’. (Little did I know that, two years later, I would have a HUGE spreadsheet with more than 5000 spins and hundreds of DJs / Radiostations on my list, not to mention more than 300 times on the TOP of the Charts worldwide!) I sent ‘my dream’, my CD, to the most supportive DJs, who seemed to like my special style.

And WOW! Things happened! Every single day ever since, my songs has been getting airplay all over the world. Getting on the Top of the Charts. Radio interviews. More songs on compilation CDs. Wonderful feedback and reviews from all over the world. You have to check out my other ‘bragging pages’ to see it all. I am SO grateful and proud! NOTHING HAS EVER given me more pleassure, than making my dream come true and sharing my positive songs, values and beliefs with the world! It seems like, I now have friends and even fans, all over the world! I am SO gratefull for all the support and feedback I get! If something makes you THAT HAPPY....and people even seem to LIKE what you do.....then WHY STOP? So.....

In January 2007 I went back to Nashville and my studio for the fourth time, to record six new songs! Thanks to the FANTASTIC support from so many wonderful DJs all over the world, I decided to GO ON DREAMING and that is the Title of MY NEXT CD!

February 2008 I went back to Nashville and my studio for the FIFTH time, to record six new songs! This time I went to the famous MUSIC ROW in Nashville downtown, to get my songs mixed. The Sound Control Studio with Mark Moseley as mixing engenier is where all the BIG STARS of Nashville go! So I am now in real good company there, following artists like: ...Dolly Parton, Garth Brooks, Vince Gill, Willie Nelson, Charley Pride, Tanya Tucker, George Jones, Trisha Yearwood, Lorrie Morgan, Ricky Skaggs, Patty Loveless, Lynn Anderson, Porter Wagoner, Rhonda Vincent and from the Nordics, Arly Karlsen...and now me!

In August 2008 my new CD ‘ I GO ON DREAMING’ will be ready for release! And like the first one, - I CAN’T WAIT to share it with the world, and see what happens! My favourite and most supportive DJs will recieve my new CD for sure. I wish I could afford to just send it to everybody, (DJs), but I would need a sponsor for that. Do you happen to know one? J Until I do have a sponsor, I do my very best to reach out to lots of DJs on all the compilation CDs and also have songs on AirPlay Direct for free download. In fact THREE of my new songs has already been released on compilation CDs and the first one (‘Don’t Trust A Man’) was SEVEN MONTH in a row on the TOP of the ECMA Charts and in the top in many countries too.

My new CD is dedicated to ALL the FANTASTIC DJs all over the world, who has supported my dream and my music beyond my wildest imagination, ever since the start! YOU have inspired me to go on dreaming, and to make more music, so YOU have made a huge difference in my life! And this goes for all future support and supporters too! You have no idea what your work means to independant artists like me! The themesong was written for YOU!

Hopefully my Story and the Titlesong ‘I GO ON DREAMING’ will also be an inspiration to other artists, since it tells the story about “a nobody from nowhere”, with a funny name, wrong age and figure, doing something that everybody told her ‘could not be done’ – and yet ALL her songs ended up on the charts....because of YOU!...My DJ Friends! (I will share the lyrics later!) Bless you!

One of my new songs is on the way out to DJs around the world, on Country Discovery Records Compilation CD!!!

My dear Friends in Music.

I can't tell you how thrilled I am to tell you, that one of my new songs, called "He's From Mars" is on the way out to Country Music DJs & Radio Stations around the world, right now, on a compilation CD from Country Discovery Records! I hope you all will enjoy my song!? Music & Lyrics by yours truely.

Obviously the song is partially inspired by the book 'Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus' by John Gray.

Previously released songs (from my new CD) on Country Discovery Records compilations are:

1) Don't Trust A Man - The lyrics ending with "....but he sure is from Mars!"....so now you know why...and what I meant by that. This song was 7 month in a row, on the TOP of the famous ECMA Charts, over most played Country songs in Europe, - and it also got/gets heavy airplay all over the world! THANK YOU DJs!

2) You Gotta Be Positive - Which also is recieving wonderful airplay all over the world!

Dear friends.
It feels a bit like I'm talking to myself in my FriendsClan and on here ....but according to statistics my FriendsClan has had about 4000 visits since I started it half a year ago....AND over 5000 visitors on my profile!...so some people must be reading something....and THAT keeps me going on writing in here, even if not too many people joins clans or respond. I KNOW we are all so busy! So THANKS to EVERYONE who READS!

During the last year I have been invited to and joined so many networks that I don't even remember all their names. And some are surely MUCH better than others. And you can't spend your whole life online....oh yes you could easily!...if you try to keep up with them all. And believe it or not...I just let me talk into another one...THE one that everybody talks about these days: FACEBOOK. (Next year it will probably be something new) But so far I find it pleasant there and easy to find friends, family, artists, fanclubs, clans (groups) etc. NOT a lot of 'lovehunters' like here on NetLog!

I just celebrated my 5000 SPINS & 300 times on TOP of the CHARTS JUBILEE on March 31st! THANK YOU to DJs Worldwide, from my heart!

WOW my dear friends!!!!! I NEVER EVER thought I would make it this far with my music and my dream, when I first started out, just for fun, to make my dream come true! On March 31st. I CELEBRATED my 5000 spins jubilee and at the same time also my 300 TIMES on the TOP OF THE CHARTS somewhere in the world! And I am only counting the spins I see on posted playlists from you! And only counting major Charts, (ECMA, USA, worldwide & in many countries too!) - not Soundclick and its like.

I can’t THANK the DJs enough for all your fantastic and ongoing support of my dream and my music! YOU guys/gals and your fantastic ongoing support are the reason that I went back to Nashville last month to record the last songs for my next CD! So that way you have made a HUGE BIG DIFFERENCE in my life, helping me make my dream continue and also spreading some happy positive vibes around the world! THANK YOU FROM MY HEART! I just returned from vacation in Nashville with 6 new songs recorded!
So friends please bare with me for a while longer, for not responding....I will get back to you soon...when I get over the jetlag from travelling.

I recorded 6 brand new songs of my own while I was in Nashville / Tennessee. So now I have 12 new songs ready for my next CD that will be published as soon as I can. This time the mixing was done in Nashville, on the famous Music Row downtown,....where all the BIG stars get theirs done too. More information will follow, as soon as I can.

Ready for Nashville again now...

In just a few weeks now I'll be leaving for Nashville again to record six new songs and finish my 2nd CD!

Last night I wrote / finished the last song, called: I GO ON DREAMING - and I sure do! I can't wait to get the rest done and share it with the world as soon as possible. I may even get to meet some of my new friends I found on here, so that will be awesome.

I had such a FANTASTIC 2007 - much thanks to so many great DJs all over the world, who has supported my music ongoingly since the release of my debut CD. - Performance and interview on 2 TV Shows in Nashville, recorded at KMA Records.
- One hour live interview on Worldwide, WICR Radio Broadcast, with DJ Julie Taylor.

CHARTS in 2007:
- 127 times on the Charts Worldwide, as most played Country Artist or most played song.
- 80 times somewhere on the ECMA Charts (in countries and on ECMA TOP 100)
- 17 weeks in a row on the ECMA TOP 20/30 with my new DON'T TRUST A MAN.
- 13 of my 14 released songs has been on the ECMA Charts as most played songs.
- 11 times on Joyce Ramgaties TOP 40 / TOP 200 – Best as 1 with Don't Trust A Man!
- 8 months on TOP TRAX USA Airplay Charts. Best as: 48.

Geeee that was a tough one for me to get done. I tried so many times but I just couldn't figure it out! So either I got very smart over night, that week, or they updated their layout to be more userfriendly!?....probably the last thing!?

I'm real happy that some of us now have found each other and link on MySpace too! I cant believe I have had almost 600 visits on my site there since Christmas and made more than 150 friends there already. ....well some of them are 'wannabe friends, like Elton and Dolly LOL ...but anyway! So I have spent quite some time on there, also trying to find you guys and link to you.

What REALLY exites me is that through MySpace I suddenly learnt so much useful stuff, like making Picture Slideshow, Banners and a Worldmap Guestbook, even a little HTML to make it look right. And its' actually easy to copy and learn! I even managed to copy some of it to my own website! So have a look, if you are not a pro already, and try it out! If I can learn...anyone can!

...never thought I would geee!...But so many good things has happened lately...meeting old and new friends in here...and I DO like this userfriendly place called Netlog....so maybe THIS IS THE PLACE to share visions, ideas and good vibes?

I started up 3 clans in here by now and they have started growing too! That's awesome! I hope that many more will join soon and start talking too, so the clans will become useful to those who joined. From the Clan-logs I can tell that MANY MORE have been in there looking, even if they didn't join (yet. So I REALLY think this is a good way to promote radio-shows & music/artists....and share ideas etc.

In my "private" clan I have just started posting my lyrics and the stories behind....you are all VERY WELCOME to join and comment...or just look anytime you like.

Not just by trying to get all these clans and friends connected together....and a new site on 'Number One Music'...that is FUN!...but from ALL those 'lovehunters in here geeeeez!...who don't even know or respect the word MARRIED!...It was flattering for a very short while, but I don't need all that taking focus away from the REAL people I want to talk to and connect with in here....so I upgraded myself to a senior citizent, so they won't find me in there searches.

And it seems to work right away. So there's a tip for ya, if you get 'haunted' more than you like, that is!

WOW...I said I would give this a try...and WOW I got hooked in here! What a GREAT tool to make connections & network!

* During this 1.st week I have had 350 visitors on my profile!
* Got connected to 42 friends (mostly in music)
* I invited a BUNCH of friends in music in here, so I hope to see more here soon.
* I started up 3 new CLANS...and HOPE that my visions and intentions are well recieved and that people will benefit from joining.
