I am still alive and kickin' to my tunes, folks! Though I wish I could do more to publicly declare how I am doing or more importantly how my fanfic works are coming along, sadly my job has sucked every ounce of creative urge in my body. I am about to release a new chapter for SOS, but my Bleach fanfic is still sittin' pretty on my laptop. I am highly displeased...

Rest assured that my job is somewhat backing off of my personal time and so my creativity is resurging once again! Hopefully I can blog more then!

Hello!

I am extremely pleased that you've swung by my humble blogs. It's been an age since I've last posted here...I've been so busy! Work is a pain...but I'm glad I have it...not many can say that nowadays... .

Fruits Basket fanfiction is still the hobby I splurge time on when all is quiet at night. It's great work and I'm thrilled it's progressing well. Feel free to look up my new material HelloKat Fanfic Page !

For those looking to see if my Bleach fanfiction will ever see the light of day in updates, I am BEGGING for your patience! I am at a crucial point in my Furuba fanfic, and it's taking much of my time and muse to push it forward. Once I'm over the 'hump', I'll be very happy to get back to it! Has anyone seen recent manga releases? It's lookin' pretty cool!

Greetings to all! This is a short blurb for now...I'm back on track! No joking! Written works of fanfiction is being put together at this very moment! It's no Twilight saga, but I like it! I have better complicated mysteries in mine...someone has to toot my horn!

Yep, that's how I'd describe the corner I'm chucked in. Work has been eating at my thoughts and time and energy...and of course, who hasn't had gas woes with their car?! My yearly raise was more like the yearly joke...why do I still work here?

Anyway, if they think I'll be putting forth much effort on their crap, think again buddy. The work is not my life, although I see it around me with several people that put so much effort into their work but hardly any into their friends and family. Sad people in my opinion. I can't place work above me and my friends and family...it's just not going to happen.

So stated, I'm back on my wagon of fanfic writing. SOS was really hit with my hiatus bug, but thankfully I'm back to pushing it along. Whispers... fic will come around eventually so don't fret my readers...we'll get there soon!

Lately I've been keeping up with Bleach manga from JP...totally awesome how's playing out! Nana, too, is another manga I follow...pretty crazy and gooood! Too bad for Ghost Hunt not coming out anymore though...it was a great manga run! There are others I follow, but I'll be back to post more!

ARGH!!!!!!! I am HATING NETLOG RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!

This new layout, update, whatever the hell they want to call it is PISSING ME OFF!

Logging in was a disaster in and of itself! After finally being allowed in, I wanted to change the skin. Uh-huh...easier said than done. Okay fine...it sort of changed. Finally it did work.

And of course posting a blog was just too much for Netlog to handle...it DUMPED my good message blog! All of it is GONE...IRRETRIEVABLE!!!!! DAMN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm NOT a happy person, hell I'm not even classifiable as a human being right now. I'm just that mad. If Netlog they think they've improved, they are sorely delusioned. They need to fix their slowdown issues and hangup issues pronto. I'm not going to go through this fiasco again.

For the record, I have zero patience at the moment. Don't mess with a hungry person!

I'll blog again later when I'm chilled...laters!

What has happened to me?! I was so good at keeping my blog up to date with silly thoughts of mine. I'm a loser!

Next, the other tiny thing that kept me out of the land of cyberspace is that I was in a car wreck. Yep, totalled the car...MAN!!! Why me?! Now I'm feeling like I don't want another car if it means driving the long commute back and forth from home to work. I need another job...really.

For being stuck in traffic for appx 2hrs, I'm pretty hyped! Why...? Just because!

SOS ch55 is now pushing forward instead of being stuck in the intro! Yep, I just barely got through the first portion of ch55 just last week! Sorry with how it's going so slow...but I did decide that I won't make this event into two chapters. Nope, it's all coming down to this one chapter and after this, yes, you guessed it...the Tournament! I've advertised this for the longest time as being a climatic point, but don't think the surprises stop here...no, no, yours truly is going to save the best for last when the 'summer' segment is finally over! I expect kitchen sinks and the occasional bathtub shipped my way!

Sidenote...classical music ROCKS! Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Tchaikovsky...oh yeah!

I've been on vacation and feelin' good!

My writing is moving along SLOWLY. Lack of energy mainly...it seems to be contagious. I'm the same way at work and at home. Does anyone have the cure for the blahs?

Anyway, I was facing a brick wall with the intro part of the latest SOS chapter, but I'm over it now and adding the last touches before moving along the story. Goodness, I'm VERY late in releasing this thing! Maybe I should go back to Bleach...at the least the ideas flow better with that small fic.

It's the change in sun position...the lack of sunlight...the darkness that comes all too soon after work... Yeah, that's it...

I'm in my classical fit and so am listening to some free CD I got in the mail. Love ol' Mozart...hm, I need to add him to my fave artist list! He's the man!

I've also made good progress with SOS ch55. It was tough pushing out the intro to the chapter and I was struggling once again. Now, taking a mini break by putting out a Bleach fic and watching some good movies plus anime, my creativity level is coming back to norm. Whew...I'm good once again!

Such a good mood today...I'll have an apple! You have one, too!

I'm THRILLED!

So far my fic is doing okay for its first run. FFnet was being very finicky with the file that it showed oodles of errors when posted originally. ARGH ! I had to repost the file two times before I finally was happy with it! Man, I'm sure the first few readers thought it bad...I should shoot the website for making me look bad! Oh well

Yes! I'm thrilled!!!! And slightly confused...

I'm thrilled my first fanfiction outside of Fruits Basket is finally released. It's not going to be an intricate plotline like my Furuba fics, but mainly it's more like a snapshot of events that have happened to Hitsugaya Toushiro in the past. It kind of evolved to be a bit more so that it has some sense of plot, but not too much. It'll be good though, promise!

I'm also confused...why did FFnet set up my story to be so shoddy? How embarrassing! I didn't mean for the typos to show up like they did, so I apologize to any who see them...I'm usually so good at catching that stuff. Unless FFnet is being a complete pain in my rear for posting it all wrong. Anyway, the main mistakes are fixed...hopefully it'll be better on the eyes!

I'm also stunned at the immediate response to my fic. One reviewer was slightly confused on a small part of it, but I'm sure her/his answer will be showing up in future chapters. The mystery is there so really it's a matter of the reader to discern what's going on.

Another reviewer though caught me way off guard...I almost laughed at its absurdity. I have no idea what he/she/it meant by any of it (it was Luscius something or other Malfoy under the anonymous brand--typical pathetic flamer) since it was written with nonesense, but I reported it to FFnet for removal. Besides all this, I'm happy and good to go with researching a few things for my Furuba fanfic. It was a struggle at first, but now my muse is happy! Yeah!

Bleach Fandom

Damn this blogger!!!! I just wrote a good one and it dumped it!!!!! DAMMIT!!!!!

Before I place a hex on this website, how is everyone? Good I hope...oh, a shout out to whom have viewed and commented on my pics. They're awesome, right?!

Okay, let's talk BLEACH. Yep, I've fallen for another fandom. Although the fandom for Fruits Basket is waning somewhat, I am still writing up my fic for it...SOS will be finished, so no worries peeps! I just need to expand my creative juices to other levels--it's my way of venting stress related to my heavy-handed fanfic for Fruits Basket.

Back to Bleach...yeah, the character I'll be focusing my next fic is Hitsugaya Toushiro. Why? Oh come on, just look at the character and the answer is obvious! Adorable yet lethal...gorgeous! And of course his personality appeals to the penwriter in me.

So in the next few days (please return to me my beloved Internet at home--doing it here at work is just not worthwhile!), I'll be posting the fic for the Bleach fandom at my FFnet account and at some LiveJournal comms when I'm allowed. We'll see how well it's accepted!

Here's holding my breath...I'm going in a different direction for the first time since I started fanfic writing in 2004. This is scary!

No kidding...I'm being slammed with work. Don't you just hate it when the problems your faced with have nothing to do with you? Yet, here you are, working miracles to problems that have no real solution. Talk about learning the art of 'spinning'. I've spun a lot over the past few weeks. Today is no better...

But at least I'm making slow progress with my fanfic works! I'm not necessarily updating SOS but I'm working on a sidefic that really explains it all for this main fic of mine. It's good...real good...hopefully.

Anyway, how's the world on your end? Good, so and so... ...yeah, I know it.

I've not had any...and it's late in the day. Let me tell ya, work has been one constant SNORE. There's plenty going on but it's the same old stuff...it get's boring fast.

Customer calls all sound the same...all problems I can't fix are even the same. Why do I bother? Food...money...I like both and it's kind of necessary.

Other than reality sucking a little, my fanfiction is at a standstill. I need motivation somehow...I need to find it. It's hard to trudge along when you're like this. I need a break...

On a happy note, I think I'll be eating Panda Express...orange chicken...yum!

Aside from writing, I've been working...yep, work is just...work. How it's despised...

I've been on a Bleach craze lately! Furuba is in the bygone era (except for my fanfics!), so I had to get aboard another ship! My favorite character...Hitsugaya Toushiro! So ADORABLE!!! I'm thinking of writing some fanfic work for it...we'll see!

Anyway, I just wanted to blurb for the sake of blurbing. Next time I'll talk about music...BTW, Luciano Pavarotti died today of pancreatic cancer...such a shame. He'll be missed and loved.

It's been this kind of week or two since I last ranted. SO BUSY AT WORK! No fun...

Anyway, for those of my dear readers awaiting on my next SOS chapter release, I'm SO SORRY!!!!

I really meant to release this before my vacation, but work and energy were against me. It's coming along fine with no real problems putting it together...heck the main outline was put together back in 2004/2005!

Nah, it's just time I've been short on and now with vacation, it'll be a while more. I'm SO SORRY!!!

But fret not, you'll be very pleased at the content and length of the chapter! It'll be worth the wait!

Changes across the board!

Wow, now I'm on NETLOG...okay. I liked the other name better though...it was unique! NETLOG sounds...plain. Agree or disagree?

Anyway, I did post before but apparently the switchover was going through and my pointless thoughts were lost in the transition. No biggie.

I'm happy that I finished my one-shot "Starlit Dreams" based on the usual Akito/Yuki 'sibling' pairing when they were little-bitty. I'm not as thrilled with it as the others, but it sufficed I suppose. I think my next one-shot though will be a little more angsty, and will encompass the rest of the Jyuunishi during these earlier times...hence the angst. We'll see.

First, I'm getting into my next chapter of SOS. This is long overdue and I'm pretty psyched! Thanks to my dear reviewers EmeraldKikyou and takayakittykat and infinityguy3000 and to my regular reviewers who know they are always treasured. I'm so happy that even though I'm passing the 50 chapter mark and almost 3 years later, I still have this support group! Trust me, I really need this or else my desire to push on would just crumble like dry cake. So thank you!

Well, that's enough blurbs for now. I will continue to work hard and will make you proud, hopefully. TTFN!

Horrid Monday...

Yep, I'm steamed but more than anything just plain tired! My weekend of fun turned out to be a nightmare!

First, I had a tire problem (i.e. the car was sitting on its rim) because of your standard road debris (I REALLY hate construction now...this is the 4th time!--only had car 1 1/2 yrs!!!). Well, I discovered this problem at the mall parking lot, so sure enough I had to have good samaritans help little ol' me since I can barely pop the hood (don't ask for me to open it...it's just not going to happen ). Man...damn tire was stuck TIGHT & wouldn't budge even after the grueling efforts of one good samaritan to remove the lug nuts.

So, another good samaritan had a bottle of Fix-A-Flat (THANK YOU SIR!!!) who preferred to help the clueless me than wait on his wife who was shopping for shoes (poor guy...it'll be a while). Anyway, it's cold down south currently so we weren't sure if it'd work since the temp had to be around 40ish degrees for it to work right. Trust me...I was COLD!!!!

He did the work & the tire was okay off the pavement, but once they set it down, the flat was still there & the air was coming out quick. At least it wasn't on the rim anymore!

Well, my cuz did a real quick drive to her house which was minutes (5min) away while mine was about an hour away (yes, I live out with the cows). The car was dumped, & I had to borrow the big sis car to go home in (THANK YOU big sis!).

Now, this in all was pretty bad but not terrible. The next day, the cuz calls me to let me know she'll do a homemade patch that should work & get me to the dealership so that they can replace the tire with the spare. Well, loe & behold, my cuz did the work, but unfortunately as she was testing the workmanship on the road, the car started to overheat!

I was more upset & worried than mad. I mean, I just had the darn thing serviced barely a month ago. They did all the flushing & filling in the fluids & stuff. My cuz did me a great service yesterday, let me tell you! I LUV my CUZ!!! She went to the trusty Autozone (mind you it's Easter Sunday--I was amazed they were open!) & asked if her & my older bro's assumptions (they consulted while I was busy in church services) were correct.

Coolant people...your car needs it. And apparently mine lacked a drop of the damn stuff. Oh yes, I was hot then. What the HELL?! It was serviced already for all of that! ARGH!!!!!!

So of course the trusty Autozone man got 'em a bottle of the good stuff (Peak brand) and poured about a liter of the yummy, gooey stuff. Well, that must've done the trick...it no longer overheated! I'm the only one left steaming (besides my cuz who was at her wits end!).

Oh yeah...I loved getting up this morn at 5AM to get to my big sis house at 7AM for her to have her car for work. And going to the dealership to light the match under their feet. All in all, they looked at it again & confirmed that the coolant wasn't enough and that it was riding on an air pocket, hence the overheating.

Hmmm, I don't know about you, but that must've been some really big air pocket if there wasn't a drop of the damnable thing. My cuz thinks they are covering their butts with not admitting that the last service done on the vehicle wasn't done right and that in actuality there was no coolant put in after it was flushed. Then again, it only really started overheating sometime last 2 weeks...it wasn't really noticeable until yesterday when it read all the way to H.

So I'm here now with groggy eyes, mind, and with the nerves all shot. My usual service advisor wasn't there that early in the morn, so I will be giving him a call a little later today to give him the heads up on this 'unique' problem I had. Maybe I should be grateful for the flat last Saturday. If I'd run the car any further...hello cracked engine. That would've been fun.

Now all I have to do is buy new tires like I was gonna do on Saturday! Michelin or Goodyear? GY TripleTred or Mich Destiny or Hydroedge? Warranty or no? Choices, choices, choices...

Now his music rocks! His work throughout the years has been incredible...and he still manages to put out songs I love to hear, which is why I'm listening to his CD on the PC. Good listening!

Friday! Made it to today, but don't know about the weekend. It all looks like I'll need to work on a project that is REALLY wanted by the big men in the company...bummer.

Still, I'm getting a few responses to my ch50 release for SOS. Thanks! FFnet has been REALLY weird these past couple of days. I check to see how it's viewed publically and ... yeah, I get this way. They have my fic listed as last updated in Feb with only 49 chaps, when I just updated this week with ch50. I hope they fix their bugs soon...it's getting tiresome.

Now I'll be focusing on getting my one-shots out the door. Hope it's received well!

I'm so thrilled to get that one out the door! It's tough to put a fic together for as long as I have. I'm beginning to feel the burden! I'm thankful for the reviews/responses I get...it keeps me going!

Now I have to work on getting Sei's edited chapters up in ffnet. That won't be pretty...fanfiction.net is very finicky about uploads & editing. Mmorg was much easier to update...ah well, it must be done!

I also have a few one-shots in the making that I need to finish up. It'll be great...I really like them!

I love my music...I hear it all day and during rush hour traffic! Japanese/spanish/english...it's all gravy to me!

SOS Chapter 50 coming!

Yessiree! I've got it done...barely!

I'm on the final proofread and then my usual author notes and voila! Hope to release this soon, like later today.

Man, it's been hectic around here! Hardly time to say hello and say many things about absolutely nothing. Terrible...

Anyway, to my fanfic readers, I hope you like this frilly chapter. Good stuff but mostly just an intro to the next chapter. Chapter 51...phew, that one has been in my thoughts for many a month! Yukiru moment for sure that was set up since back in 2004 when I started the fic!

Progress is slow but getting there!

SOS ch50 is coming along a lot more slowly than I had hoped. This mainly due to my lack of motivation, as I've stated many a time before that it's a constant problem of mine. Why couldn't I just be down with the 'writer's block' or some kind of plague like gingivitis? Those are easier to fix than the lack of motivation, at least, I think so!

Well, anyway, I also work on some side fics that I hope to release soon after ch50. I hope you like them...they're more of the same kind as the last ones. I love writing stories involving Yuki/Akito as children in my SOS world. Granted I'm way off canon manga now, I'm happy to indulge in my own fantasy of 'what if' with these two remarkable characters from Furuba.

Latest buzz is that vol23 of Fruits Basket is out in Japan next month along with a second fanbook. Pooo, I want them, if only the fanbook! So not fair that we're way behind the times in the US. Just as well, though. I've not followed Furuba since around the time of the school play which we've now just caught up here in the US. I won't spoil anything for anyone beyond this point because I did read up on summaries of various chapters since then, but trust me, my memory slips away very easily.

I'm happy with how SOS world is turning out...a complete deviation from canon manga, but also it supports the ideals of its characters. At least, I hope so!
