Fanfiction with Fruits Basket
Let's just say that I'm at least THINKING about my next chapter release! Heheh, I've not made any real progress on it though...YIPES!
Rest assured, I'm getting off my listless butt and will get on it tonight and this weekend. It needs to move forward and forward it shall! Yeah!
That said, thanks to all who have posted their reviews, especially with the last chapter 49. Heheh, cyberchats just aren't that easy to accomplish with the Sohma family!
Ah well, I must run off. Do let me know what your thoughts are on my fanfics. It's great to hear feedback! Thanks again!

Naruto shows...slow...
These shows are SLOW to progress. Man, give me the manga anyday! Heh, considering its way ahead in Japan versus here in the US, perhaps I should rethink that!
Anyway, yeah, I know. I'm too 'old' for this stuff, but hey, being at work all day kind of gets you to the point that all you want to do is turn your brain into mush if only for a little while.
I've followed this anime/manga off/on, but one thing's for sure, it's still keeps going and going and going... Yep, slow. But it's a fun kind of 'slow'...does that make sense?
That's why I TiVO it. Yep, it's a wonderful thing since I can fast forward through all those commercials and such. Now I know many that would say to just buy the uncut DVDs. One, money doesn't grow on trees, bud. Two, if I had that kind of money to spend on anime DVDs, trust me, I'd prefer to spend it on anime I'll watch over and over again. Sorry, but Naruto doesn't grab me to the point that I'd watch it more than once or twice, tops. Maybe the newer version of Naruto (only in Japan now) when they're older will 'grab me'...we'll see.

Anime I follow...
Okay, to be quick since I've no time today to chit-chat, one I saw over the weekend is Trinity Blood.
This anime is based on a novel by a deceased Japanese writer. I've picked up the manga as well (vol 1) but after comparing the two, I preferred the anime (so far). Maybe because the manga was a little hard to follow with the dialogue...maybe.
Anyway, the anime has spectacular graphics and characters. My favorite is Aeon (spelling off I'm sure), a young vampire that is very aware to much of the world's deceits and hates, but still carries an innocence that is so refreshing. Strange, but it works on the boy!
Anyway, that's my take. What's yours?

Sure it's tough to listen to me drone on, but come on! I drone for a reason! I don't talk just for the sake of listening to my voice. LISTEN!!!!

Compared to other's, I'm enjoying this one way too much! It's just very simple and I love the MUSIC tool feature. I'm always listening to my tunes and can't share them with others...no more! Although you can't hear what I'm hearing, you can click on the links provided and listen to clips.
Trust me, my collection is very varied. Hope you enjoy it as much as I love listening to it!

Editing SOS
Whew, my Fruits Basket fanfic, Seasons of Sorrow (SOS), is finally getting a bit of polish. I had hoped to go over it more thoroughly and rewrite some portions so that it flowed better, but there's just no time right now.
Pity, I really, REALLY want to do that. I'll just have to suck it up and focus on new material for the new chapter! Heh, it's hard to write about summer fun when you're freezing in winter!

Why do I freeze?
Well, maybe it's because of the rather large unit in the back of this building that is pumping out arctic blasts through the vents, all because the sun came out today.
I PROTEST!
It's just not right that I'm wearing a scarf INDOORS just to keep the chill at bay. I do have a heater, but I need to get a new one. Yes, peoples, I do have my heater on during the hot summer months (much to others envy and shock). Why you ask?
Because it's FREAKIN' COLD!!!!
Now I'm constantly told I should put on more weight and I won't feel it as much. Reality check: that's not gonna happen. I don't gain weight, period. Not in the amounts they're talking about. I'm petite and thin...it's in my family's bloodline. Sorry folks!
So, why not keep the temp at a mild setting, say like 74 deg.F.? Well, according to stats, people perform better under the cold blasts of an AC. News flash: we're not all built the same. Honestly, have they not heard of hypothermia?
Oh well, let my rant continue throughout my tenure here... In the meantime, I'm checking out sales for heaters...and more scarves. -

I'm here's twiddling my thumbs wondering why we work on Pres' Day? Why? Hm, the men are long dead, but still, having it as a holiday then not even having the day off...what's the point then?
