Now his music rocks! His work throughout the years has been incredible...and he still manages to put out songs I love to hear, which is why I'm listening to his CD on the PC. Good listening!
Friday! Made it to today, but don't know about the weekend. It all looks like I'll need to work on a project that is REALLY wanted by the big men in the company...bummer.
Still, I'm getting a few responses to my ch50 release for SOS. Thanks! FFnet has been REALLY weird
these past couple of days. I check to see how it's viewed publically and ... yeah, I get this way. They have my fic listed as last updated in Feb with only 49 chaps, when I just updated this week with ch50. I hope they fix their bugs soon...it's getting tiresome.
Now I'll be focusing on getting my one-shots out the door. Hope it's received well!

SOS ch50 out the door!
I'm so thrilled to get that one out the door! It's tough to put a fic together for as long as I have. I'm beginning to feel the burden! I'm thankful for the reviews/responses I get...it keeps me going!
Now I have to work on getting Sei's edited chapters up in ffnet. That won't be pretty...fanfiction.net is very finicky about uploads & editing. Mmorg was much easier to update...ah well, it must be done!
I also have a few one-shots in the making that I need to finish up. It'll be great...I really like them!
I love my music...I hear it all day and during rush hour traffic! Japanese/spanish/english...it's all gravy to me!

SOS Chapter 50 coming!
Yessiree! I've got it done...barely!
I'm on the final proofread and then my usual author notes and voila! Hope to release this soon, like later today.
Man, it's been hectic around here! Hardly time to say hello and say many things about absolutely nothing. Terrible...
Anyway, to my fanfic readers, I hope you like this frilly chapter. Good stuff but mostly just an intro to the next chapter. Chapter 51...phew, that one has been in my thoughts for many a month! Yukiru moment for sure that was set up since back in 2004 when I started the fic!

Progress is slow but getting there!
SOS ch50 is coming along a lot more slowly than I had hoped. This mainly due to my lack of motivation, as I've stated many a time before that it's a constant problem of mine. Why couldn't I just be down with the 'writer's block' or some kind of plague like gingivitis? Those are easier to fix than the lack of motivation, at least, I think so!
Well, anyway, I also work on some side fics that I hope to release soon after ch50. I hope you like them...they're more of the same kind as the last ones. I love writing stories involving Yuki/Akito as children in my SOS world. Granted I'm way off canon manga now, I'm happy to indulge in my own fantasy of 'what if' with these two remarkable characters from Furuba.
Latest buzz is that vol23 of Fruits Basket is out in Japan next month along with a second fanbook. Pooo, I want them, if only the fanbook! So not fair that we're way behind the times in the US. Just as well, though. I've not followed Furuba since around the time of the school play which we've now just caught up here in the US. I won't spoil anything for anyone beyond this point because I did read up on summaries of various chapters since then, but trust me, my memory slips away very easily.
I'm happy with how SOS world is turning out...a complete deviation from canon manga, but also it supports the ideals of its characters. At least, I hope so!

Friday!!!
They said it couldn't be done, but we did it...FRIDAY!!!
And in celebration of such a festive day that has no other purpose but to ship us off to the long awaited weekend, I will say that I will treat myself to some good DVDs. Any suggestions, guys? I have an ongoing list here, so if you saw a movie recently...oldie or just released...let me know if they're worth the buy.
Man...it feels good to sort of blow off the day! Heheh, if my boss doesn't show up today, I'm takin' off early! YEAH BABY!!!! Kiss my dusty trails good-BYE!!!! 
Of course if my boss just happens to be reading this, then please disregard all said here...I was just joking. Honest.

Foggy...ERGH!
Man I'm hot! Not in the literal sense, but EESH! People just can't drive through foggy weather! It wasn't even as heavy as it was earlier this morning!
Boy, I popped open my eyes this morn and saw just the tree next to my window and then a wall of white...it was that foggy.
Anyway, I made it in this morn after grueling traffic nearly detained me for what seemed like forever. How's everyone doing? Good...better than me...hopefully.
I do follow American Idol...don't ask me why...I can't believe it! They still have the 17yr old kid coming back for next week! UN-FREAKIN-BELIEVABLE! Raise your hands if you think this is rigged...me, too. If you're a fan, tell me why. Honestly, I can't understand why he's still up there when he can't sing. I don't want to know what other song he'll butcher next week. Again, if you're a fan, tell me why...I'd love to know. Maybe it's the wax in my ears...unlikely, but maybe... H'kat -
Spring Cleaning...Kind of
Man, I did't realize just how much manga I've collected over the years. Some series have recently finished, and their lengthy volumes take up way too much space under my bed.
Alas, I'm off to a book store that sells used books. They state they'll get me a price on them based on demand & such, but I'm not expecting anything more than a dollar for each of 'em. Bummer. Seriously, the price on manga is high, & when I start counting how many volumes I have versus the dollars spent on each one...
Shocking. But if it weren't for the gripping stories, or just the plain ol' fun ones, I'd never have bought them to begin with. Oh well...
Let me remember...Kare Kano, Kare-First Love, Gundam Seed, Yugioh (1st series), Sengoku Night, Juvenile Orion, Wolf Rain...there's more but I forget.
And the ones I'm keeping are Rurouni Kenshin...yep, all 28 volumes. Then there's Alice 19th, Imadoki, Fruits Basket v1-15, Descendents of Darkness v1-11, Suki-A Like Story. I have tons others that I'm still collecting, too! Prince of Tennis, Cross Road, Bleach...too many to think of anymore.
Man...I have a lot of variety in manga. Well, it was fun reading them!

Progress on SOS ch50
Wow! I actually wrote up a good page or two last night! I'm very pleased with this 'progress', though it's a far cry from what I'll end up releasing to the public. I tried to keep it light and fluff, but my fingers have a mind of their own, too, so don't be too surprised to see angsty moments as well.
It seems that many liked my SOS ch49 with the instant messaging scene. Heh, I had not anticipated that! Maybe I'll do another one...maybe...
Well, I'll be off for the weekend, hopefully making further progress with this chapter! I think I'm out of my rut! TTFN, folks!

Music lyrics
I'm crazy about lyrics that move the heart! In my fanfics, many of stories carry inner meaning to me, so I look for songs to support them.
In SOS, many of my notes contain info on what song I most liked to listen to while readiing/writing the corresponding chapter. It may seem strange, but it speaks oodles of how much I appreciate music and it's ability to reach your heart in just 3 minutes of melody and song.

Naruto and Prince of Tennis
I like Naruto...if it weren't for the prolonged suspense. And I do mean prolonged...sometimes the characters just stand there for ten seconds straight doing nothing but stare at each other. It can get aggravating especially when you add in the constant commercial breaks.
Prince of Tennis. Same thing...like the anime but prolonged moments can drag it out unnecessarily. Still, I like the sport!
So I'm glad for TiVO. It does wonders!
