The famous company front entry on to the field. Then they go into The Way We Were. Oh my God...!!!!!! Great crowd reactions on this clip too.

"This video is of the alumni corps, former members. I saw the current Madison Scouts competitive corps live last month (July, 2007) in competition in Buffalo. The competitive corps does something very similar! When it's for competition, hit is what they do when they take the field and do their warm-up! I've never seen this done by any other corps, although others may have done it. Madison has made their warm-up a crowd pleaser instead of just an exercise! Damn!!! A standing ovation for a warm-up! Who would have expected THAT!!! *hugs*

Check out the very end. Regiment's low brass add a little twist...

Performed at the closing ceremonies after a competition and played jointly by all the corps on the field. Phantom Regiment's contra bases injected an unexpected (and unapproved!) "Oh Say Can you See" into the playing at the end that really wowed the crowd!

Madison Scouts Alumni 2006 - Singing

2006 Madison corps and alumni singin "Never Walk" on Wednesday night, August 9, 2006.

"One of the MANY things that are great about drum corps is that it bonds you for life with others who share the same passion. The Madison Scouts have the song "You'll Never Walk Alone" as their theme song because you truly never will walk alone as long as a fellow corps member is walking this earth. This video is of the alumni singing the theme song after a performance. It's one of the most touching and moving videos I've seen that demonstrates the love of drum corps and the deep - and lasting - connection it forms between members AND the audience!!! *hugs*
