Introduction: I am a 62 year old licensed Texas Lawyer (since 1971) and an Intrepid Entrepreneur. In the 1970's worked directly under the former FBI Director, and was an Assistant US Attorney for the Western District of Texas, and served Past President of the Federal Bar Association. I've owned an Investment Banking Firm, 2 NASD Licensed Securities Companies, 2 Oil Companies, and founded and was the President/CEO & the "Rainmaker" (Business Developer) of the 18th largest law firm in San Antonio, Texas. I retired from the practice of law in January 2000, at the age of 55, and am now happier, healthier, and more satisfied, than I've been in many years. We are now debt free, and my wife and I are celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary on May 7, 2007, and moving into our new custom home in early June, 2007.
