I am still alive. I have been working 12-16 hours a day for the past week. Hopefully, I will have some time off in a few days. But I am exhausted when I get home. So, I will see you great folks as soon as I can!

Wasted and not in an alcoholic way
Well, I just got home from work and what a night it was. To be the oldest on the shift and all beat up, I still work circles around some of the guys. But I am paying for it now. As in the title, I am so WASTED! I did not get any sleep yesterday. Indygirl kept picking on me and, being a glutton for punishment, I sat here and took her shouts! lol
So a couple of beers real quick, a few emails sent and relied to, then off to the shower. Then it is pillow hugging time! I hope all have a great weekend. I am so glad I found netlog. You folks are fantastic. Such a nice change. No one here has even tried to talk dirty to me. (sigh) I knew I should have just stuck to whit and charm and not posted my pic. I usually save that for enemies! lol
I will not be online much until I finish my work week Tuesday morning. Believe me, I will be here full bore then! Everyone have a great but safe weekend!~~~JT -
Friends
I moved from Texas back to Georgia in 95. I had a great job there as a game warden. I moved back to be closer to my family, most of which we were burying at the time. Unfortunately, I have not had time to go back to Texas to visit my friends there.
Now, a good firned's Daughter is getting married and I am going back. I got to thinking how easy it is to not do something and knwing you need to. It is sad that it takes an occasion so special to draw friends back together but I guess, in the scheme of things, it will be morte the better to return on a happy occasion. They are wanting us to move back but I am unable to. Will just have to make the best of it and not look for an excuse to go see them. Life is just too short to let fianances and other menial obligations dictate your life!

a quick observation!
Hello all. I just joined this site a couple days ago and I am so glad I was invited. Everybody here is extremely nice as they can be so far and it is such a nice change! I am learning my way around and have not invited any friends or tried chat yet but, to reiterate, what a great place!~~~JT

Shift work sucks!
I got called in work and when I got there, I was sent home. Now I have slept during the day to work tonight and no work. so chat time, yippeee!
I feel I have a great job. The only thig I do not like about it is the shift work. Besides that, good pay, great benefits and great people. Not many bad words with anyone at all. not too bad.
I heard from my 17 year old tonight. He is in Portland, OR working over the summer. Her is an honor student and needs only one semester of English Lit to graduate. It is possible he could work in California until September/October. Since he has done so well in school, I think I will let him. He was going to take shop and ag classes just to pass the year away but right now, he is getting OJT. I do not think I am negligent in lettign him stay out of school for a semester. Plus, the life experience he is gaining just by being able to travel and do what he is doing is somewhat a reward in itsself. Plus, he was in the jacuzzi at he campground with three young ladies last night! lol
told him to be very careful with the southern drawl and charm!!!

Damn Tired
Well, it was to good to be true. I got called in to work yesterday. They waited until 3:45 to call me. I had to be in at 7 so i am a whipped puppy today! But the sweetwater 420 beer tastes good! lol
