Burma Democratic Concern’s ultimate vision is to establish democratic system in Burma by supporting efforts to create a political environment, to increase awareness about political development and to strengthen international support for Burma pro-democracy movement.
Our organization believes that a strong constitution and respect for the rule of law are vital part for the democracy. Our organization perception is that freedom of expression and fair elections are prerequisite for thriving democracy which will demonstrate the genuine desire of the Burmese people. Elections must reflect the will of the people and can also act as a litmus test of public support for current government policy.
As we are living in global village, every country is interdependence due to the mutual responsibility and dependency on others. Our organization pursuit its mission of promoting the international support to resolve our country’s long standing crisis.
Please lend your support to work to free Burma.
