What can I say?

I am 55 years old, been married for 33 years, have four daughters (ages 22 - 31) and am accepting sympathy for having had to deal with them over the years. :)

I have an interest in Celtic music and lore and would like to learn more about it. My ancestry is Irish and Scottish and so I am also interested in the U.K. ... it's people, culture, etc.

Other interests include astronomy, computers, growing blueberries and grapes, travel and many other types of music. Reading Sci-fi/fantasy books is one of my favorite hobbies (I get enough "reality" at work).

I tend to wonder what makes other people "tick", but I don't use a crowbar to try to find out. :)

I'd like to make new friends and learn about other countries and cultures.

I am not judgemental (at least I try not to be) so someone's political/religious/lifestyle beliefs do not bother me (unless someone is being harmed).
