Storm of Confusion 1&2 Rainbow after the Storm

Storm of Confusion

An emotional storm violently pouring in my head

I want to weather it under the umbrella of my bed

A current of feelings swirling swiftly & violently

Cyclone of scattered thoughts running recklessly

A vicious vortex of torment endlessly whirling

A jet stream of mixed messages ferociously spinning

Beyond tears desert dry, wind burned , and confused

Heavy hail is pounding on my heart leaving it bruised

Is it real way off the Richter scale or an optical illusion

This fierce storm gaining a new mass of emotional confusion

Reflecting on the past weather touchdowns as angst stirs

A tempest forming rapidly unsure when it reoccurs

Uncontrollable winds reopening past unhealed wounds

My life is blessed now,yet has unresolved crosswinds

Mother earth gave birth but,she quickly shunned

Leaving her seedling alone,castoff, and stunned

Rainbow after the Storm

The seedling blooms into a firmly planted bright sunflower

Weathering many a violent thunder and lightening showers

Sunflower met the love of her life a sturdy Chestnut oak

Oak's powerful branches protected her from future smoke

Together they flourished nurturing a rainbow hued bouquet

Blessed with faith, hope , and love as a family they pray

Golden sunshine filled days have replaced storms of gray

"Poetic Justice "A DREAM Come TRUE

I love to read and write poetry.I started reading ,anything I could get my hands on since I was a toddler.

In school of course did some ,Poetry,Not much ,Especially since I never went past 8Th grade .

Never completed school ,but that did not stop me from continuing to read and educate myself .

I won't bore everyone with details ,since it in its self is a novel .My life story that is.

My husband did not complete school either left, High School due to his parents needing him to work in order to help support their family.

We were childhood sweethearts/first loves.

To condense originally folks were OK with us being of a different race. He is African American &Multi - Ethnic I am White but, I go by other who really knows. We are the Human Race .But,then Hate set in .

My Mom forbid me to see him.My Mom became abusive,etc.Long story .
Eventually I ran away from Home .I was brought back several times by my Husband ,But last time after being stabbed with a fork ,my Husband said no more

OK ,so we are together two teens in Love.One thing lead to another.Shortly after we were parents.

Many struggles, children (10 in all) many jobs trades ,whatever it took to get by .

My husband took his GED ,next month applied to college was accepted.Major in English Pre -Law Political science.

He worked 2 jobs 1 at school to help pay for books etc.

I stayed home raised children ,but I also read all his books.When I got a hold of his Pose and Fiction book I was in LOVE.

I read and wrote .Mostly read everything .

Life is a struggle but, a blessing,many, many .years later ,after children pretty much grown up last of our Loves at Home 3 Sons 20,,17,&14 .

Well now it is my turn & my Man supports me 150% YAY!!!

I start writing fiercely just out of a Love for it, everyone Enjoyed .
I thought my Family had to say it was good because I fix their meals .LOL

Folks would stop by my web pages and comment.So I said well OK maybe I can write.Firstly, I Truly enjoy it so that is all that matters.

I always encourage everyone to follow yours Dreams it is a long shot but,when it is all said and done you know you tried.

She chose the poem Like she said last night at one point she was not fond of Poetry cause folks thought of it as Words of Dead old White Men LMAO Kind true but some of those guys ROCKED !!!!

Anywho , Last night was BAS Pilot Show Live Via Phone /Internet Yours
Truly and several FABULOUS Poets and Poetesses.Were Guests of Diane's
Informative,Sharing,GENEROUS,Entertaining Show.

It will be available on BAS it was recorded when, I get links I will share

SHOUT OUT to Diane you did FABULOUSLY!!!!

She surprised us all with turning our poems into a book ,of our Poetry featuring me as well .

It is going to be a book of poet /poetesses featured on BAS .Available soon.

I was too chicken to read my poem over the air .(I've Never read my poetry aloud before)

But,My Dear Friend from BAS Juanita Did *THANK YOU Juanita* from the bottom of my HEART GOD BLESS you read it with Feeling & Power)

My Poetic Justice Dream has become true .With my Family in the back round ,Cheering & everyone on the show Clapping loudly my Dream was fulfilled .

I write for myself mostly it is my Poetic Therapy a release and Gentle pieces of my Soul.

But,to see my work make other grow to Love poetry (I'm glad you are a more of a believer now Diane YAY!!!!)

Yes,poetry can be many things Sadness,Happiness,Love,Fantasy,Educate,Horror,Politics=I want to tap into a political one look out it ,s brewing lol)etc.

I am so HAPPY!!!!

Where are the Gentlemen ????

Question to everyone if your in crowded office,train,bus,restaurant,etc.And all seats are taken ,a female ,child or elder person,comes in what to you do ????

I was at the dentist today office was full 2 emergencies which is uncontrollable.

I stood up while 2, 1 in his 60's other in his 30's males were sitting in chairs,a female young arounf my age 40's offered me her seat I guess she was raised with manners,& a kind person after 20 minutes the elder gentlemen offered me his seat .I politely said "Thank You no I'm fine "

Thinking the azzhole 30 yr .old would offer his seat instead,But he did not

Another young lady came into office young and attractive,I just knew 30 yr,punk would offer her his seat NOT!!!

He sat there doing a crossword puzzle .I had a few choice words for his crosswords

If my Sons' or Husband did not offer their seat to any female,child , or elderly person my purse shoe and back hand would smack them back to reality

After 40 minutes ,young lady who originally offered me her seat was called into office she said please take my seat.I told the younger lady beauty before age .The younger lady said if my Mom saw me take that seat before you .

So I got loud I had ,Had enough come on.."I said a True Man would offer a Lady his seat."

Heres ' the clincher I use a cane I have a bad back .Trust me I get around fine just feel more comfortable with my cane I style it Its' also a hany dandy weapon when and if needed

Which ,makes this male much more less of a Man

BELEIVE me I thought about hitting him with my cane. But.it wouldn't have helped unless I hit his head

That fool did not nudge.So myself and young lady shared our seat talking about his dumb azz .The Dentist over heard us ,and said Steven Shame on you !!!He told me when I went in. I was next i'm going hurt him on purpose

I told Dr.Art I'm glad I bring you cookies and we have pleasant relationship OUCH!!!!LMAO

What a loser I guess he was not raised right or simply has no manners.

What would you do????

To me he represents what future of America looks like ,DIVERSITY ,1 LOVE ,CHANGE someone who knows what it is like to be "Different" yet Very much the same.

We are all 1 .Depending on your beliefs we all share the same Father irregardless of Faith.Religion,Political,Economic, beliefs,etc.

WE ALL BLEED RED

Barack Obama is an Intelligent Layed back Young Man filled with PROMISE & HOPE his Heart is in the right place

If given the chance he will make this COUNTRY better for all .Which is something he has done his Entire Life .Better himself and share he wealth of knowledge to better and benefit others .

In My HEART He will be President of the United States 2009

Hes' being held accountable for others actions /beliefs whom he has relationships ie Pastor Wright.This is WRONG . I Have Many Friends w/ Radical diverse beliefs, I'm not held accountable,for their beliefs ,if anything is this NOT what Educates us ?

We all have things we have done,or someone we associated with we are not the proudest of, and have hopefully learned from event/circumstance.I Ask the first person,whose closet is empty to step forward.While I don't have any skeletons' in my closet. I certainly have shadows in my closet .

About Me ..

Hey Everyone

I bet you would be surprized to know that I was a teenage Mom ,I never went to the prom I'm a rebel with many causes

I never completed grammar school last grade was 7th ,part of 8th.

But I NEVER ,stopped learning,reading,ror educating myself &I soon will be taking GED MY Family is very supportive

By the age of 20 I had 5 children and had lost a baby girl.

NOTE: All My Children are from my Husband of 32 yrs. soon to be 33yrs. We have been together 32 3/4 yrs.Shh don't tell as the saying goes we lived in sin for the first 10 yrs. PLEASE the Love ,Bond & Commitment we have for each is no SIN

I met him on my 13 th Birthday (Best Gift I ever recieved)

Its a long long long story but to condense .When my husband & I met we were both teenagers.

He complimented my eyes ,as I was checking out his .He was dark and mysterious and I was fair and curious

We were both poor ,but not in Spirit Both shared same Interests,we would walk n' talk.for hours

We never did the dinner/movie date ,But we enjoyed each others company .One thing lead to the other We feel deeper in Love.

But since we were from different sides of town ,folks began to HATE .Which made us Stronger

My Mom (only parent I had at time) Parents were divorced by time I was 6 .Anywho ,My Mom at first had no problem with us together .
But neighbors began to be IGNORANT, HATEFUL, & RACIST

My Mom forbid me to see him
UT OH thats where my rebel side took over . My husband said look we know we Love each other let things cool down, so we chillaxed for awhile .Then, my Mom took out he inability to step up and tell folks off not fall into what others think and their racism .I AM NOT Blamming her she had a FULL plate myself .a younger brother and 2 older teenage sons.

But, she became violent with me attacked me evet chance she got .I ranway yup hubby brought ne back home

But then the verbal attacks and physical attacks became much more violent each nasty remark that others made she took out on me Finally she stabbed me with a fork .
I stayed up that whole night around 5 am on a December night in the Fog I left & Never returned .

Nor,Have I ever regretted it NOT ONCE A Little humor The Cops in this Town are still looking for me Never found me the runaway

Lots of things happened inbetween ,but I don't want to bore you make you snore LOL I already wrote a book

My Grandfather her Dad disowned me SO WHAT?????Money means nothing to me :
My Mom did too the Day we got Married she was a No show you see by then my Grandfather had passed away she came into a large inheritance so I was promptly disowned by my Mom too as well as my Brothers

Its been 22 yrs. since I last had contact with my Mom I tried several times even after all the Horrible things she did to me .But she ignored me.IHonestly don't know whether shes dead or alive I check Social Security records every so often

Its there Loss not mine cause I have the* BEST FAMIY & FRIENDS * MY MAN is Right here by my side almost 33 later

But I am Not going to lie and say it does NOT Hurt

But it does make me STRONGER

One day they will face their maker. I Pray for Mercy on their Souls'

MY TREASURES are my FAMILY & FRIENDS PRECIOUS & PRICELESS

I had to Vent PLEASE feel free to ask questions or leave commentsI will answer HONESTLY

Now the reason I chose was I belong to several other Groups on BP (BlackPlanet) one is a computer geek Group a Hurtful post was made and upset me

It was a hurtful message by of all people the Group Owner I promptly gave my Opinion and kicked myself banned from Group One of My BEST Friends Anthony he is a Beautiful Loving Man That I am PROUD to call my Friend is Gay & I know & Love Many Many Gay Lesbian/Homosexuals IMOMHO I believe what 2 consenting Adults do behind their doors is no ones business.

I want to first thank all who are a part of this group. I want to thank all moders who keep this group alive. I love all of yall, brothers and sisters. Now for the bad stuff. I am sorry if I ban members who don't know how to control thier loose lips that sank ships. Yes I did banned sweepea64 and demote the painter and poet. Why, because she left the group on her own and chose to not agree with me. I spoke on this in the other group. I have nothing against her at all. I thought she was a great person. Until she vented on me about my beliefs. I am sorry, but i don't think the same sex should be together period. No need to talk down too me because I am against gaynest and gay relations. Thats all I wanted to say. I will delete this in 48 hours.

Hello everyone My Dear *Ray* got my head spinning LOL He made an Honest comment about how he has yet to see what I look like [razor

I get asked alot ,Why do have no pics of yourself ? Its' an Honest Question & I LOVE Honesty.So I will answer Honestly

The reason no pics is Many first I don't want to scare the Innocent Spread Love Not Fear

No i'm not too scary My Family thinks i'm Pretty My husband says I look better than Beyonce' on my worst day OH how he lies,Guess thats' Why I love him

But Honestly I don't feel comfortable PLEASE do NOT Take it personal.

MY insecurity. My family too Oh pic of Husband I'm just showing off He hates that pic I LOVE IT So it stays

I thinking though i've seen on other profiles where only Friends can see pics Maybe I'll do that

My friend Bruce hes' a Gentleman Giant he befriended me admiring my pg. have alot Graphics posted exspressions of myself

Well Bruce and I chat football ,we are both HOPELESS NY Jets fans daily life etc. I complimented him one day for not asking me about pics cause Hover Spot is of the Hook FREAKS R US I do alot of Bi*atch slapping there

Bruce said"Blind cannot see but they Love" OMG did that floor me HOW TRUE .He told me I judge by honesty politeness friendliness I don't need to see your pic to be a Friend Thats Why Bruce is My Friend YAY!!!

I try but by no means am I perfect ,no one is

I saw this pic/slogan What did you words say today ?

I always try to be positive and spread cheer Negativity is depressing,sours everything .

Its much easier to be Nice

Our Parents taught us" If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all ."WISE WORDS

Silence is Golden

Certainly Everyone is entitled to his /her own opinion & I RESPECT Everyones'Opinion

But being intentionaly mean or saying hurtful things is aweful
