Storm of Confusion 1&2 Rainbow after the Storm

Storm of Confusion

An emotional storm violently pouring in my head

I want to weather it under the umbrella of my bed

A current of feelings swirling swiftly & violently

Cyclone of scattered thoughts running recklessly

A vicious vortex of torment endlessly whirling

A jet stream of mixed messages ferociously spinning

Beyond tears desert dry, wind burned , and confused

Heavy hail is pounding on my heart leaving it bruised

Storm of Confusion Part 2

Is it real way off the Richter scale or an optical illusion

This fierce storm gaining a new mass of emotional confusion

Reflecting on the past weather touchdowns as angst stirs

A tempest forming rapidly unsure when it reoccurs

Uncontrollable winds reopening past unhealed wounds

My life is blessed now,yet has unresolved crosswinds

Mother earth gave birth but,she quickly shunned

Leaving her seedling alone,castoff, and stunned

Rainbow after the Storm

The seedling blooms into a firmly planted bright sunflower

Weathering many a violent thunder and lightening showers

Sunflower met the love of her life a sturdy Chestnut oak

Oak's powerful branches protected her from future smoke

Together they flourished nurturing a rainbow hued bouquet

Blessed with faith, hope , and love as a family they pray

Golden sunshine filled days have replaced storms of gray
