Question to everyone if your in crowded office, train, bus, restaurant, etc. And all seats are taken ,a female ,child or elder person, comes in what to you do ????
I was at the dentist today office was full 2 emergencies which is uncontrollable.
I stood up while 2, 1 in his 60's other in his 30's males were sitting in chairs,a female young arounf my age 40's offered me her seat I guess she was raised with manners,& a kind person after 20 minutes the elder gentlemen offered me his seat .I politely said "Thank You no I'm fine "
Thinking the azzhole 30 yr .old would offer his seat instead,But he did not
Another young lady came into office young and attractive,I just knew 30 yr,punk would offer her his seat NOT!!!
He sat there doing a crossword puzzle .I had a few choice words for his crosswords
If my Sons' or Husband did not offer their seat to any female, child , or elderly person my purse shoe and back hand would smack them back to reality
After 40 minutes ,young lady who originally offered me her seat was called into office she said please take my seat.I told the younger lady beauty before age .The younger lady said if my Mom saw me take that seat before you .
So I got loud I had ,Had enough come on.."I said a True Man would offer a Lady his seat."
Heres ' the clincher I use a cane I have a bad back .Trust me I get around fine just feel more comfortable with my cane I style it
Its' also a hany dandy weapon when and if needed
Which ,makes this male much more less of a Man
BELEIVE me I thought about hitting him with my cane. But.it wouldn't have helped unless I hit his head
That fool did not nudge. So myself and young lady shared our seat talking about his dumb azz .The Dentist over heard us ,and said Steven Shame on you !!!He told me when I went in. I was next i'm going hurt him
on
purpose
I told Dr.Art I'm glad I bring you cookies and we have pleasant relationship OUCH!!!!LMAO
What a loser
I guess he was not raised right or simply has no manners.
What would you do????
Feel free to comment either way .

LOL
*Thank You*for your input
Don't know where they were that day , but I think there are some lurking around sometimes! lol I myself would think to give to an injured or elderly person just out of common decency This young man is in a generation of very self- serving people that were raised that they are "special" just because they exist. I suspect he was younger than 30 to think like that! lol Anyway I am seeing a turn around in some of today's new generation as I think people see that the "me" crap really hurt our society! As for one commentator's comment that a woman yelled at him for giving up his seat.....she is as big an ass as the man who didn't ! Manners don't negate women's rights! LOL That woman was a poor example of womanhood! It is the HUMAN race! Decency needs to be given to each person just out of humanity! Glad you squealed on him Jill! Hope the dentist forgot the pain killers that day! LOL
Very well said *Sheila *

More numerous than you think, but because good manners typically don't make a person stand out in a crowd, you probably wouldn't recognize them. Good point!
Where are the gentlemen?

Common sense and upbringing says GET UP and offer your seat to these other folks, unfortunetly, there seems to be a severe lack of consideration for our fellow human beings

Gee, ya think the lack of morals and values might have anything to do with the generation that these people represent? Ya know, the ones whos psyche might be damaged if we spank em, the ones who were taught if it feels good, do it? hmmmmmmmmm

LMAO throwing in pool sems innocent if she was swimming if not UT OH
I'm telling you cannot win
I think when its all said and done to common sense
But,then again that few and far between ,folks have common sense
You know, you are asking a very good question, where the hell are they. Damn seems guys are not raised to respect others any longer. I see it all the time. Myself I refuse to sit while a lady or some one elderly stands. On the flip side though there are some women who get nasty when a guy trys to act like a gentleman. I actually had one scream in my face that I was a sexist pig who must think women are fragile creatures. Maybe I shouldn't have thrown her in the pool right after that, but thought it was a good idea at the time.
