The concept of Ghetto Classicz was born around the summer of 2002, inside the mind of James Scales, the creator and C.E.O of Ghetto Classicz Authentic Street Wear.
He had a vision of something royal and unique “a new way of representing who you are and how people perceive you."
He grew up in the 1980's and was a product of his environment, born and raised in the dangerous streets of Metro Detroit, which enabled him to gain street knowledge and priceless experience.
This gave birth to his drive and burning desire to make a way for himself, to revolutionize the game.
He soon embarked on this journey and began developing the concepts and overall image for Ghetto Classicz, the wardrobe for the future. Whilst contacting artists abroad in search for his Master Mind Alliance.
Jason Franklin a long time friend and close partner of James Scales was recruited to head the graphic Design team. Shortly after this both Jason Franklin and James Scales sought after other like minded individuals to help create a new movement in Urban fashion, leading to the unique and original creation of Ghetto Classicz
Later, around November 2004 GC recruited there best asset to date. The beautiful and talented Hannah Rachel a graduate from the prestigious London College of Fashion. In a few short years, Ghetto Classicz has quickly accelerated the company's potential and will continue to grow.
Ghetto Classicz has come a long way, and is now an international corporation that strives to dominate the fashion industry on a global scale. - Interests
