  • There is a new kid in town

In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him. (Ecclesiastes 7:14, King James Version)

The mark of a saint is not perfection, but consecration. A saint is not a man without faults, but a man who has given himself without reserve to God. (W. T. Richardson)

It has been hot for the month of August, 2009. Yes August has been much hotter, humid and muggy and stickier than July and June 2009. Next year, I will not be too proud to wear sun tan lotion. This year my skin is beginning to be more and more sensitive to the sun and the rays from the sun. I thought that wearing make-up that contains mineral water and SPF would help. I find it necessary to wash up when I get home, because I can’t wait for a bath or a shower, in the evening. Yes, I battle with upper respiratory allergies, but a prescription is very strong on the heart. Once you wean yourself away from the medicine then your allergies will become stronger to the air etc. I have learned that with the recent demise of the King of Pop, it is important that you must be accountable for your own medicine management, so us poor people we can’t afford to get to hooked on drugs or any foreign substance http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/micha... .Medicine is a foreign substance and we are not created to live on medicine, and at a certain point and time you have to rid your body of the toxic medicines that will impede your endocrinology system. If you don’t take good care of your body then you will be terminally ill, http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1619396/20090...

The month of August has also been a quiet month for phone calls. Yes there have been days that I did not receive one phone call. Since it was a mobile phone, then I thought maybe the signal was not allowing me to receive calls. I know that my prepaid phone was not able to make many calls because of the signal. An apartment is the first place to drop calls because of the walls that are not your typical state of the art luxury home insulation and fiber. It feels good not to have a care in the world, but it is also strange that no one calls you. Do I want to be bugged heck “no?”

I was walking down the street near my school. A woman stopped me and demanded that I let her read my palm. I told her that I could not do that… because of my heritage. The woman told me she reads plenty of palms of Jewish people. I told her that I was serious about my faith and a great fan of the Jewish Priesthood, and as an example of studying and converting into the essence of Jesus Christ ministry that I would find it appalling to have my palm read. As a matter of fact the phone company admonishes people for calling palm readers. Why anyone would need a fortune teller (Deuteronomy 18:9-13), can they tell you about eternal happiness, righteousness and holiness that prevail in the Kingdom of God? I mean I think that was all I had on me was about $5.00 dollars. I had just read in the memorial portion of Re’eh, that Fortune Teller is expressly prohibited and punishable by death, in the 13th Chapter of Deuteronomy, http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=de... (Deuteronomy 13:5). Do I feel that she wanted me to worship another God, yes if you look at the fact that I only had $5.00 in my purse and I would have no way home, and it was not like I was planning to see her. Should the entire town of Washington, D.C. be destroyed, I don‘t know there are a lot of pretty important government offices, so maybe I would have modified this paraphrase in the book of Deuteronomy. Washington, D.C. is a very important and powerful city in the whole world. I could see me calling up the common and the authorities and saying the entire city must be destroyed because a descendant of the chief priest encountered a strong fortune teller. “Nevertheless, I have never met anyone who has disrespected me to the point that they said, let us go worship other Gods (Isaiah 19:1-4) http://www.egyptiandreams.co.uk/popup_image.ph... .

There are times that I wonder about the "cross." that is in the predominately urban and metropolitan areas. The crosses’ with the “I. H. S."; which also meant logically Isis, Horus and Seti et al., the dynasty to rule the entire world http://www.egyptiandreams.co.uk/popup_image.php?pI- D=161&osCsid=1f82bf7d14fb4b0430c8970e6cd903c4.” On the contrast the only way the Gospel can be restored, is if we know that Jesus is the Master of the World, the Son of the Living God – to the dead and very much so to the living. The dynasty of God’s precious spirit (in the presence of God), His Son is very important, and the Father God is always certainly omnipotent; but very important. If I know that I am standing in the presence of God then I will also believe that God is aware of my seeking him, and He that I seek can be found. I understand Jesus Christ, and I am not polytheistic.

Also in the memorial portion we had discussed about not taking and adding to the word of God (Deuteronomy 4:2, http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=deuter- onomy%204&version=KJV). Okay, we said that the stones that were placed before the Israelites, before their mass Exodus would complicate the divine commandments of God, while in Egypt. So God saw that you would be a people of His divine delight, a chosen people, a holy nation of Priest. If you hearken unto God’s word then you will not go away from His commandments, statutes’, ordinances’, and the vows that you made your Lord God (Deuteronomy 20:2; Psalm 20:7; Deuteronomy 7:8, Joshua 23:10; Deuteronomy 1:30; Deuteronomy 3:22; and Exodus 14:4, 25).

An example of adding and taking away from the word is for instance in the passage of the governing principles of warfare can be illustrated in the memorial portion of Shoftim (Judges). In verse 2 of Chapter 20 of the book of Deuteronomy it is the priest that shall approach and speak to the people, to announce engagement of war, not within the civil strife (civil war) but with another foreign nation. The priest coaches the people not to be fearful of the greater number of horses; chariots; and people. The priest admonishes that “you should not be fearful of them; for the Lord your God, it is He that is with you, He has brought you up from the land of Egypt" (Deuteronomy 20:2).

Note: In 'every generation', says Moses, there will be those entrusted with the task of interpreting and applying the laws of the Torah. "According to the law that they will teach you, and the judgment they will instruct you, you SHALL do; you Shall not turn away from the thing that they say to you, to the right nor to the left." (Courtesy of Chabad.org).

Furthermore, Moses said that "If you add or take away the words, then you will not know that it is the Priest who also gets the moral up for the soldiers, which means Israel you are a warrior of God.” Like the prior memorial portion, Shoftim also discusses the prohibited conduct of sorcerers (fortune tellers; Isaiah 49:9-13) http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Is... .If you remember the fortune teller foretold away from the coming of Jesus Christ; therefore he could not have possibly ful-filled the scriptures which is the odds of 1 to 16 billion people. God wants you to be holy and blameless; therefore you shall hearken to his divine commandments. If you hearken to God’s word then you will not yield to soothsayers; dreamers and fortune tellers (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). The officer is never appointed for the position of the High Holy Jewish Priest; see A Kohen (called the mashuach milchamah, "anointed for battle&quot:) is appointed to the task of preparing the people for War (Courtesy of Chabad.org). How about first born or the only son, is it fair that they are sent to every war that the U.S. has ever been involved in conflict, on the foreign theatre.

    Deuteronomy 20:5-19
Verse 5, The officers SHALL say to the army: "Has anyone built a new house and not dedicated it? Let him go home, or he may die in battle and someone else may dedicate it. Verse 6, Has anyone planted a vineyard and not begun to enjoy it? Let him go home, or he may die in battle and someone else enjoy it. Verse 7, Has anyone become pledged to a woman and not married her? Let him go home, or he may die in battle and someone else marry her." Verse 8, Then the officers SHALL add, "Is any man afraid or fainthearted? Let him go home so that his brothers will not become disheartened too." Verse 9, When the officers have finished speaking to the army, they SHALL appoint commanders over it.
Verse 10, When you march up to attack a city, make its people an offer of peace.
Verse 11, If they accept and open their gates, all the people in it SHALL be subject to forced labor and SHALL work for you.
Verse 12, If they refuse to make peace and they engage you in battle, lay siege to that city.
13 When the LORD your God delivers it into your hand, put to the sword all the men in it. 14 As for the women, the children, the livestock and everything else in the city, you may take these as plunder for yourselves. And you may use the plunder the LORD your God gives you from your enemies. 15 THIS IS HOW YOU ARE TO TREAT ALL THE CITIES THAT ARE AT A DISTANCE FROM YOU AND DO NOT BELONG TO THE NATIONS NEARBY.
16 However, in the cities of the nations the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance, do not leave alive anything that breathes. 17 Completely destroy [a] them—the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites—as the LORD your God has COMMANDED you. 18 Otherwise, they will teach you to follow all the detestable things they do in worshiping their gods, and you will sin against the LORD your God.

    {Note: God forbids the destruction of trees i.e., used in the worship of idols and alters}
Verse19, When you lay siege to a city for a long time, fighting against it to capture it, do not destroy its trees by putting an ax to them, because you can eat their fruit. Do not cut them down. Are the trees of the field people, that you should besiege them? 20 However, you may cut down trees that you know are not fruit trees and use them to build siege works until the city at war with you falls.

If you remember the other nations sacrificed all animals mercifulLY, and for what it WERE not accepted by our God, the one True God. The other nations’ did not take the time to build an altar of stone to the Lord God and he did not habitat before the presence of the Gentile nations. In the Memorial Portion of Balak, Balaam is careful to ask that seven alters be prepared, and they were clean alters of stone, not wood. Therefore we should be careful not to cut a tree down for sorcery or idolatry. God recompenses the gentile nations that practice idolatry in the book of Jeremiah and Isaiah, and a peace covenant is established with the Messiah (Ezekiel 30:26) http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=ez...

The Book of Revelations 23:16-18, http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Re...
16 " I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you[a] this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star."
17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.
18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book.
19 And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.

“In closing, you can see that the Israelites did not hearken unto God’s word. Many of the tribes did not prevail because they refused to listen to the Priest at the commencement of a battle, and stayed near the seaside. Many of the other tribes broke Jewish law and married, and had bastards with the very people God had commanded that they stay away, and the people became a thorn in their side see memorial portion “Ki Teitzei.” [Note: I have never married because I too feel like a stranger in the Greater Washington Metropolitan area; and so it is true that I have never married.] So many people may say that it is okay to view the law this way or that way, but as long as no one is perfect then not even I can say yes, I am truly ready to hear, hearken, observe and perform the duties of the law. Remember the Church is going to be the last to make up her mind to submit to the Jewish Law - as the law is set aside but cannot be done away with. Israel may have been a backslider to God, their husbandmen; but we have a new Kid (the Bridegroom) on the block and he is coming for his wife, and she is the Church. The church has many functions that are necessary to be fulfilled for study and worship that can not be cursed or moved, not even by the son of Perdition.

    John Sanders (b. abt 1630, d. after 1681)

John Sanders is the first member of our Sanders family line in America that can be proven. We have good documentation for John's son Richard down to Jesse Sanders. The documentation on John and Phoebe Sanders is not so clear. What is clearly documented is that John came from England and settled in Nansemond Cty, Va. He and two other people patented 1600 acres of land in 1681 (Nansemond and Isle of Wight, Va). We know that Phoebe was alive in 1706, widow of John Sanders, remarried as Phoebe Curle according to Robert Sanders will. From the dates mentioned in the existing historical documents (will's and land grants) we can estimate that John was probably born abt. 1630. :)

A direct ancestor of mine was pardoned from an action of notorious rebellion from the royal governor and fined over 2000 pounds of tobacco, in March 1st, 1676 or March 1st, 1677. My direct ancestor had the first civil trial held for rebellion of Bacon's followers. He married my maternal direct ancestor, daughter, Susanna Ravinett. She probably lived with Rolfe, as her father worked with Rolfe and was one of the first census takers in Jamestowne, Virginia in 1623.

As you began to read on this family originates from Jewish ancestry (Deuteronomy 1), verse 9 At that time I said to you, "You are too heavy a burden for me to carry alone. verse 10 The LORD your God has increased your numbers so that today you are as many as the stars in the sky. verse 11 May the LORD, the God of your fathers, increase you a thousand times and bless you as he has promised! verse 12 But how can I bear your problems and your burdens and your disputes all by myself? verse 13 Choose some wise, understanding and respected men from each of your tribes, and I will set them over you." verse 14 You answered me, "What you propose to do is good." verse 15 So I took the leading men of your tribes, wise and respected men, and appointed them to have authority over you—as commanders of thousands, of hundreds, of fifties and of tens and as tribal officials. verse 16 And I charged your judges at that time: Hear the disputes between your brothers and judge fairly, whether the case is between brother Israelites or between one of them and an alien. verse 17 Do not show partiality in judging; hear both small and great alike. Do not be afraid of any man, for judgment belongs to God. Bring me any case too hard for you, and I will hear it, http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=5... .

As a perpetual covenant between the Lord God and Israel, the Shabbat sanctifies his people. We pray that all of Israel will be saved and continue to wait for the Messiah (Exodus 20:8-11, 31:13).[nickname]http://www.sandersweb.net/PDF/nan- semond.htm[/nickname]

May you have a blessed Shabot, Thank you.

  • Finals

I have completed my finals for Summer 2007. I am happy and I have about a month before school starts for the Fall 2007.

I will be very happy to go back to school. I need a break, but I am glad that I have been committed to seeing my goals through, and doing so as soon as possible.

Next semester or term will be much more difficult and the classes will be at level 300 and 400. So I will have to be very organized and planned.

  • I would like thank

First of all, I would like to thank everyone who has stopped by my page.

I have been a little busy and have had a hard time returning phone calls. I really appreciate you thinking about me.

I am so excited because I am getting Maroon 5 concert tickets. And it makes me happy that I get to go to a concert.

I have been invited to a Sanders Smith family reunion (2007-North Carolina). The gap on my paternal side is very damaging so I am hoping to make a difference. I registered for the fall and I find all of this very flattering and overwhelming.

My favorite Maternal Great Aunt died. So everyone attended her funeral, in Johnston County, North Carolina. She had 3 police cars out in front of the church door.

I have a boyfriend now, and it is taking some adjustment to getting to.

I am in the process of taking my midterm-exams. I got a 80% on my Math level 100 (introduction to algebra and basic mathematics). I am glad that I took the course, there were a few techniques that I was unfamiliar with and so I really glad to be reviewing the course. I also am working on a legal portfolio for another (2nd) Introduction to Paralegal course. I have been amazing and have helped many students out tremendously.

My four year old will be going to school, so I am really excited about that... I have gotten really darker and that's about it...

Well take care and thanks for stopping by....

    ~ Thalia

  • Special thanks to Nana, you're the best

As for me, I did pretty well. In my Sociology class for the developing nations, I scored a 110 percent because of the extra credit points. However, in my Business class, which an international business class, I now have an average of only 86%, so that means that I must work on the terminology and get that Final Exam down packed.

In closing, can you believe I got this question wrong from my Sociology level 300 class, for Developing International Countries: National-accounts data tend to provide a more pessimistic view of trends in poverty than do household-survey data.
    Your Answer: True INCORRECT
    False: CORRECT ANSWER

Again thanks to all of those who supported me. God bless and Peace.

  • Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus

Hello, today is the first day that I am using NetLog, instead of Facebook.:)

I don't think that it is much of a difference. But I am in the middle of Mid-term Exams.

I forgot to take a test last week, and so now I am on pens and needles hoping that I get a repreive.

Yesterday, Sunday, April 29, 2007, I bullyed my oldest sister and told her that I wouldn't bug her if she dropped off some rail/train money to go to a place that I did not want to go, but I had to call of the Appeal.:)

I had an emergency and had a hefty fee for being late with the rental car. It appears that when you get caught up in traffic with the Executive Office of the United States, it's always a traffic pain.

Anyway, please drop by and wish me luck and blessings on my test, quiz and Exams. Take care. Love always.

    ~ Thalia :)
