Desiring to be a disciple of Christ, He has led me to establish the Waikiki Beach Outreach Ministry to feed and minister to the homeless from Queen Kapiolani Beach Park (near the Waikiki Aquarium) to Ala Moana Blvd. & Ala Wai Canal at this time. This is the area that I lived in when I was homeless and know the burdens living this way. He has shown me that the Waikiki Beach Outreach Ministry will have others feeling the burden of the homeless here and will distribute food to the homeless six or seven days a week. (On Wednesdays, another group of Christians who are following God’s will, have been providing abundant food at the chess tables on Kuhio Beach; therefore, Wednesday is the day of rest for Waikiki Beach Outreach Ministry unless God drops additional food to the ministry.) Today, the church is without walls under the sky of Waikiki Beach, and non-denominational. I have been moved to help the poor most every day.
God has led me to distribute at over 1500 Bibles purchased by me or donated from many organizations. God has led me to provide over 110,000 meals to the homeless on Waikiki Beach since July 4, 2003 as of August 30, 2009. Jesus did this “About five thousand men had eaten” (Mat 14:21) in one day and now God has allowed more than 2500 meals to be served each month. At this time, over 70 hours of my time and most of the food came out of the funds God has given me from my small pension. God has shown me to also practice sharing the Good News at most of the AA and NA meetings in this area many times a week where some of the homeless attend. Today, most of the homeless know me and many invite me to share some good news with them, ask for intercessory prayer, or just fellowship with them. They know I am committed to help them in any way I can. I have given all I had and am getting to God's glory. Are you moved to help the Waikiki Beach Outreach Ministry with your time and resources? I have been moved to help the poor as God leads me.
“Whoever does what my Father in Heaven wants is my brother and sister and mother” (Mat 12:50). “Always do for other people everything you want them to do for you” (Mat 7:12). I need to be vigilant to thank God and let others know I am only a delivery boy for God’s will. “Be careful not to do you good works in public in order to attract attention. If you do, your Father in heaven will not reward you. So when you give to the poor, don’t announce it with trumpet fanfare. This is what hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets in order to be praised by people. I can guarantee this truth: That will be their only reward. When you give to the poor, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. Give your contributions privately. Your Father sees what you do in private. He will reward you” (Mat 6:1-4). I have been moved to help the poor with humility.
Additional literature is available that describes the mission and statement of faith upon request. Several web sites describe more and include some pictures, but my son is updating most of them right now, such as www.waikikibeachoutreach.com , http://www.boberb.org , www.DisciplesOfYeshua.org ,
