1) THE BIBLE SAYS HOMOSEXUALITY IS WRONG.
Why yes, it does. And I do believe the bible also says only GOD shall judge. Therefor, you are sinners in your own eyes now aren't you?
**I must agree with this, after all, MOST strongly-religious people say this! and yet they claim they don't judge! it's total BS!! They do judge and by doing this, they may not realize it, but it makes them look like asses!! Only God can judge, and God made EVERYONE in his or her own image! So there, point made! lol**
2) GAY MARRIAGE WILL DESTROY THE ULTIMATE VALUES OF MARRIAGE.
"Till death do us part", that's one of the most common vows of a marriage right? Do I even need to bring up the divorce rate in this country? Marriage is supposed to be a representation of love, trust, and the desire to spend the rest of your lives with each other. Seems to me that the minute differences of body parts has nothing to do with those ultimate values.
**As a STRAIGHT, happily MARRIED woman (whom I love dearly! =]) once said, Gay relationships, for the most part, WORK OUT MORE THAN HETEROSEXUAL RELATIONSHIPS DO! So legalizing gay marriage would only support the value of Marriage, not destroy the values!**
3) GAY MARRIAGE WILL LEAD TO MORE GAY PARENTING WHICH WILL LEAD TO GAY CHILDREN.
Come on people! How close minded can you be? Both my parents are very much straight and I'm very much gay. Which, in true logic, would hold factual for the opposite. Yes, a gay person can have a gay child. But, the odds are no more higher than having a straight child. (Scientifically proven!) We were born to be like this, we did not choose it nor was it cultivated in us.
**See? that is what I've been trying to tell people!!! People do not "Choose" or are "raised" to be gay! and if it's been scientifically proven then it must be true! I have more belief in sciences than anything! So there it is people!**
4) THE LEGALIZATION OF GAY MARRIAGE WLL LEAD TO POLYGAMY AND EVENTUALLY 'ALTERNATIVE' MARRIAGES. (IE-MARRYING ANIMALS)
Contrary to that belief, gay people want monogomous relationships just as much as straight people do. Obviously there are people that want open relationships or happily cheat on their significant others. But look in the mirror here folks, that happens in every kind of relationship. Straight people are no more better then gay people at having 'functional' relationships. As for marrying or having sex with animals...that's DISGUSTING. Just because we love in a way that's uncomfortable to you doesn't mean we love in every uncomfortable way to you. We love our sex, yes. But, we love our sex with PEOPLE. Just like you. And last time I checked, not many animals can sign a marriage certificate.
**Okay, marriage to animals is SICK For one! & not every gay person want every other gay person they see! so where the hell do u get this polygamy BS from? Think logically, people!**
5) PEOPLE WILL USE GAY MARRIAGE TO EXPLOIT INSURANCE RIGHTS.
So I'm going to marry my straight girl friend to get insurance rights? Because if I was going to do that I wouldn't have thought to marry my straight guy friend? If people are going to fuck the system, they're going to find a way. So don't use that as an excuse.
**All I can say is, TOTALLY AGREE!!! lolz**
6) GAY MARRIAGE WILL REQUIRE SCHOOLS TO GIVE HOMOSEXUALITY AN EQUAL PLACE IN TEXTBOOKS AND OTHER ASPECTS OF THE CLASSROOM.
And that's bad? Maybe if we did present homosexuality in a way similar to that of heterosexuality, kids would grow up with open minds to it. And maybe the gay bashing and discriminating would decline. That would be something wouldn't it?
**I've presented this idea quite a few times before, and I think this should be done, homosexuality is NOT a new thing! It's been around for quite a while! So I think it should be pesented as positively as heterosexuality should! It would be easier for people to accept it this way, & it would be seen in a better light.**
7) WE'RE GOING TO START RECRUITING.

I love my friends; gay, straight, bisexual, asexual, whatever pleases them. I have no desire to turn any of my straight friends gay because hey, thats just more competition for me right? 
**Okay, WTF? Why would we do that? That's stipid! You can't recruit people to be gay, bi, transgender, whatever! You either are or you aren't! Everyone just realizes it at different times! So don't blame people of one sexual orientation or another for someone just realizing THEIR true sexual preference!**
Anyway... now that that's said... let me know your thoughts people, I'm curious! Mind you u won't change my mind, but I will not say anything about other's beliefs.

and in all honesty I did this out of boredom, so yeah, I agree some of my arguments are pretty weak.

The bible doesn\'t actually say Homosexually is wrong, it states that marriage is between a man and a woman and the rest is whatever you interpret it to be. God doesn\'t say \'I hate gay people\' in the bible, merely suggests straight only because a man and a man or a woman and a woman cannot have a child together (unless they adopt or do the sperm bank thing) The church made up the \'god hates gays\' thing because they don\'t like gay people. I don\'t think Gay marriage destroys the values of marriage if gay people want to commit and have a relationship with a person of the same sex then by all means go for it. We aren't one to judge based on sex alone. HOWEVER, many gay (male) couples do end up splitting up and one of them is in a battered men's shelters (I believe being gay has it's flaws, as I've dated many insecure lesbians in my life time, I don't speak for gay people though.)
The gay parents + Gay children thing is bull shit and anyone who thinks that, blame our officials in office. That's just ignorance on a level that is staggering. I myself am pansexual, but that doesn't limit me. Children don't instantly pick up on 'being gay' as the media or officials want you to think. It's simply who you're born liking. It goes the same with young girls and sexuality (and that's a whole 'nother song and dance) and now polygamy and alternate? I think out government has officially lost their marbles. Polygamy is cultural and sometimes spiritual if anything (Look at Mormons) Homosexuality is widely exploited in Greek and Roman history as well as any other history way back. If they can't teach that in school? I mean I know they shouldn't go in depth with 'sexploits' and 'amorous affairs' but you know just general. A lot of my history I double checked on. Lots of circle jerks in Roman history lol.
As for the last thing, not a single gay man or lesbian has EVER tried to recruit me or anyone else for that matter. They are not cultists just people who live every day lives. For some reason I know people get more offended with the topic of Homosexuality than any other topic even before politics and religion come into play sadly.
