VACATION
HELLO EVERYONE! I JUST WANT TO LET YOU ALL KNOW THAT I AM GOING TO BE ON VACATION UNTIL THE 11TH AND THEN I WILL BE BACK ONLINE THAT SATURDAY NIGHT, THE 16TH.
I WISH IT WAS MORE OF A VACATION, I WILL BE CLEANING HOUSE AND PACKING STUFF UP FOR THE BIG MOVE AT THE END OF THE MONTH. I WILL BE MOVING BACK INTO MY NEWLY RE-BUILT HOUSE THAT WAS RUINED FROM A FIRE IN JAN. I WILL MISS YOU ALL!

THE BIZARRE TATTOO
A MAN WANTED A HUNDRED DOLLAR BILL TATTOOED ON HIS PENIS. SO HE GOES INTO A TATTOO SHOP AND MAKES THE REQUEST. THE TATTOO ARTIST TELLS HIM THAT IT WOULD COST HIM $1000.00 TO DO THE BIZARRE REQUEST. THE GUYS THINKS ABOUT IT FOR A WHILE AND DECIDES THAT IT'S A FAIR PRICE. THE ARTIST STARTS THE TATTOO-ING AND IN THE MIDDLE OF THE JOB ASKS THE MAN, "WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS"? THE MAN REPLIES, "THAT'S PERSONAL". WITH THAT, THE ARTIST CONTINUES HIS WORK.
A WHILE LATER, THE ARTIST WHO IS STILL INTRIGUED BY SUCH A BIZARRE REQUEST TELLS THE CUSTOMER, "I WILL WAIVE THE $1000.00 IF YOU TELL ME WHY YOU ARE DOING THIS". THE MAN THINKS AGAIN AND REPLIES, "OKAY, THAT IS REASONABLE". THE MAN CONTINUES. "THERE ARE THREE REASONS:

STILLNESS ON THE WATER
North, South, East, West. Whichever way the river moves, he will go. He wants peace and serenity. Leaving the busy world behind, he pushes off.
Gracefully he moves through the water as if he is one with it. He pulls in the paddle and flows with the river. He closes his eyes;a branch falls from a tree far from the rivers bank, birds sing from high in the trees, a fish comes up to the surface then plummets back into the clear water.
With a slight change of wind, he puts the paddle back in the water to steer the canoe.
The beautiful trees are full of green, the sky cloudless and blue. There are other canoe's around but he sees them not, he is out there alone, Stillness On The Water.
The clean fresh air clears his mind as he flows with the water. He worries about nothing except maybe tipping over but he is skilled so the thought passes. He loves canoeing. Except for the river,he is in control. The river comes to a "Y". Right or left? Feeling right was best, he went to the right.
After eating a sandwhich and drinking a cup of coffee from his thermos, he passes a couple who have their canoe tied off to a tree in the shade. They are laughing and appear to be happy. Even though he likes to be alone on water, he longs for a companion to share his journeys with. He thinks about it for a while until out of earshot of the couple and the thought passes. The water calls to him, he is one with it. Stillness On The Water.
He flows through the water on straight-a-ways and around bends, looking at the scenery on both sides of him;enjoying the view, loving the nature. Before he knows it, the sun is starting to set. Now, he awaits in anticipation for this is one if his highlights of canoeing.
How beautiful, the colors it turns the sky. Something so natural that everyone takes for granted can't be when you are on the water. The different hues of colors surround and engulf you. You are part of the most beautiful thing on earth.
While the sun is finishing it's set, he looks for a place to camp. After unloading the canoe, unpacking his sack, he starts a fire. He sets up his small tent and starts making his supper. After a good meal was eaten, he heads for the tent. While lying in his sleepingbag, before closing his eyes, he looks out onto the water. The moon is out, full and shinning on the water covering it with light. "What a beautiful sight to see".
With a smile on his face, he zips up the tent, pulls the sleepingbag up to his chin and drift off to sleep.
He sought peace and serenity, and that he found. Stillness On The Water -
DALLAS GAME
Going to watch the Dallas/Giants game on Sunday (1-13-08). They need this win to play against the Packers next Sunday (1-20-08) The Cowboys have played the Giants twice before and won both games. Anyone want to guess as to who will win on Sunday??
