Raise Your Voice

Since the policies of President Franklin D. Roosevelt , we, as a society, and individual people have become ever more dependent upon the government to fix our social problems. Unfortunately, the only thing that government seems to be truly efficient at is creating more government. We, as a people, need to work within our communities, to improve our world. Do things like plant a community or neighborhood-shared garden. Trade labor instead of dollars. Get independent. Help your neighbor learn how. Teach them a skill. Encourage them to go to school. Tell them that they can help make the world a better place instead of depending on the government to do it. Convince them it is possible.
“What if they don’t like politics? Well, there are ways to get involved without being a part of the political machine. Volunteer for a Christian organization. Help at a daycare or local school. Mentor someone. Take your power back by getting informed and getting educated. The liberty that the people of this nation are losing is not being taken by force; an apathetic populace is giving it away because they do not understand what they have. Nor treasure it as closely as they could have. As we slip more and more towards a kind of "pseudo-socialism,” instead of the freedom loving embrace of capitalism the need for the voice of the passionate population of the nation needs desperately to be heard. Raise your voice, and your hand in support of America and your fellow man.

The Enigma

Self-Relience

Sometimes, I believe we rely too heavily on government intervention to solve all our problems. TANF, Food Stamps, Medicaid, Medicare, WIC, public school systems and government bailouts of private banks and corporations. Doesn’t this in some ways take away from our creativity to solve the problem on our own? Jefferson said “Dependence begets subservience and venality, suffocates the germ of virtue, and prepares fit tools for the designs of ambition [thiers].” I believe it does because we know that the government is going to step in and guide things. To most this means, we just sit back and let the government drive. So they decide where we go. I believe if things are going to be changed so we can accomplish what needs to be done, it is vital that the government takes a step back and the American people sit down into the driver seat for a while. No one knows better what needs to be accomplished than the people that are living their lives within society everyday. You know, that old of the people, by the people, for the people kind of thing where the people actually solve some of their own problems? We must get behind the wheels of our businesses and lives and make the choices we know need to be made and get this country moving again! On the road, people!!!!

Together We Can
ENIGMA

True Happiness

True happiness and love must come from love of the self. If you do not love yourself, you cannot truly love another. Happiness comes from within. There is no amount of wealth or material possession that can create happiness for us; we are responsible for doing that our selves. Self-esteem and self-love are critical for happiness/success. I am not saying that we all will not have moments of strife or struggle, but that we are responsible for our own happiness, based on an acceptance of who we are in the present. We probably all want more, but the key to happiness is being satisfied with our own being. Attitude is everything! Without a good attitude about oneself, not much else can work.

Health Care Reform

Most of us know that this supposed health care "reform" is not a good thing, but do you know that it would MANDATE training our older citizens and those with chronic health problems to make living wills. Now, how easy will that make it convince your nice elderly grandmother that it is her duty to die because it will help her grandchildren? After all, it would end her pain and the burden on her relatives and the country. Isn’t she patriotic? Does she want her grandbabies to suffer?
On page 425 it says in black and white that EVERYONE on Social Security, (ie… all senior citizens and SSI recipients) will go to MANDATORY counseling every 5 years to learn and to choose from ways to end your suffering (and your life). Health care will be denied based on age. 500 Billion will be cut from Seniors healthcare. The only way for that to happen is to drastically cut health care. Logically, the oldest and the sickest will be cut first.
Listen to this interview Fred Thompson's Radio Show interviewing Betsy McCaughey (pronounced Mc Coy) then……CALL YOUR REPRESENTATIVES IN WASHINGTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tell them to read page 425 if they don't read anything else. Surely, some of them have parents and will be concerned especially since they do not want to be seen as agreeing to push SUICIDE to cut medicare spending!"

Fred Thompson: Interviews
<a href="http://en.netlog.com/go/out/url=http%3A%2F%2Ffredthompsonshow.com%2Fpremiumstream%3Fdispid%3D320%26amp%3BheaderDest%3DL3BnL2pzcC9tZWRpYS9mbGFzaHdlbGNvbWUuanNwP3BpZD03MzUxJnBsYXlsaXN0PXRydWUmY2hhcnR0eXBlPWNoYXJ0JmNoYXJ0SUQ9MzIwJnBsYXlsaXN0U2l6ZT01"target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://fredthompsonshow.com/premiumstream?dispid=320&headerDest=L3BnL2pzcC9tZWRpYS9mbGFzaHdlbGNvbWUuanNwP3BpZD03MzUxJnBsYXlsaXN0PXRydWUmY2hhcnR0eXBlPWNoYXJ0JmNoYXJ0SUQ9MzIwJnBsYXlsaXN0U2l6ZT01
